d told us that it was the best wedding band they've ever seen. One friend said she has never danced that hard in her life; another told me she almost peed her pants because she didn't want to leave the dance floor (gross, but a testament to how much fun we were all having). If I could go back in time, the only change I would make is to have Velocity play for another hour. I also want to note how wonderful Erik was to work with. He talked with us about our likes/dislikes, was patient when we dragged our feet making decisions, and gave us great ideas and guidance. We also had two musicians play during our ceremony. I decided to walk up the aisle to Baba O'Riley as a surprise for my husband, and only had a YouTube clip to share as an example of what I wanted. Erik coordinated with his team to make it happen EXACTLY as I imagined. I will never forget the look on my husband's face when he realized what song was playing - it was such an amazing moment. Thanks so much to Erik and Velocity for helping make it a perfect wedding!!

Even hotel employees were stopping my parents the next day and asking about the wedding on the 8th floor- said they heard the music and dancing were amazing. And that is an understatement. One of the main elements we wanted for our night was fun on the dance floor. To say that expectation was met is an understatement. Leslie & Jerome and whole band exceeded our expectations. My memory of our wedding night is all smiles for many reasons, but one main element was I don't think my husband and I left the dance floor the whole night. It was an absolute blast and I owe Entourage for making that happen. It is almost a year later, and I have meaning to do a review ever since, but people STILL mention to us about the band at our wedding and how outstanding they were. I cannot say enough good things about David and Front of House. Not only were they very professional and awesome to work with (especially considering we were planning the wedding from NYC), David was very communicative and open to play every single song we wanted- including some last minute additions to the playlist. They worked with my planner and myself to create the perfect timeline for the night in order to keep the energy going, and it paid off. The dance floor was packed the whole night, even with people who I have never seen on the dance floor. Even though we extended FOH for another hour (until past midnight), the dance party never thinned and the same amount of people were on the dance floor during the last song as during the first song they played. The next morning, I couldnt get enough compliments for choosing FOH. So many people told us that it was the best band and the most fun that they had ever had at a wedding. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend David and Front of House! We were BEYOND impressed with their music and voices and unbelievably happy with this decision. They literally made our wedding. Even though my wedding is over, I cannot wait to attend another wedding where FOH is playing.

SO MANY compliments on this band choice. My guests had an absolute BLAST because of how they entertained SO HARD all night! They have an incredible range for the types of music that they can perform and their energy is amazing. They were great to work with! There were SO many people on the dance floor all night for every song which is an achievement!!!

They even took our special requests into consideration. For example, I was having a hard time deciding what I wanted to use as a "siblings" dance in lieu of a father/daughter dance (my father passed away), so about an hour before the wedding I finally told them what song I wanted and assumed they were going to play it like a DJ track. It's an old song that's not at all common, so I was shocked when the time came and they played it live themselves as opposed to just playing the recording. It was so impressive that they learned it that quickly for me. We are so happy with our choice of Velocity and would recommend them to anyone!

Our daughter’s wedding was at Notre Dame and we live in Atlanta and even though her band is out of Chicago communication was always very easy. In addition, Leslie always had great ideas leading up to the wedding and we ended up using all of her suggestions! Lastly, even though we had a small hiccup during the evening Leslie was always in total control and as the Father of the Bride you could not have asked for more. If you want an exceptional 8- piece band with a large playlist that appeals to all ages led by a classy young woman look no further. You just can’t do any better than Entourage for your event!

They had the entire dance floor packed the entire night! We had so much fun and it's safe to say the rest of the wedding did too. David was also an amazing MC who did a fantastic job of controlling the room during speeches and moving the night along. Overall, I can't say enough good things. I wish we could do it all over again. He even took it upon himself to help coordinate all of the relevant vendors with the band to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible. And, of course, the music was amazing. The dance floor was always packed with guests of all ages, and every song we didn't specifically request matched our tastes perfectly. Even songs that weren't a part of their rotation sounded like they'd been playing them for years, and the custom arrangement of the song for our first dance was phenomenal. My wife and I realized fairly late in the evening that we hadn't been to the bar even once, as we had never left the dance floor once the party started. We have nothing but praise for Front of House. All of our guests had a fantastic time, and *everyone* complimented us on the band. This is the third time that our family has booked Front of House for a wedding, and we'd gladly recommend them to anyone.

