f liquors for a small charge. I would over estimate your guest count as we ran out of 2 liquors by the end of the night which was unfortunate even though we over estimated the count already. count was 150 but only ended up with 135 guests.
Do make sure your coordinators checks to make sure any upgrades arrive at setup time as our upgraded liquor was late to the party (was also told it ran out by the end) if one of our guests hadn't pointed it out during dinner we wouldn't have noticed...

EJ and Brenda were in constant communication with me in the months leading up to the wedding to make sure everything was perfect. Plus, everyone at the wedding loved our bartender, Akili. There were never lines for the bar - her service was super fast! lenty of emails going back and forth covering all the details, from arrival time to drink specifics.
That being said, there was a miscommunication between the supervisor and the bartender, which resulted in our bartender showing up later than expected. Fortunately, she still arrived before the ceremony started. It seems, though, that due to the misinformation, she may have been a little harried (understandably). I'm not sure where the fault lies, if there is any, but it's just something to note.
Because of that, when the ceremony ended and she was rushed with guests, she was immediately overwhelmed. Now, when working with Arizona Bartenders via email beforehand, they did mention there would be a rush right after the ceremony (they were right). However, they assured me there would be no need for two bartenders for my guest count (125).
I think they are probably right, but due to her late arrival and the nature of a last-minute set up, I'm not sure if the bartender was prepared/fully set up. The line was packed and slow-moving, eating up most of the cocktail hour and leaving a number of my guests unserved.
Fortunately, I've worked in the service industry and a number of my guests are/were also bartenders. Unbeknownst to me until after the wedding, one of them volunteered to help the bartender and got behind the bar with her to eliminate the line and allow my guests to enjoy the remainder of cocktail hour.
From that point on, there were no further issues. The bartender was pleasant and a delight, and once everything was settled, there was never much of a line again (bringing me back to my earlier point where I think Arizona Bartenders was correct in assuming I only needed one bartender).
Again, I'm not sure where the fault lies — things happen. Miscommunications happen, especially on a day with so many moving parts. In the end, everything worked out and there were no issues, but I do feel that it's worth mentioning. That way, if you have a guest count of 125 or upward, you can make the decision for yourself whether to have one or two bartenders.
