I am giving them two stars (when I wanted to put one) because I think I was a person stuck in a bad place at a bad time. It has been over a year since my wedding, but they did ruin it! At first I was head over heels for this place! Perfectly reasonable F&B minimum, great food, lovely drinks, and best of all, they had games! Charming and beautiful, I loved this place. I actually hosted two other events here. But when it came time for my wedding, ALL the shit hit the fan. The wonderful person I had been working/planning with for over a year at the venue, suddenly quite a week before my wedding. I did my best to communicate with the new venue manager, but come the day of it was null and void. It was in the middle of August and they REFUSED to turn on the AC till it was time to start the ceremony. Allowing the room to be in the 90s! People were absolutely miserable! All Because they didn't want people to be in the room until it was scheduled to start. It did not become comfortable till the late evening. Our $2,000 Bar tab somehow ran out within 1 hour! (only 130 guests 1/3 did not drink) The food was great but was not the food we ordered, and it was not made by them! THEN because of a contract miscommunication on their end, we were kicked out an hour early, Oh and this was told to me right in the middle of the wedding. NOT BEFORE!! AND finally, when it came down to the bill it was 2,500 over what we had agreed apon.
