Art in Motion Productions offers a Wedding Introductory Special, which includes a fifteen minute consultation, as well as a 45-minute class guiding you through different options for your first dance. Then, you and your instructor will design a program tailored to your needs. Whether you just want to feel comfortable on the floor, or are hoping to put on a TV-worthy performance, we are here to help you achieve those goals.
In addition to your first dance, the Wedding Introductory Special is also available for mother-son, father-daughter, and wedding party routines. With their extensive dance experience, your certified instructor promises to make your lessons both fun and informative. Owner
A ballroom and Latin instructor, choreographer, and former competitor, Kristen founded Art In Motion in 2013. She has found it to be an honor and a privilege to help dancers achieve their dreams, and to bring the art of dance into the lives of her students and community. Though she has performed in venues as large at the Metlife Stadium and competed internationally, she takes the most pride in the production of Trip the Light Fantastic, a professional and pro-am ballroom stage performance.

Kristen was beyond amazing! I found her through the Knot and immediately chose her to choreograph our first dance for our wedding. She was very responsive to our messages and was flexible with mine and my husband’s schedule. We loved that she offered multiple locations that were both close to our home. Kristen is extremely talented. My husband and I felt comfortable throughout the entire process. She made learning how to dance fun, easy, and exciting! She was very encouraging and supportive! My husband and I loved working with Kristen! She made our lessons so much fun and we really appreciated how she explained every move. Kristen would take the time to educate us and make us feel confident about our first dance! We had about 11 lessons before our wedding, and we felt so prepared. I can not recommend Kristen enough. My fiancé and I are awful dancers and had zero idea what to do with our first dance. Kristen literally thought us everything we needed to have complete confidence in front of all our friends and family!!
From basics side to side steps, to a dip, she displayed patience for our ignorance and excitement when we finally nailed our moves!! We are eternally grateful for all her time and efforts!!

I was excited about my daughter's big day but DREADING the obligatory father-daughter dance. I don't dance. I didn't want to let her down or embarrass myself, so I halfheartedly agreed to dance lessons. I have to be honest, I wasn't expecting much to come of them, so I was really surprised by how much fun I had! Not only did Kristen get me moving and looking good -I had a great time doing it. Lessons turned out to be a special time for just myself and my "little girl". I actually looked forward to going to each class. I was bummed that it came to an end, so I asked my wife if she would like to take lessons me. Now it's our time together!
Thanks Kristen -for the fun lessons that you made so easy even I could do it, and for our very successful father-daughter dance! We got lots of compliments!

Kristen is amazing. I was very nervous being an adult taking a dance class for the first time but Kristen made me feel at ease and comfortable with learning more about dance and my body. You won't be able to find a better instructor who takes the time and effort to teach the art of dancing for all levels of experience. I have been taking classes with Kristin for about 10 years and it has changed my life. She takes me seriously as an adult dance student. She encourages and motivates me to become the best dancer I can be with clean dance technique and professional dance instruction. She has endless patience, and is willing to work with you irrespective of your skill-level/knowledge. I'm very pleased with the progress we've made within the first couple of classes with her. Kristen was such a joy to work with! She choreographed our father-daughter dance for my wedding and made both of us feel completely at ease! We were nervous at first, as neither of us are "good" dancers by any means, but Kristen broke down each step and made it easy for us to learn. She made us feel confident and was always uplifting and encouraging even when we made mistakes. She truly cares about her clients and made me feel like a beautiful dancer on my wedding day. We have used Art in Motion and Kristen has been great. We started because we had a ton of wedding and we wanted to learn a few dances for the many weddings we went to last year and are continuing our dance instruction because we enjoyed it so much. She is incredibly patient and non judgmental no matter how many times you screw up :). It is a very relaxed atmosphere and she doesn’t push you to sign up for long term packages or a million lessons. She listens to what you want to get out of your instruction and runs it that way. I would totally recommend her for your special event. You will be in good hands
