Celebrate your special day on a unique piece of history in Halifax, PA! In 1769, Robert Armstrong established Gobatsburg Farm with 200 acres of land gifted to him from the Penns. The property was later transferred to his daughter. Today, approximately 100 acres remain and contain the 20 acres of vines which are now part of Armstrong Valley Winery. The original stone farmhouse, barn, and other various outbuildings remain and are a part of the beautifully restored property. Armstrong Valley Winery produces award winning estate wines which will add to the elegant romance of your celebration. Our facility offers an incredible one-stop location for the couple; prepare for the special moments in the Summer Kitchen or Granary which can double as overnight accommodations, walk down the aisle in the impeccably landscaped courtyard, and raise a celebratory glass in a hidden piece of luxury in Halifax, PA. Absolutely GORGEOUS venue. Sue is an amazing coordinator and she knows exactly what she’s doing!! We had about 125 guests and we fit perfectly. The getting ready houses are spacious and we had a great time. Our ceremony outdoors did have a back up plan for rain! Also a great value. Is on the cheaper end for venues!! Overall, highly recommended!!!

The venue was amazing. It was beautiful and didnt ask for a lot of decor because it was so genuine. Our guests were impressed and thought we paid 10s of thousands of dollars for our wedding when in reality we spent way less than we bargained for. The simplicity of this place is absolutely stunning. The fuest houses on site helped the bridal party with storage of decor and the bridesmaids stayed on location the night prior and didnt have to drag their things from place to place. We couldnt have asked for a better place to get married.

We had a beautiful May wedding at Armstrong Valley Vineyard & Winery! The in-house wedding coordinator made sure the day went smoothly. The grounds were absolutely gorgeous and pricing was reasonable. I appreciated their effective communication during the wedding planning process and the wine of course is incredible. I cannot say enough good things about this venue. This place will forever be a special place for my family!

Everyone at AVW is extremely nice, accomodating and SO helpful! No matter how many times I emailed or called with questions they never made me feel like i was annoying them! Beautiful grounds for a wedding or bridal/baby shower!

The vineyard and barn is absolutely beautiful. Our wedding was perfect and our guest loved the venue. Very reasonable and have the option to have your ceremony inside or outside was a plus. They provided houses to get ready in and gave us the grounds for the entire day.

The venue was more than big enough for our party of less than 80, and it can fit up to 150 people! Our wedding took up less than half the space so we had more than enough space for dancing and mingling. Everything was set up for us, and we had the venue for the whole day to decorate, set up, and break down. The whole day went smoothly, and the staff is super nice!

This place is absolutely gorgeous! There are many events held here and the wine is on site and the owners are very accommodating. A very recommended place for any event!
