Situated in De Soto, MO, Arlington Event Center is a historic venue where couples can host the wedding of their dreams. The spacious building features both indoor and outdoor spaces that can be used for the sweethearts' “I dos" and their celebrations. The team is enthusiastic about seeing your ideas come to life and strive to be as accommodating as they can be.
Arlington Event Center was originally constructed in 1860 as a hotel for the railroad, which adds to the overall historic charm of the building. Throughout the center, antique details and ornate decor add to this ambience. The event spaces themselves are neutral and elegant, featuring classic architectural elements such as hardwood flooring, crown molding, and more. The hotel is situated in De Soto which is less than an hour’s drive from St. Louis. This makes the event center’s location more easily accessible to those in the larger St. Louis-metropolitan area.
A number of events can be held at Arlington Event Center in addition to the wedding. This includes engagement parties, showers, pre-wedding parties, rehearsal dinners, and more. Before swapping vows, couples can prepare for the big day in one of the get-ready rooms. Then, for dancing and dining couples can choose between indoor and outdoor spaces. Outside in the large courtyard, the pavilion provides an ideal setting for festivities to take place. Planning services are provided to make orchestrating the event more straightforward. Other services include but are not limited to catering, beverages, setup, and decorating, all intended to help make the couples' wedding ideas become a reality. A selection of rentals, such as linens and table runners, are also available. After the big day, the special couple and guests can stay the night in the overnight accommodation.

o the wedding. Come wedding weekend, she was amazing in providing huge flexibility, help with set up, and helping everything run smooth. The open bar service was great for our guests but the food was even better!! So many compliments we received about the venues food. Some of the best wedding food I have ever had. What’s special is Tammie does the cooking, so everything tastes homemade. The bacon wrapped tenderloin was our favorite. The hotel rooms on the upper level of the venue provide a perfect place to stay for the weekend. It was so convenient to have the rooms upstairs, we decided to just rent the whole weekend so we could stay the night before, get ready there, and had our bridal party stay the night of the wedding.
The antique/historical vibe the venue gives off is beautiful, there are some great old pictures, information, and even old marriage licenses in the bridal suite! This was a unique experience for most of our guests and everyone seemed to really enjoy the history that came with the building. Not to mention, the architecture appears all original or updated with the original in mind!
The grounds outside are kept beautifully and they were the perfect place for both the ceremony and reception with dinner inside.
This venue is perfect for couples looking for something budget friendly that allows flexibility while providing wonderful accommodations and service.
I would HIGHLY recommend The Arlington for ANY event. The level of service you will get from Tammie is top tier and the experience was amazing for not only us, but also all of our guests.

till being friendly. The venue has a vintage charm to it that my guests adored. We also used them for our catering, and I have not stopped receiving compliments on the dinner my guests had. We spend the night the Friday before and Saturday of our wedding, and the bridal suite was so cute along with the other rooms on the second floor. If you want a wedding that is different then everyone else’s that look the same, this is your place! They also asked us if we had any special liquor we wanted and made sure to have it at the bar. It was seriously perfect.
