ceived access to group dance sessions where we could further practice our dance skills with other students. We could not be more happy with our choice to book with Arthur Murray Cypress. Pono and Heidi (the owners) are excellent instructors and we learned so much with them. We primarily worked with Pono for our lessons and he is so patient and kind and an excellent teacher. He really knows how to simplify things for someone who had no idea how to dance (me). We had Heidi for our last dance lesson due to us having to reschedule (something they were kind enough to be flexible for us despite it being on our end) and she was equally as amazing! While we did not work with the other dance instructor Jackie 1:1, we did receive instruction from her during the group dance sessions and she was just as kind and knowledgeable as Pono and Heidi so I am sure you are in good hands regardless of who is teaching you! I also just wanted to note that the other students are SO kind. They helped us so much during the group dance sessions even though I had very little knowledge of so many different dance types. We learned a lot from them. I also wanted to make a quick note about pricing. We are a young couple and do not have a lot of money. The dance lessons provided are at a much better price than many competitors and I still feel like we learned so much. This is not to mention that this dance studio was one of the few that I saw also include group dance sessions for students in many of their packages which we found VERY helpful as any dancing will help you get better (something Pono says often). Most importantly, Pono and Heidi do NOT push you to buy a package that you cannot afford. Of course dance lessons cost money but they are not in the business of pressuring you to buy a dance package lesson you cannot afford. I really appreciated this about them as I felt they cared for us as students who they wanted to mentor and grow. I have heard horror studios of other dance studios treating their students like a walking paycheck and this studio is NOTHING like that! If you are a couple who wants to learn how to dance for your first dance, a father/daughter or mother/son who wants to learn how to dance for the wedding, or really are anyone who wants to have fun and get better at dancing, I seriously recommend the Cypress Arthur Murray Dance Studio!!!
