Unique Hangar Weddings

Located at Drake Field in Fayetteville, Arkansas, the Arkansas Air and Military Museum features historic aircraft ranging from the golden age of aviation to the jet age including Vietnam-era Army helicopters, Navy jets, and even an Arkansas Air Guard C-130 Hercules. Our Main building- the vast, all-wood white hangar, is also part of Arkansas and American history. Formerly used as headquarters for one of the United States' many aviator training post during World War II. It is the oldest aviation building in Arkansas and on the Arkansas register for historic places.

This venue is amazing! Very spacious and is so unique. Lots of space inside and even outside. Few decorations are even needed as there are antique planes inside the venue.

Very cool place for a wedding! Attended a wedding recently and the pictures with the airplanes in the background and the other memorabilia from the Museum would make this a great place for any aviation loving couple.

This place gives such a great feel for a wedding. I went for my friends wedding and the space was amazing. The planes in the background was such a unique add that didn’t cramp the area. It was still spacious with a great spot for a dance floor!

fect place for a small intimate ceremony, but they've also opened up the hanger to turn it into a fun party experience. Can't wait to attend another wedding here.

Originally from southern Arkansas but moved to the Fayetteville area in 2018. I began working at this unique venue in 2020 and absolutely love the space!
