We took classes at the Royal Oak location and had a great experience! Ended up having our first dance choreographed and our guests loved it!! We also just had so much fun taking th...
e classes.
Only way I could see using these guys is through the groupon they sent out for dance packages. We got 2 lessons and a free group lesson for $30. Great deal. However the usual $1...
00 per lesson is just too far out there for what you get in your 35 mins. Sure they say an hour but the talking and the his and good byes you really only get 35 mins of actual dancing.
Deals and offers are given at the store but they are minimal as well, just like the lessons.
For beginners we probably could have gone to a community center and gotten more out of our time there then at this studio.
My husband and I had a tricky first dance song which is why we took lessons. We paid $65 for 45 min. because we walked in on a good special at the time. If there is no special goi...
ng on its a bit pricey.
We visited the one in Bloomfield however it was still amazing! We are still taking classes after the wedding?
My fiance and I printed off a free lesson coupon and went to use it. We have a little bit of experience ballroom dancing, but we felt they did not take any of our prior knowledge ...
into account. Essentially we felt babied and like all we got was a sales pitch for more (very expensive) lessons to get us up to a competitive standard (that we had no desire to get to).
I bought the groupon for our wedding dance classes and they were so helpful. We took our classes the week of our wedding because my husband is in the military and we didn't have an...
y other option. They were helpful picked a dance that went with our song and helped us pull it all together in 2 days. It was a lot of fun working with them and they are pros and can help with anything!~!
We took 8 lessons at Arthur Murray, and our first dance was definitely one to remember! The instructors went out of their way to be sure we had an awesome first dance, including an...
entrance to the dance floor and huge finish! We had confidence and ability after working with these talented instructors, and people were so impressed with our dance!
Our instructor was late every class! We paid a TON for the lessons and were jipped on time and instruction. Careless and lax instructors. Not pleased with service.
I had been begging my husband for years to take classes with me. It only took getting engaged to spark any interest with him. I found this place just driving around and we signed...
up for classes a few days later. We did five private lessons and a few group classes to really get comfortable. We went in with our music choice and they helped us learn a dance that would really work with it. We never choreographed anything really, but learned a dance and all the different moves we could do so that we were both comfortable out there and felt put together. It turned out great and we even had people crying at the end. I think they were instrumental in figuring out what we wanted out of our day, and I am very appreciative to them and all their help.
We took 6 dance lessons & we rocked! It was one of the biggest highlights of our reception! People are still talking about it! We did 2 dances, the Fox Trot & Swing. So much better...
than everyone staring at you when you have no moves or boring your guests! We kept our lessons a secret, my husband wasn't a dancer & is a total "man's man", he did awesome and we REALLY surprised everyone! We had so much fun during the lessons, it can get so hectic right before the wedding that it was great stress reliever & great exercise! It became our time to spend together during such a busy time. The only down fall is it is very expensive! It is something that we would of liked to continue, but way too expensive for us!
