Arrowhead Hill at The Lakota by Walters Wedding Estates

Arrowhead Hill is a wonderful venue and Brittney was awesome to work with. She was very knowledgeable and made the process super easy.

We originally booked this venue under previous ownership so we were a little nervous after it sold. However, Anna Kate with Walters Estates made the transition so easy for us! She was timely with all responses, worked well with my coordinator and vendors, and even was in the bridal room with me as I was about to walk down the isle. The venue's beauty speaks for itself and was complimented by all of our guests, but the kindness from Anna Kate truly helped me throughout the stresses of wedding planning! We are forever grateful to have Arrowhead as our venue!

This is the BEST WEDDING VENUE! The venue property is amazing! The cottages onsite are perfect for family and wedding party to stay! Anna Kate did amazing and made sure everything was perfect!

My fiancé and I are getting married here in a couple of weeks. The venue is amazing with the chapel, cocktail hour tent and reception hall all next to each other. Our coordinator,Anna has been a pleasure to work with. She is quick to respond to questions and has been helpful in making sure our vision for our wedding comes to life.

My fiancé and I are getting married here in April and everyone has been so helpful in the planning process. Being able to utilize top tier in house vendors has really helped reduce the stress of the process. We love that there are cottages on site and the venue flows so well between the event spaces which eliminates any fears I had about weather! Our planner has been Anna Kate and she has been very responsive with any questions I send and helped guide me on planning tips that she has seen be successful! We can’t wait to get married here!!

10/10 The most gorgeous wedding venue in the Houston area. It is on the pricier side but it was so worth it! The owners are the sweetest people and will do anything/everything for their couples. They were so helpful and always answered all our questions in a timely manner. The property is beautiful and well maintained. We stayed in the cottages all weekend and it was so convenient to be right on the property. Could not recommend this venue more!

This venue is beautiful! My husband and I instantly found our perfect match after touring the venue. Donna and John were so helpful throughout the planning process. They answered every question and assisted to make sure that we had everything that we needed. The venue has a separate chapel where we held our ceremony, but they also have options for an outdoor ceremony if desired. Donna and John made sure that the layout was set to my specifications and used a contracted bar service, so we didn’t need to find a bar vendor. Donna and John made us feel like family and were so welcoming. They always responded to my emails and texts within a timely manner, and I never worried about not being able to reach them if needed. The venue was everything that we could have asked for and much more. I would highly recommend them if you’re looking for a barn venue with a bright atmosphere and amazing staff!

Donna and John made us feel like family from the moment we toured Arrowhead Hill! It was an easy choice to book this venue for our wedding. They have thought out every detail possible in order to make this venue perfect for the big day. The chapel, the gathering, and both bridal and groom's suites were so amazing and exceeded our expectations. Also, the on site cottages are a must! It made our wedding weekend so enjoyable and allowed us to spend the maximum time with our family and close friends. Cannot thank them enough for a perfect space and experience!

There are not enough positive things that I could say about Arrowhead Hill. This venue is stunning and provides the best overall wedding weekend experience of any venue in the Houston area. My husband and I were in a unique position where basically all of our wedding guests would be travelling from out of state--including our wedding party. So we knew that weekend accommodations were very important to us. Arrowhead Hill has the perfect answer for that--the cottages! The cottages are fabulous and the perfect accommodation for wedding party/family to ensure the best wedding weekend. The venue has so much to offer. Between the chapel, the gathering, and the tent-covered lawn area, there is so much flexibility in the planning process to make your event your own. We used the chapel for the ceremony, the tent-covered lawn for cocktail hour, and the gathering for our reception, and it was just perfect. And despite having a late August wedding date, the cocktail hour was not too hot for our guests thanks to the tent and the surprisingly refreshing breeze in the evenings. For my husband and I and our families, we got more compliments on the venue than anything else. I cannot tell you how many people approached us saying that this was the most impressive wedding venue they have ever seen. It truly is a stunner, and pictures don't even do it justice. Finally, and probably most importantly, the owners/family that run the show at AHH are the best people and the kind of people you hope you're lucky enough to go through the wedding planning process with. Donna and her family are so genuine, and they truly want all of their couples to have the best experience. Wedding planning certainly can be stressful, but there is no reason that you shouldnt enjoy the wedding planning process, and working with people like Donna made it so enjoyable for myself and my family. We cannot recommend this venue enough. Truly our fairytale day.