We had a few special requests for songs for our processional, recessional and first dance/parent dances, and Erik and the band arranged the songs for us as part of our contract (at no additional charge). When we booked the band, we were a bit nervous because we only saw the promotional video on their site, and since they are a wedding band, it is not appropriate to go to others' weddings to see them play live. However, I think we both agree that they were even BETTER than the video on the site, as evidenced by people on the dance floor the entire night! The party never thinned out, and this was in large part to how amazing Velocity was. Several of our guests commented on how great they were, and friends of ours even inquired with Erik about playing at their wedding in Madison next year! We had a specific list of songs we wanted played, not played, and songs we were indifferent about (based on their song list), and they listened to our requests and did a wonderful job at keeping the music varied, and keeping the party going. I cannot recommend them enough- they truly rocked!

We decided to let Leslie and the band choose the music based off the feel of the crowd and it was the best decision. No one sat down once the dance floor was opened!

rive the party train at the reception and the whole evening flowed beautifully because of them. They are a well oiled machine because of Leslie, the band leader. You can just give her all the info you have and trust it will be magical, because she surely delivers! Even when she had laryngitis the day of our wedding, she brought in a woman singer from the band above entourage to sing the songs she couldn't. We never worried, she had it handled. We had so many guests tell us they've never stayed til the end of a wedding before and never seen the dance floor packed until the last song. That is all due to them! Don't forget to get Jerome to sing Michael Jackson or "Thinking Out Loud"!

I can't tell you how many times people told us that night and after the wedding how incredible the band was. Leslie, the lead singer was perfect to work with. She knows exactly how to pick songs that will all blend into the next one and was on spot with everything. I would recommend Entourage to any and everyone!!

David even took the time to find us during the evening and make sure we were comfortable with the flow and timing of the night. ive musicians for our wedding ceremony. How could the band (Velocity) sound as good live as they do in a promotional video?! Well they certainly did, and even better in person! The musicians for the ceremony were wonderful, also. Very professional. I listened to so many out of tune versions of "Pachelbel's canon" from various groups online, and Arlen's musicians were top notch. Little did I know when I was initially beginning the wedding planning process how big of an impact the music, and the bandleader have on the wedding. Erik organized our evening down to the greatest detail, really taking note of everything we wanted (no easy task!) He then executed everything perfectly. Erik was so laid back, kind, and easy to work with. He remembered everything we had told him we wanted, which is the sign of a true professional. Arlen (and particularly the band, Velocity, in our case) made our wedding better than we could've imagined. The musicians were incredible.. all so talented. The atmosphere they created was a true dance party, and everyone was on their feet the entire night. We've been to so many weddings where the music just falls flat, and the vibe of the evening with it. There was no lull or awkward moments of an empty dance floor...they understand the pace and mix of songs to keep everyone up and having a great time (guests from all generations!). We got so many comments and compliments on the band, and everyone told us they had the time of their lives (including us!) Truly, it was spectacular. We couldn't be happier with how things went, and strongly recommend this band and company for anyone planning a wedding. There are many bands to choose from in the Chicago area, but they are not all alike!! From the moment the reception began until end of the very last song, the energy and the feeling of the night's music was upbeat, high-energy, and powerful. The most frequent comment and compliment we had about the wedding and reception was, "what a great band!", which is a testament to the central role Indigo will forever play in our and our guests memories of that amazing night. From the beginning, they went above and beyond with everything. Tim Clark and Dan Nicholson took the time not just to meet us, but to get to know us before the event, learning our style and guiding us in how we could make our vision for the night a reality. We're talking about much more than just picking from a list of songs - they made sure to help and guide us on how to make the whole evening amazing. From how to introduce the wedding party, to when the best times for set dances are, to even how to transition in and out of the other various milestones of the evening, they shared with us their experience and their expertise on how to make sure the whole evening flowed as we wanted it to, and their help was crucial in making our night a non-stop party. Those that are planning a wedding know what a stress it can be, and we could never put a price on what it meant to us to feel SO CALM headed into our reception, knowing what amazing hands we were in. That alone would have been enough, but they were so kind, so incredible to work with, and so excited for us and to be a part of our night, that they even wanted us to add our own special touches - a custom mash-up of our favorite song for our first dance, arranged specifically for us by the band (and even an impromptu practice run before our guests came in!), and inviting one of the bride's sisters to be the lead singer for a special rendition of a family classic. We can never fully thank Tim and Dan, and the whole band for that extra time, effort, and energy, all just to make sure our night was unforgettable.

