Gwen has been so easy to work with. She’s extremely knowledgeable and handles everything very professionally. Our venue coordinator didn’t show it, and Gwen ran our entire rehearsal with no problem. Our wedding was 11/28/2020 and our officiant was Mike G. He said my first name wrong in front of everyone and this was extremely embarrassing. My biggest regret was booking an officiant last minute but honestly, I still don’t think there is an excuse for this at all. Phil and Gwen seem wonderful and were very fast with responding to my inquiry about availability and let me know they would have someone contact me if available this day. I receive no apology and still paid this man $200 to say my name wrong on the most important day of my life.

We came across Phil and Gwen because they were the preferred vendors through our wedding venue. They were absolutely amazing to work with. Gwen reached out to us to schedule a time to meet Phil so he could get to know us and what we wanted our ceremony to be all about. Once we met him we were over the moon with their services, there's definitely a reason they are Stone Bridge Manors preferred vendor. He took time to understand who our other vendors were and plan out our ceremony. He is very humorous and really fit the feeling we wanted of our ceremony perfectly. We have been to weddings in the past that were a little too religious for our liking and he made sure to walk us through our different options and readings. Easily our favorite part of our wedding!

While we were planning our destination wedding, we ran into great difficulty with finding the perfect officiant for our wedding day. After some searching, we came across Arizona Ministers and knew we needed to contact them. After a wonderful phone call, we knew immediately that we wanted to have Phil officiate our wedding. Our experience with both Phil and Gwen was professional, positive and seamless especially with planning everything from a far. Phil did an amazing job on our wedding day and had the perfect balance of combining our values with his words. Phil was personal, meaningful, natural and his overall disposition was beyond genuine. We even had guests come up to us thinking we had known Phil for years! There is nothing we would have changed with how our ceremony went and it was everything we hoped (and more!).

We had the pleasure of being married by Gwen Waring. While we had not known Pastor Gwen well, we were very impressed with her services. We had our initial meeting with Pastor Gwen and she was so personable, we felt as though we had known her for ages. During the ceremony, she conveyed our message of love to our attendees in the most simplistic and caring manner. We had attendees approach us saying "they loved our minister...how long have we been going their church." When I shared that we had only recently met, they were surprised at our well she know US and made the message so personal. I'd highly recommend their services.

Phil and Gwen are incredible. From our first conversation it was apparent these two were professionals and my future husband and I could relax knowing they were the perfect choice for our wedding. They provided wonderful information about the process and paperwork needed to be completed at the court. It was also made clear what information and readings for our ceremony was needed from us. They gave us visuals and ideas of what we could do. Phil was our minister. He was sincere, funny and very well spoken. I've been to weddings where guests have a glazed look in their eyes until cocktail hour... not at our wedding! My wife and I had an intimate destination (we're from Canada) wedding ceremony at a private residence in Scottsdale, Arizona. The vision for our ceremony was 'romantic' and 'non-religious', and Gwen executed this beautifully. She provided us with some guidance on the words and readings to choose, and she also memorized and recited a quote/reading we provided her the day before our ceremony. Gwen's suggestions, planning, and impeccable attention to detail made us feel as relaxed as possible in the lead up to our ceremony. This was especially important to us as we planned our Scottsdale wedding from our home in Canada. It was a pleasure to meet her, and we're very appreciative for how she enriched our special and memorable day.

Gwen was always prompt in her replies to my countless emails leading up to the event, and was extremely helpful (and patient!) in providing information regarding the marriage license requirements for visitors from outside the U.S. She was also very accommodating in tailoring the ceremony to our specific requirements (non-religious, and a very small wedding party - just the bride and groom!), and again, considering that we only met Gwen for the first time in person as we gathered for the ceremony, she immediately put both of us at ease, and helped make the day everything we had hoped for. Phil was one of the highlights of our wedding. He really got to know us during our counseling session and he made our ceremony so personal to our relationship. Phil did a great job officiating our wedding ceremony! Gwen was very responsive to email and very organized. I had put together a ceremony that was different than what Phil generally does, and he was very receptive to doing the ceremony how we wanted it which made our day very special. He asked me to call him the day before the wedding and we reviewed the ceremony together as he wanted to make sure he got everything right on the day of our wedding.

