I am not speaking metaphorically, she literally walked into traffic on 1st Ave in Seattle, dodging cars frogger-style, to get the right shot of us in front of our hotel. And that photo was amazing. We have taken photos with another photographer before, and the experience with Arlene was so much better. She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and the photos just look so natural and are stunning. Arlene has an amazing eye and captured the most important day of our lives perfectly. er to everyone I know, for wedding photos, family photos--all of it! Not only is she UBER-talented, so organized and insanely fantastic at her work, she’s hilarious and super fun to be around, we just adore her! I’ve been in several weddings where the photographer is like a quiet mouse, and taking group shots is awkward and painful. So, I really wanted to find a photographer that was not only amazing at getting beautiful shots, but also funny and outgoing. Someone who my friends would feel at ease with and just be themselves. Arlene is the best of all worlds. Almost our entire wedding party (girls and guys) came up to me throughout the night and the day after the wedding to say how much they liked our photographer. And I thought to myself, “Yup!” Arlene more than nailed our engagement photos. I couldn’t believe how natural they looked, especially considering how awkward posing for those shoots can be. She caught the perfect in between moments that made the compositions look relaxed and effortless. I don’t know how she does it, but every shot was a winner. Oh and she had them back to us in less than a week. That NEVER happens in real life, in fact, I know many friends who didn’t get their photos back for 6 months! Her wedding photos were equally amazing. We are so, so, so happy with them. She is a true artist, everything about her work is breathtaking and memorable, from the color, to the lighting, to the compositions, all of her photos stand out above the rest. And she goes above and beyond in so many ways. She walked our wedding venue with me beforehand to get a lay of the land, but then also went back on her own time to see how the sunset lighting hit the venue. She sends you little surprises along the way and packages up your photos so beautifully, it feels like Christmas when you get them! She’s a gem! Everyone would be so headache-free and so very stoked with their end product if they hired Arlene!

te ability to turn an awkward moment into a work of art. Some of my favorite photos come from when my husband and I were set up in poses that felt totally unnatural. We would just burst out laughing half the time at the awkwardness and how we both thought that there was no way we could actually look good. Arlene was right there to capture the real us. After looking back at the photos of the “awkward” moments it is clear that Arlene can see so much more than the average person can see. Our engagement and wedding photos are such an accurate testament of who my husband and I are as a couple. I would go as far as to say that if you didn’t know us, the photos could tell an accurate story of our personalities, values and our love for each other and everyone around us. This is why I think Arlene is so great at what she does. She walks into a room and makes everyone immediately feel comfortable with her infectious personality and amazing sense of humor. She is real. She is fun. She is kind hearted. She is hilarious. She married Bob, who is also equally awesome. She is an artist. Trust the process and you will not be disappointed in her work. Our wedding day was in early January. It was clear outside, but it was COLD. We did the majority of our photos outside and all I wanted to do was go inside and be warm. I am so glad that I trusted Arlene enough to know that the cold was worth it and that I would not be disappointed in any of her work. Our photos speak for themselves and are worth every penny we paid. Photography is a tremendous investment and I am so glad that we put a premium on it. Photos are the only worthwhile thing you will physically take away from your big day. Yes, that means I recommend spending more on it than you spend on your dress! it is hard to pick your favorites because there are so many. Arlene is super flexible, great communicator and totally works with your budget and needs creating packages that fit your budget best! I was able to have a engagement session as well as all day photography for my wedding. Some photographers charge per hour, Arlene is there with you the whole time! You don't have to worry about asking her what you want, she already knows and will direct you and your groom or bridal party for different pictures! She is so very fun to work with, you instantly feel comfortable with her. Definitely would reccommend her to anyone looking for a photographer! She also does family portraits, newborns, and a variety of bridal photo needs!

I wanted to work with someone that would give us all of our pictures on CD and the rights to the images for our own printing, they needed to use touch up software to perfect images, and they needed to be willing to stay the entire day... and all for a reasonable price. Arlene and her husband/business partner, Bob, arrived at 10:30am and stayed until 11:00pm when we left. I had numerous people ask me where I found her as she was so professional, very artistic, creative, and really a lot of fun. I had a HUGE wedding party that needed to be wrangled in for pictures, and she had a way of getting things done in a timely manner and even had names down into the evening. She's great at telling you poses to try and capturing your personalities. I wanted pictures that weren't JC Penny portraits, nor super artistic where you see the background more then you see the people... but instead great pictures of individuals that happen to be in a beautiful setting. My sister has already booked her for her wedding in the spring. Arlene isn't afraid to get dirty, jump into a planter box to capture the right angle, or run around gathering people for great poses. She is a true professional and up and coming photographer. I thank God we found her before she's so popular we couldn't book her. This will be one gal you'll be happy you hired, and even happier that your pictures will be better then any other wedding you've seen! :) After telling friends all we received in our wedding package for the price we paid, they were all shocked and impressed. You've got to love a professional that is great at what they do and also a pleasure to be around. We are SO thankful to have found Arlene Chambers Photography!