From the moment that the cocktail hour began with the electric violins to the final song of the evening from the 15 piece band, our guests NEVER stopped dancing. There was literally NO MOMENT where someone was not on the dance floor from beginning to end. The atmosphere of our reception was ELECTRIC! We were married on October 10, 2015 at people ARE STILL talking about how incredible the music was. In fact, family friends who attended our wedding just got engaged and their first choice for a band at their reception is Ken Arlen Productions. Our wedding was 2 weeks ago, and still people are asking how we came upon Ken and the Evolution Orchestra. From the moment cocktail hour started it was an array of beautiful classical strings, that forever set the memory of elegance and romance in our minds. We had no idea that the night could get even more spectacular. The ballroom opened to our guests, and within minutes Ken had us tearing up the dance floor with our family and friends. Our guests were loving the opportunity to dance before dinner even started! Ken did a spectacular job of drawing our guests in to all of our wonderful moments, such as cutting the cake and having our firsts dances. The Evolution Orchestra was not just a wedding band, but a truly talented group of performers. Guests were raving that the cover renditions of many songs sounded better than the originals! Now you would think dinner was a time for the band to take a break, but No! again the strings emerged with modern rock classics. Many guests chose to bypass the salad course as they belted out the string version of Bohemian Rhapsody. My husband and I sat along with our guests in absolute amazement! We could not believe what an amazing group of talented and artistic performers we were in the company of. We were, and still are, so honored to have Ken and his orchestra perform and truly make the most memorable experience of our wedding. For our wedding the music was one of the most integral parts of the night, and from the moment our celebration started Ken and his fellow musician set the most amazing atmosphere in our Grand Ballroom celebration! Ken listened to all of our requests, and played everything we requested and more. It was as if he knew exactly what we all wanted to hear before we knew ourselves! For the entire night our guests couldn't even be told to stop dancing, and the dance floor was packed from beginning to end! We are forever grateful to Ken and the entire Evolution Orchestra. They kept everyone on the dance floor all night long - in fact when we were announced to leave at the conclusion we were shocked at how many people were still there and on the dance floor! We asked that they stay overtime because no one wanted to leave! They played the perfect combination of styles of music for all ages. Caitlin was incredible! She has an amazing voice, was incredibly organized, a pleasure to work with and served as a fabulous MC. They even allowed my dad to record a song for our father/daughter dance and play it that evening as a surprise!

Late in the evening they started to play music we didn't ask for, but everyone was having a great time - as he mentioned, he knows the feel of the crowd so it worked out great. But be sure to be specific to what you want to be sure they know. They made us feel and our ceremony feel important to them and that it wasn’t going to be just another ceremony…it was going to be just as important to them as to us. What we didn’t want was another wedding band, we wanted our guests to feel like they were at a concert…and they sure did. Our guests were blown away by their sound & appearance. We would certainly work with them again and would recommend them for anyone who wants a great, professional band who is able to customize to any event.

The dance floor was PACKED all night long without having to coerce people out there – the band had everyone dancing within seconds, and the party just never let up. They know how to read the crowd and play the right song at the exact right moment. Their vocals are incredible, their energy and vibe amazing, and overall, they are incredibly kind, accommodating, and smart wedding professionals. packed every single minute. what a great blend of music, too... nothing schmaltzy like "YMCA" and those stale wedding staples. as a bonus, mr. young welcomed one of the church musicians, chuck smith, uncle of groom michael manganaro, to bring his trombone up to play. chuck loved every single minute of it, and it looked to me like the band was thrilled to have him up there with them. i have never heard such a fantastic wedding band before, ever. many people i am hearing from are saying the exact same thing. what a talented bunch. and also very personable. mr. young handled the MC duties superbly and with much class. the entire day was so memorable. in fact, the bar was raised pretty high come 9 p.m., but entourage only made the entire ceremony that much more special and memorable. what a group! i highly recommend this band to play at any event, especially weddings. please thank mr. young and the band members. we will forever sing their praises and we will never forget the energy, passion, fun, and total class they brought to all of us on one of the best days of our lives! god they were good! gregory m. and judy k. smith
