After winning the National Woman of The Year from LLS, she began her event planning and management career in Fairfax, VA and has since successfully planned social events from Bar and Bat Mitzvahs to engagement parties, baby showers, graduations, milestone birthdays and weddings.

To start at the beginning - we interviewed four wedding planners. We selected ARJ Productions because they were very responsive, punctual, and present during our interview. We felt they were the best team to help us realize our vision. Also, we felt we could trust their judgement/recommendations - they stated upfront that they do not accept vendor kickbacks, and they require that their clients handle vendor payments. They provided access to aisleplanner.com so that we could manage 1) our budget, 2) vendor payments, 3) the wedding itinerary, 4) seating arrangements, etc. Lastly, they are competitively priced and we clicked with them personally.
Our only regret is not hiring them sooner!! We picked our venue prior to hiring a wedding planner, which led to some unexpected expenses because we didn’t know all the right questions to ask. Thankfully, Ari (ARJ Owner) and her team stepped in to resolve some major issues along the way. In addition, they connected us with top-notch vendors – a string duet, a solo guitarist, DJ, videographer, florist and rentals (tent/tables/chairs/dinnerware).
And that’s why Ari and her team are great. They are pure professionals who acted as our advocates and guides through the process. As the months to our wedding ticked away ARJ Productions was there keeping us on track, so that we wouldn’t miss key details/milestones – like sending out invitations, dress/tux selection, food tasting/selections, etc. They advised us on what we absolutely needed, what is nice to have, and what we could avoid - which saved us time and money. When we really wanted something, they made it happen. For example, we needed to pivot to an outdoor tent a month before our wedding, and ARJ quickly got us vendor options so that we could make a selection and get it locked in. It turned out amazing.
Once the big weekend finally came, Ari was on site, coordinating all deliveries, vendor engagements, and running a strict schedule to ensure everything went as planned. She worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make our day special. We wanted a classy, elegant and fun wedding - ARJ nailed it. We can’t thank Ari and everyone at ARJ Productions enough.

We chose the month of package and were so grateful to have the team take over the coordination in the busiest period. On the actual wedding day every single moment ran smoothly. After my initial call with Kristin and Ari I hired them to provide the full package of services. They immediately got to work and started sending me info on potential vendors to include catering, floral, DJ/MC, etc. Once the vendors were chosen ARJ got to work and kept us all on track as all tasks were completed within the 4 1/2 months until the event. They were all extremely professional, flexible, and accessible. I never could have pulled off hosting the event without them! When some uncertainties arose with our venue, Ari took action immediately, was totally calm, and helped us keep things in perspective!
The day of our wedding could not have been more perfect. Everything went so smoothly! Ari kept things moving on schedule without putting any stress or pressure on the day or us. The vendors were all organized and knew what they had to be doing, when, and where because of Ari and her team’s planning ahead of time. This allowed us to be totally present and soak in every aspect of the day completely. One of the most helpful aspects of working with them was their extensive network of wedding vendors. They helped us find our florist, bakery, DJ, and hair and makeup artist, and they were instrumental in coordinating with everyone to ensure everything ran smoothly. They worked seamlessly with the on-site planner at the Alexandrian Hotel, where we held our wedding, making both the rehearsal and the wedding day feel effortless. Ari and her team are incredibly creative and detail-oriented. While they handled all the major planning elements, their attention to detail truly shone on the day of the wedding. Ari ensured everything was beautifully arranged—from table settings to special items like photos. She made sure our guests knew where to be and when, encouraged them to sign our guest book, and even facilitated the distribution of the personalized letters we wrote to each guest, which included their seating assignment and meal selection. We are so grateful for all the ways Ari and her team contributed to our wedding. Ari and Kristin were prepared with back up options when they relayed the news, which the caterer we went with ended up being, in our opinion, better than the original caterer we booked. It gave us peace of mind knowing how well connected Ari and Kristin are with wedding vendors in the area. All of their recommended vendors were remarkable. Ari got to know me so well and when we hit a snag 2 days before the wedding day, she and Kristen knew exactly what to do and say to keep me calm and work things out. I knew I was in good hands and kept calm. On the wedding day, I can guarantee that things wouldn't have gone so smoothly without Ari & her team. She made sure we got to cocktail hour on time, we got all the pictures we wanted and we ate our meals. She took care of the entire wedding party, making sure they all knew where they needed to be and when. She ensured we stuck to our timeline and even enlisted my MOH to ensure we stuck to it. :-). We had a couple snags in our planning process with our caterer and Ari went above and beyond what she was contracted to do for us to help us find a new caterer 3 months out from the wedding day. What could have been an incredibly stressful situation was just a little blip on the planning timeline. She kept our big day rolling right on schedule, kept the bridal party organized, and got all the vendors where they needed to be. special skills, talent, and knowledge to make the dream wedding/event you have in mind turn into reality. And, at times, when we weren’t sure of on certain things, they came with a number of great options. Ari and Kristin are a 24/7 team and they were only a text message away when we needed them. Their secret weapon is the wide network and connections they have with different vendors - Florist, Venue, photographers, videographers, party bus, hair and make up artists, decorators, musicians… you name it. What was also extremely helpful, is that they know the business inside out and are the best price negotiators - the POC for our venue tried to sell endless number of items to us and Ari and Kristin were there to say no, we have those items covered for a much cheaper price and sometimes at no cost. Once again, ARJ Production are, BY FAR, the best in the business!