Overall, Phil and Gwen were amazing people to work with! If you are looking for an officiant to your wedding, Phil and Gwen are the team you want. Since my husband and I do not live in AZ, all correspondence had to be handled via email and phone, which I was a little worried about at first. However, whether is was email, phone call, or text, we were able to easily work out every detail prior to the big day with ease. During our first phone meeting, Phil asked us what we did and didn't want, if and how religious we were, if we wanted to write our own vows, a little bit about us personally, and even walked us through the ceremony (it felt like a practice run the of the real thing), which really put my mind at ease about the ceremony and what he intended to say. Through the entire process, both Phil and Gwen made sure we were comfortable and happy. On the day of the ceremony, Phil speech was so beautiful and moving, it made everyone in our small party teary-eyed at one point. He went through the speech exactly how we asked, and even related the speech to the ceremony location (the Grand Canyon).

We reached out to Gwen and Phil 2 months before our wedding hoping they could perform our ceremony at the Grand Canyon. We thought it was going to be more difficult since it was very last minute but they let us know our options and worked with us to chose a perfect date. Gwen was amazing setting it all up. She was always really friendly and listened to what we wanted. We spoke to Phil a month before the date and went over the details of our ceremony. My husband and I both teared up listening to Phil go over the beautiful ceremony he had planned. The day of, Phil was on time and had us all teary eyed by the end of the ceremony. We could not have asked for a better Officiant. It was beautiful and everything we could have asked for.

We had our minister cancel on us just weeks before the wedding. When Gwen said she was available we breathed a sigh of relief. But not only did she show up, the ceremony was sweet, heartfelt, and everything we could have asked for. She was professional from beginning to end, coordinating with the deejay and making sure my father knew how to give me away. She also took the marriage license to get certified the Monday after the wedding, saving a lot of headache. Highly recommended!

I cannot thank Gwen Waring enough for being the officiant at our wedding on 10/7/17; I am so glad she was able to be apart of our special day. We didn’t read any reviews of Arizona Ministers prior. From the first email to Gwen she was very prompt and receptive with my many questions. The dates were booked and the venue changed but she was able to accommodate us. We had a very simple ceremony and were expecting that from our officiant Phil. We were so pleasantly surprised by the thought and input he put into our ceremony! It really MADE our ceremony. You always think back about the day and we definitely will always have the best memories of what a special day it was because of the special words.

Gwen officiated our wedding on 5/14/16 in Scottsdale, Az. We had recently gone to a few weddings the month before our wedding where family & friends had gotten ordained & performed the ceremony...although this was a sweet gesture, it was not professional & did not flow whatsoever. Gwen however was 100% professional & even though she didn't personally know us, she made our ceremony personal & intimate for us and our guests. We got to meet with Gwen a couple months before the wedding so she could get to know us and our story. Throughout our engagement, we emailed frequently to perfect every detail of the ceremony so when the big day arrived, there was an immediate familiarity we shared together. We did a special family vow to my daughter as well. This was so special and truly pulled at everyone's heartstrings! She was worth every dollar and truly made our wedding memorable for my groom and our family.

On our wedding, Philip arrived early and practiced (as if he needed it), we had SO many compliments from family and friends raving that Philip was, by far the best officiant they have ever seen and or heard. In the end, Philip made are ceremony so special and unforgettable. He calmed me and my husbands nerves and even made us laugh. We are so grateful to have found Arizona Ministers with Gwen and Philip and will continue to recommend their services to anyone looking for not only a wonderful officiant, but a friend.

Phil and Gwen were a joy to work with. They are very professional and helped workout the little details of the ceremony down to applying for the marriage license. Phil officiated our wedding on 10/16/15 and did an amazing job. His enthusiasm really shines through. We had a few guests ask how we found him and mentioned that he was really great! That's somethings you usually don't hear at weddings! I highly recommend them, they are amazing!