This venue is absolutely stunning! We booked them for our wedding and we were so happy from the very beginning. Donna and John treated us like family right off the bat and took care of everything we could have possibly needed and more. They have everything you need or could want: the chapel is gorgeous and we loved being able to ring the bell, the barn is beautiful and they have games for the outdoor space, the cottages are perfect for the wedding party to stay in and there is a fire pit for after reception hangouts! Really, everything was stunning and you could tell they went the extra mile in every aspect. We are so happy we were able to get married here with everything going on and they were very accommodating and easy to work with.

This venue is stunning. It was the first venue we visited and immediately fell in love with the property and the owners, even though it was still in the construction phase and not even completed. We ended up checking out about six more venues just to make sure but knew from the first visit that arrowhead was the one! A lot of thought was poured into every detail and everyone (guest/vendors) were equally impressed! We stayed in the cabins for the weekend and it was just so nice to have everything on one property and get a “destination vibe” while still being local. Everything was immaculate, and Donna (one of the owners) was even wiping down the siding on the reception hall the morning of our wedding. You can definitely tell how much this family has invested and the love they have for this place.

I don't even know where to begin. This venue is so beautiful and the entire team is just amazing. From the very beginning when the property was still under construction, the Whittleman family were so welcoming and accommodating. From the initial tour, I could just picture their vision for everything. We loved seeing the progress during construction and were just amazed at the finish product. As we got closer to our wedding, the AH team was so easy to work with and responsive to all of my questions [and I had a lot since I am just a type-A person]. They made us feel at such ease, even during the uncertain times. The venue was just so perfect and the best backdrop for our entire wedding. Every design detail is very thoughtful and it was effortless to bring our wedding design to life. We were so happy with our selection of venue and would do it all over again at Arrowhead Hill.

This was an amazing experience from beginning to end. Not only is Arrowhead Hill a beautiful venue, but Donna and her family did everything possible to make our daughters’ wedding all she had dreamed! Our guests loved the wedding, the property and could not say enough about their magical experience. The lay out of the chapel, reception area and the gorgeous grounds make for a seamless transition from wedding, cocktail hour, to reception. The design of the bridal suite was well thought out and even with 10 bridesmaids there was plenty of room to enjoy the process of getting ready in a spacious, relaxing environment. Thank you again Arrowhead Hill for going the extra mile and making what could have been stressful, a joyful experience!!

Whoooo~ I don't even know where to begin. My husband (woohoo!) & I came to visit Arrowhead Hill during the very beginning stages of the venue being built. Donna, Courtney, & Jessie drove us around in a golf cart explaining the vision that they had for each part of the venue from the chapel, gathering area, and cabins with so much passion, and love it was so easy for us to see their vision clearly and we had such a blast looking at their beautiful property and the floor plans. When Arrowhead was completely finished being built, we came out to take a look, & IT WAS BREATHTAKING!! The whole venue is so well thought out and visually pleasing. If you're a person that loves the fine details and are a fan of anthropologie, westelm, and CB2 then this is the place for you!!! The venue has the right amount of elegance that is comfortable to be in. The family in itself is a big reason why you should book this venue. They will treat you like family. I cannot thank Donna and her beautiful family enough for walking us through this whole process, especially with the whole pandemic. They will bring you comfort and all the reassurance you need. They will work with you and make sure your day is perfect. Our wedding was so dreamy to the point I could not believe that was our wedding. It was truly a special day and beautiful beyond words. There was no point in the day where I was stressed at all because Donna and her family made sure of it. Also Jessie's bar package/ service!! You gotta do it! We got the premium beer and wine package along with margaritas and it was one of the best decisions ever! First off, the wine and margarita was served in beautiful glassware along with beautiful garnishing. & the service was spot on!!! Jessie and her team will work with you and be honest on what you'll need for your guests & to make sure your day is well hydrated :). My family and friends keep raving about the beautiful venue and cabins! It was so easy transitioning from the ceremony to the reception, and then to the cabins. If you're debating on the cabins, DO IT. I loved waking up to the beautiful view along with my family and friends the following morning debriefing about the wedding day and not being stressed about driving anywhere. So much love for the Arrowhead Family!!! Cannot wait to come back and visit ya'll :) Mr & Mrs Chen

As if the property and venue isn't GORGEOUS enough (already), the family just puts the icing on top. Y'all we fell in love with Donna, John and Courtney. We spent 2 hours out there with them for our initial tour, they were such a joy to talk with and get to talk about their vision. The details this venue has are beyond words- it's so dreamy!!! They made the process of committing on a venue that isn't quite complete, so comforting. We cannot wait to have our wedding here!