planning process, and also personable in all of our conversations. We totally trusted them and felt so comfortable as we worked through the details of the wedding. From a communication standpoint, you wont find a better duo: We booked them in March for a November wedding, and they would routinely reach out to ensure we were still on task, schedule check ins, and send over updates. Anytime we had questions, they'd respond within 24 hours with the answers we needed. They are also so well connected to the other wedding vendors, that it almost felt like we had friends on the inside who did all of our bidding. From a resource perspective, their wedding planner software is top notch. We had our own online log in and could collaborate on our timeline, vendor contracts, guest count, checklists, etc. This online tool made our lives so easy because all of our conversations and ideas were put on the site and we could make daily adjustments and updates; If you're anything like me and want to tinker with ideas during your daily lunch break, this software tool will become your best friend. On gameday, they made the timeline as smooth as butter. We didn't have to stress over any details or hiccups and they gave us gentle reminders to enjoy the day and the special moments throughout.
Overall, they created a wedding day that we will never forget. We are forever thankful to Ari and Kristin for how special they made our day and how easy and fun they made our planning process. 11 out of 10 would recommend!

I would change about that day. There were treasured moments beyond measure, as Ari and Kristin helped to make my daughter's dream wedding a reality. They made vendor introductions across the spectrum- caterers, florists, DJs, transportation, officiant, venues, bakers, photographers, videographers, etc. and helped us narrow our selections. Each selection was perfect. Ari and Kristin made us feel like we were their only client. We are so grateful for their partnership in delivering a wedding that fairytales are made of. Their organization, attention to detail, and easy going style made this whole experience memorable and fun rather than daunting. Highly, Highly recommend!!!

f plan, but the communication with Ari started way earlier and she would always check in with us before hand to make sure we were on track or if we needed any extra help. Ari was and is so supportive and attentive through the whole time that we worked with her. There was a chance of rain the day of our wedding and Ari always checked in with us to make sure that we were calm and comfortable if we needed to do a last minute change with the rain plan, which we luckily did not have to do! Ari and ARJ Productions will always have my recommendation for planning a wedding in the DC/NoVa area!

This was the best choice we could have made to ensure our wedding was executed based on our complex and detailed vision. In the beginning, we worked directly with Ari. Ari gained our confidence almost immediately. She was personable, professional, fun, and knew exactly what we needed to make the day a success. As we got closer to our wedding date, we began working with Kristen as well. Kristen was also outstanding to work with and she had the hardest job - responsible for executing all facets of our wedding day. The event turned out exactly how we wanted it to be, with many commenting it was the best wedding they have ever attended. With an original October 2020 wedding date, and a multi-day event in the works, you can only imagine the various vendor gymnastics required to postpone our larger celebration to July 2021, while also planning a small backyard elopement on on our original date. Planning a wedding during a pandemic is no small feat, and Ari was a godsend through all of it - flexible, supportive and on top of so many moving pieces. Between the fantastic vendor relationships she brings to the table, as well as relationships she's able to build thanks to her responsiveness and professionalism, navigating the massive amounts of uncertainty involved in pulling off our wedding just as restrictions were lifted in DC was made so much easier. I honestly have no idea what we would've done without her! If you are considering hiring a planner, I could not recommend Ari more!

She helped us navigate through each and every little detail of the process to help make our vision of a dream wedding a reality for us. She is super responsive, down to earth, realistic and energetic. She was a great advocate for us when it came down to any issues or difficulties we experienced (which was very few thanks to her!). Ari makes you feel like you have her undivided attention for the entire duration of wedding planning.
Ari has a wide network of vendors in the industry that clearly enjoy working with her, as well, which is a great indicator of her personality and work ethic. I met and hired many of my vendors directly through Ari, which turned out to be a wonderful decision for us.
In addition to being a wedding planner, Ari also doubles as a crisis manager. Just a couple days before our wedding, the Nationals won the World Series and we learned that the parade was likely to march right through our plans. When I woke up in a panic and messaged Ari at 7AM, she had already been awake and devising an emergency plan with our vendors. Ari is worth her weight in gold simply for her ability to stay cool and calm under pressure.
Even at Ari’s full planning level of service, her prices are ridiculously inexpensive for the amount of time, work, and energy she put into our wedding. She was the superglue that held it all together, and we had a beautiful, seamless, smooth wedding that we could actually ENJOY.. all because Ari was working behind the scenes.
She is simply the best, and we are sad that Ari cannot plan every other part of our life from here on out. Do yourself a favor and hire her!

d her magic so that the day was seamless and beautiful for us. If there were whoops's or mess-ups, I didn't know! I floated through my perfect wedding without a worry in the world all thanks to Ari's preparedness and professionalism.
We started working with Ari about a year out from our big day. We signed up for the partial planning package which was well worth the expense. I can't tell you how many times my husband (still getting used to saying “husband”) and I said that this was the one line item on our expenses that we completely could not have lived without.
My advice as a bride who's been through it: Don't think you can do it all, hire a planner, hire Ari! We absolutely love her and can't imagine our life without her now that the wedding is over.

I am someone that is very big on responsiveness. I get worried when emails get ignored or it takes significant time to get a response. I can say with 100% certainty Ari responded to every question and detail within 10 minutes. It was so easy working with Ari.
