I got married here this fall. When it came down to it, the day went very well, however, leading up to was a struggle. Elizabeth, the innkeeper, was challenging to work with. She wa...
s unresponsive to e-mails and when I would follow up with calls, she seemed disinterested and annoyed. Her attitude remained this way throughout the whole process and was even apparent to our guests and wedding party who found her cold and unhelpful. On the day of, everything was done last minute, which made it difficult for me to relax and focus on getting ready. In addition, in the end, the food bill was much higher than anticipated. The rest of the staff and the innkeeper's husband were very friendly and helpful, and were the reason the day went so well. I'm not saying don't get married here, but if you do, be ready for a difficult planning process.
The Arlington Inn made my special day everything I had always dreamed it would be! The grounds are beautiful, the food is amazing, and the staff are helpful and friendly.
