igh school and college. He agreed, but on the condition that we take dance lessons because he hadn't done swing dancing before, and by his own admission, he had two left feet. When we walked into Arthur Murray, we didn't know what to expect, but they were immediately willing to help us out. They asked us how choreographed we wanted the dance to be (none, we just wanted a dip at the end), what song we had in mind and if we needed help editing it. Not only did they teach both of us how to swing dance, but they taught us the basics of other dances like merengue, bachata and foxtrot, just in case. We ended up getting a ton of compliments on our first dance, and our dip was executed perfectly! In all honesty, we ended up loving the community we found at Arthur Murray so much (shout out to our instructors Cassandra and Miguel!!), that we couldn't imagine not continuing to dance with them after our wedding was over. Plus, everyone who dances there is so welcoming and supportive! My husband and I both love going to dance together - it's a nice couple time during the week. :)
