Arthur Murray Dance Studio

, mambo, salsa, chacha, foxtrot.... and so many other styles of dances! When we traveled to Nashville we were able to do some of our swing moves in the Honky tonks, we have danced salsa at a hispanic night club, and have gotten lots of compliments at weddings when we dance together on the floor. With our own wedding quickly approaching, we will start to learn a choreographed dance, and I can't wait to show off all of our efforts to family and friends. Not only do I recommend Arthur Murray Davenport for wedding lessons, but for a challenge and date night for you and your fiancé to learn something unique together that you can cherish and build upon for the rest of your lives.

with fear and dread. I signed up with Arthur Murray to take some individual lessons just to gain enough confidence to get me through that first dance without looking SO bad. The instructors were awesome because they made the learning process enjoyable and fun. It was so much fun that after my initial individual lessons were up, I signed up for more lessons to include my bride-to-be who claimed “she already knew how to dance”. Danyelle and Wes worked with us week after week to not only get our first dance routine down, but to learn a variety of dances that we could enjoy for any occasion. The individual lessons were obviously great, but you also get to attend group lessons and “dance parties” where you have the opportunity to dance in the studio among other couples to get comfortable. At one of the parties, we did a recital of our first dance in front of the other students which was our dress rehearsal for the real thing. That really helped us to shake off some nerves and boost our confidence. Our first dance at the wedding went off without a hitch and the guests were very impressed and complimentary. Danyelle and Wes from Arthur Murray truly made our first dance memorable and enjoyable. We also used our newly developed dance skills on our honeymoon. We actually had one couple come up and ask us if we were professional dancers because we looked really good dancing together and were having so much fun doing it. I think that speaks for the results we got from Arthur Murray in itself. We definitely recommend Arthur Murray for dance lessons whether you are getting ready for that first dance at a wedding, or if you just want to learn to dance for fun, or if you think you already know how to dance… they will definitely do an outstanding job of tailoring the lessons to your needs.
