We LOVED our lessons at Arthur Murray in VB for our recent wedding. Andrea helped put together a flawless dance to the song of our choice. It looked very detailed, but was easy for...
us to remember. She added moments in the dance that helped us get the most gorgeous photos. We received SO many compliments from guests on the elegance of our dance. I would recommend this studio to anyone looking for a memorable first dance!
We loved our lessons at Arthur Murray! They were great date night options, and we really felt like we would be great at our first dance. The entire staff is super welcoming and sup...
portive! I wish the lessons were longer each session, but other than that, we love Arthur Murray and can't wait to go back later for our group classes and party!
We are so happy we chose Arthur Murray Dance Studio to prepare for our first dance at our wedding on August 5th 2017. We went for an introductory lesson a few months before our wed...
ding and signed up right after the session. All of the staff there are incredibly friendly and helpful. Our dance instructor, Noah, was amazing! He was very patient with us as we learned all of the moves and gave simple, clear instructions. We were able to repeat our routine many times and focus on improving any mistakes we made. After our block of 6 lessons we were given the opportunity to practice in front of an audience at two of the dance parties. This helped immensely since it meant we had the chance to mess up and get rid of our nerves before we danced in front of our guests! On the big day we didn't make any mistakes and thanks to Noah's instruction we didn't have to resort to the awkward "clutch and sway"!!!
My wife and I started taking lessons in August of 2016. Eric was very patient in working with me from scratch. I had no idea how good of a dancer I could have become had it not b...
een for him. Emily and I are so pleased with their professionalism and sweetness. Taras and Wendy are such wonderful owners. The whole staff makes you feel welcome as soon as you walk through the door.
Well, I bought a Groupon and decided to check out. We have never taken dance lessons before so we were pretty nervous. We had 3 classes in which the first classe was basic then we...
had to practice, second class was moves and third class was overall lessons. We told them what we wanted to do and gave them our song and they were able to teach us something that basically made our first dance exquisite.
Thanks much!
My husband and I both were terrified of our first dance together. We went and tried a free dance class at the studio but both of us left feeling like lessons would be way over our...
heads. Still, we really wanted to do something unique but didn't want to end up like two middle school kids just awkwardly swaying back and forth with family and friends boredly watching and wishing it would just be over...
A few months later, we heard Lindsey Stirling's Crystallize. (It's like a dub-step violin mix-- aka unique.)
We went back to the studio and asked Taras if he thought we could do something or if the expectation was too high. It turns out he's the owner of the studio and loved the idea so much, he personally took us on as students. We only had time to do the 6 lessons plan (1 hr each), but he worked diligently with us to make it all fun and easy to learn. By the time of our wedding, we were excited and confident for our dance. We learned multiple moves and really wow'ed our guests. I'm so glad we did this if for no other reason than the fact we were able to carve out 1 hr a week leading up to the wedding where we got to forget about everything else and just have stress-free fun :) If you can carve out a little piece of your budget for dance lessons, DO IT! You won't regret it :)
