Some of the many dances they offer include the Tango, Rumba, Jitterbug, and Viennese Waltz.
During your first lesson, the team at Arthur Murray Dance Center will introduce you to some of their more popular romantic dances. They will work closely with you, to help you decide what genre and difficulty level work best with you and your partner. Along with their personal list of tunes, you can also design your choreography around songs that have a personal importance to you and your partner. looking into dance lessons at first because we were worried, as two non dancers, that it wouldn’t be much fun. Our main instructor was Rachel, and she made sure our lessons were nothing but fun! Rachel and the whole team were very down to earth and talked to you like a friend; there was no judgement or frustration ever. We very much looked forward to our lessons every other week and were actually really upset when the wedding week approached and our lessons ended. We had so much fun on our wedding day. We would without a doubt take lessons there again! We may not have gotten all of our steps correct day of, but the confidence and the fun that we had was all that mattered and that was all thanks to Rachel and the team at Arthur Murray!

we attended private lessons and did a fully choreographed dance to the song of our choice. We worked with Rachel, who fit the styles of dance we liked into the song and even timed some of our moves to match the lyrics of the song. We also attended lots of group classes outside of our normal lessons which was a great way for us to meet other people and couples in the Pittsburgh area. We enjoyed working with all the instructors during group classes. We were a bit hesitant and nervous about dancing in front of and with other people, but they all made it a fun and relaxing. Our wedding dance turned out better than we could imagine, and we had so much fun during the process we continued lessons after our wedding. We have been able to use what we've learned at Arthur Murray at our friend's weddings, vacations and on our honeymoon. Dancing was the most fun activity we did as part of our wedding planning, and it made for a great date night each week!

s. For our wedding we wanted it to be a complete surprise to all of our guests that we were taking dance lessons and would have a special first dance. We signed up for the 10 dance lesson package with Arthur Murray which was the perfect amount of time needed. Our instructor Aaron was absolutely awesome and created beautiful choreographer that had everthing from spins and turns to dips! He taught us an AMAZING first dance and we had so much fun learning it! We were so excited to surprise everyone, and saying they were stunned is an understatement. It was the talk of the night about how much everyone LOVED it! erts who drew us in immediately. Carlos, Chris, Mikayla, and every one of the instructors are incredible at what they do and pass their love for dance and excitement right along to their pupils. What started as "something to check off of our list of wedding planning to-dos" quickly turned into something my fiance and I found we have a true passion. We plan to continue lessons with Arthur Murray following our wedding, and could not recommend this location and these instructors enough to any couple intending on learning an incredible first dance and having a fun and stress-free time while doing so.

because the staff is fantastic! Mikayla is our instructor for our private lessons and she is awesome! I have not danced before and she makes it easy! If we don’t understand something she finds different ways of explaining it so that we can get on the same page! Everyone (instructors and other members) we have come in contact with has been super nice and welcoming us too when we were able to attend the group parties! We can’t wait to come back after the stress of the wedding is over! Overall the studio is super clean and spacious and we highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for wedding lessons, choreography, or even just for a new hobby!
