I went to Arthur Murray for a father-daughter dance lesson with my Dad, and we did have a nice time taking dance lessons. That being said, I feel it's important to warn anyone going there that the first lesson is basically just there to sell you on buying more lessons. So while we enjoyed learning some new moves, I was very disappointed and put off by the highly sales-focused environment.

The staff is very personable and professional, I came to take a few lessons to get me through an audition for a musical but stayed and changed my life. Improve your health, balance and appearance while learning an art you must experience. Teachers are prepared to handle you as a single (like me) or as a couple. Private lessons, group classes and performance events will keep you as busy as you want to be.

If you’ve ever thought about taking Ballroom Dance lessons, you should come to Arthur Murray Lincolnshire. I’ve been dancing there for seven years and it’s fabulous! Great instructors who team teach in a very systematic, organized way, but with a lot of fun events to participate in. Everyone is friendly and welcoming (both the instructors and the other students) and we all feel that’s it’s our home away from home. Learn to waltz, foxtrot, tango, swing, cha cha and rumba as well as other dances: argentine tango, milonga, bolero, lindy, merengue, bachata, salsa, samba, etc. Enjoy group classes as well as private lessons. Come in for a free introductory lesson or first come to a guest party where you can get a small taste of dancing and see student and professional performances. I consider it the best gift I ever gave myself. Lots of couples (and their parents) come to prep a great dance for their reception.
