lly, I had planned to do my own makeup, but realized more and more that this was probably not the best idea, considering I knew next to nothing about it, lol. While debating, I happened to see a post from Cynthia on Facebook saying that she suddenly had an opening on September 12 - our wedding date. I took it as fate, reached out to ask about pricing (way more affordable than I expected for the quality work I had seen), and 10 minutes later I had a MUA booked. I was able to schedule a makeup trial, but due to covid had to reschedule last minute, and she was incredibly accommodating. The wait was worth it - my makeup was STUNNING. I couldn't believe how incredibly skilled she was. Not only that, she was amazing to talk to and I just had such a fun experience that I knew she would knock it out of the park on wedding day. For our wedding, Cynthia did the makeup for all of my bridesmaids as well, and everyone looked absolutely amazing. We had one bridesmaid who requested to use only her own makeup, which she immediately accommodated. After finishing all of the bridesmaids, she had some extra time and kindly offered to do my mother's makeup as well. She also provided me with a mini emergency makeup kit the day of, which included everything I could possibly need for touch ups or any other issues. I can't say enough good things about Cynthia, she is the absolute best makeup artist and person to have with you on your wedding. I highly highly recommend hiring her!!

The night before my engagement photos, my original makeup artist cancelled on me very last minute. I was frantically googling other artists in the area and came across Cynthia. She was able to come to my house 12 HOURS LATER to get my makeup done for the photos. For that, I am truly grateful. The morning of my wedding, my hair stylist was sick in the hospital. Cynthia found another stylist and had everything sorted out before I even woke up. She is not only an incredible artist, but an incredible human. Once you meet her, you will not want anyone else to do your makeup.

As the process went on, her professionalism and talent won over the bride of the wedding, who had already booked with another artist. Her process for booking is very simple and made my best friend feel reassured that everything would be perfect for her wedding day. She was so kind to work around my scheduling, asked for pictures of inspiration for the looks all the bridesmaids wanted to achieve, as well as our favorite pictures of ourselves so that she could plan our looks ahead of the big day. The day of the wedding, she arrived with her assistant 15 minutes previous to the call time to set up and had the first person in her chair 5:00am sharp, as planned. Everyone looked Stunning that day and were just as excited to see her later in the day for the reception. By that point, we had doubled the amount of people that were supposed to have makeup done because EVERYONE wanted her to do their makeup! She was so accommodating on short notice, bringing two assistants for all 19 of us! I absolutely will not go to anyone else to get my makeup done and am so happy we booked over a year in advance. If you are looking for a highly skilled professional makeup artist who has even done celebrities (it shows!) then book Cynthia! Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience!

results were close enough. Cynthia, on the other hand, would make you look better than the picture you came in with. I had asked for a look before with a five star Los Angeles makeup artist, and the results were disappointing. I immediately thought the reason it didn't turn out well was because of my face shape and features.. So, here we were, morning of the wedding. I asked Cynthia for a simple makeup look, based on my last experience. Cynthia inspected my face from different angles and then suggested the exact look I had been going for all along. I shared with her my past experience and she said that the other makeup artist probably didn't know how to execute it to make it look the way I wanted. She REASSURED ME that she would make it happen. I crossed my fingers and next thing you know, I'm looking into the mirror looking FLAWLESS!! At that moment, I just knew that Cynthia is on a different level. She was able to achieve the difficult look that the other "five star" wedding artist couldn't create. I couldn't have been happier with what Cynthia did. I never really wear much make up, and my skin is very sensitive to a lot of products, so naturally I was a tad bit concerned. But my skin never reacted to the makeup and I was comfortable that whole day. My makeup had the PERFECT BALANCE- glam enough for such a big occasion but natural enough that it was still me. It had the PERFECT AMOUNT that didn't make me look like I was caked with makeup, yet it was bold enough that it captured well in photos. My makeup STAYED PUT the entire day. Cynthia was THOUGHTFUL; she gave me some touch up makeup to reapply when needed, but I didn't even have to use it. Leave it to the experts! :-) Everyone at the wedding asked me who my makeup artist was. Even people who weren't invited to the wedding saw pics online and emailed me to ask who did my makeup! Bottom line is that Cynthia is EXTREMELY SKILLED AND TALENTED. She knows her stuff!! She won't just try to meet expectations (and it's hard to meet the expectations of brides), she will go ABOVE AND BEYOND. She took into consideration what I said I liked and gave me her advice and vision. The results BLEW ME AWAY. Oh, and did I mention I was having a panic attack before she walked in? Cynthia put me at ease immediately. I had such a FUN AND RELAXING morning getting ready with her and my bridesmaids. My wedding makeup was so on point- I can't emphasize it enough. She is seriously the best. If you don't believe me, leave it to the stats: Cynthia has been the chosen artist of my celebrity clients. On the day of our wedding, Cynthia and her team showed up at the hotel on time and got to work on my 8 bridesmaids and myself.
