What to expect on your first lesson After answering a few questions about your venue, wardrobe, and the look and feel you’d like to have, you'll be guided through a few basics by one of our highly-trained instructors. You'll start to learn parts of your wedding dance on your very first lesson, and leave with a plan of action between now and your big day. My fiancé and I ended up winning 4 free dance lessons from a bridal brunch raffle drawing, and I cannot express how grateful we both feel for getting the chance to work with Christina and Tyrell on our wedding dance choreography. They really are two of the most genuine, patient, and talented instructors you will ever meet. I noticed another review said that they instantly felt like family when they walked through the doors..well there is no truer statement. Christina choreographed a special first dance for our wedding - tailored to our "very beginner" level (no dancing experience whatsoever), and had us doing dips and spins by the end of the 4 sessions! We are both SO happy with our experience at Arthur Murray Dance Studio, and if it were up to us, they'd win The Knot award EVERY year!!!! Thank you Christina!!! - Ashley & Garrett

My fiancé and I have been working with Christina......I must say, she is super talented, patient and most of all fun! From the first lesson there, we were welcomed with excitement! She has been amazing every step of the way from choreographing our very special waltz, and even doing edits to our song to make it perfect. Do not hesitate to take lessons from her, we are gonna kill our first dance! Because of how much fun we are having , we will most likely continue to take lessons even after the wedding!!!!

Arthur Murray Roxbury was one of the funnest experiences during our wedding planning. From the moment my fiancé and I commenced all the planning, we knew that we wanted to have our first dance be a very memorable one, but did not know where to begin. The minute we had our trial session with Gabby at Arthur Murray we knew she could make this possible for us. She was beyond amazing, helpful and talented, def loved working with her. Because of her, our first dance was the highlight to our reception and it was one of our greatest memories. The whole staff at Arthur Murray Roxbury was truly amazing, friendly and caring. We would have never imagined that our dance lessons would be so fun. Definitely something every couple should experience. xoxo

My husband and I took dance lessons for our wedding reception. Our theme was a masquerade ball so we decided to learn the waltz. We had a great time learning different techniques and steps. Gabby and Ty were amazing teachers!! They made such a lovely dance routine for our special day. Our dance turned out to be absolutely beautiful. The only downside was that my husband and I felt that these dance lessons were too pricy. We ended up exceeding our budget.

Aruthur Murray Roxbury is more than just a studio. When you step through the front door, even if it's just your first time walking in, you are welcomed into a family. My then girlfriend and I joined the studio to share in a fun activity together while learning skills we plan to use for the rest of our lives. We quickly grew very close with everyone in the studio and I got a brilliant idea to propose in the studio! The staff couldn't have been more helpful, supportive or excited to help me out! Everything worked out well for my fiancée and I that night and we are now working towards developing a first dance. You might come in for dance lessons but end up with field days, social dance events, a fiancé and a family bigger than you had when you started! I use Arthur Murray and the Knot too - You use the Knot and now you know what to do!

My fiancé and I came to Arthur Murray before we got engaged and had a beginner lesson. We felt welcome right away and bought a package of lessons. We loved the studio, the staff and of course our new dance moves! My fiancé actually wound up proposing to me at the studio! The group classes, practice sessions and private lessons all add to the value and now we are excited to start working on our first dance! Arthur Murray provides dance lessons with great instructors, fun social events and even an awesome setting for a proposal!!

Arthur Murray Roxbury was the best experience and made our wedding reception amazing. My husband would never dance and after taking lessons we spent our entire wedding on the dance floor and both felt so comfortable dancing and showing off our new moves. Gabby and all of the staff were so friendly, helpful and made the lessons something my husband and I looked forward to every week. Worth every dollar spent!!

My fiance and I wanted to have a special first dance so we decided to take dance lessons. Tyrell is our instructed and he is such a great teacher! We both aren't the best dancers but he makes it so easy to learn and is very patient with us. We love going and learning our routine. Having a teacher who is very patient, kind, and willing to answer questions is so important. We always have a fun time! I would recommend Arthur Murray dance studio to anyone who wants to learn how to dance and have fun doing it.

What a great place! My wife learned our first dance here. I wasn't really up for the idea at first, but once we went and met with everyone, I had a great time! Our dance was awesome and it brought my wife and closer and it was something to do together during our busy, busy schedule. I would highly recommend Arthur Murray to anyone getting married.

My husband and I used Arthur Murray Roxbury/ledgewood for our wedding dance. He wasn't much of a dancer but everyone here made him look great!!! People still talk about our dance, over 2 years later, on how great and memorable it was! I highly recommend going to see everyone at Arthur Murray! What a great and fun experience!

My fiance and I wanted to do a special dance for our reception. Gabby was our instructed and she was wonderful! She choreographed the routine and was so patient with us during the learning process. Everyone at the studio were great. They were always willing to listen to our input, change things around and answer any questions we had. We loved learning our routine so much that we want to keep taking the lessons! I would recommend Arthur Murray dance studio to anyone who wants to learn how to dance and have a great time doing it.

We started going here since we received a gift certificate as a present. After just one lesson, we were already signing up for our pre-bronze coures! The teachers are great and very patient while we stumble through new steps. All the other students are very nice and fun to dance with as well. They're helping us choreograph our first dance and since we started more than a year before our wedding, they're also helping us with other dances so we'll look lovely on our big day!

As a couple who have absolutely no background in dance, my FI and I knew we'd need some instruction for our first dance. We chose Arthur Murray/Roxbury for dance lessons out of convenience (it's so close to home!) and by recommendation from another couple. We're so happy we did! The staff is pleasant and professional. They are as flexible as we could ask them to be in regards to when we schedule appointments. They are extremely patient, and although we don't feel like fast learners, they have us dancing from our first lessons. Although we're also pretty shy, our lovely instructors are patiently feeding our egos so that we leave more confident every week. So much thanks to everyone at Arthur Murray!
