atch – not just the typical awkward sway for two minutes. We didn’t have a plan at first, but after some introductory 'ballroom 101' lessons, we found the dance styles we loved and finally settled on our first dance song. Mikayla took it from there, crafting beautiful choreography tailored to us. The experience quickly became more than just wedding preparation. Our biweekly lessons turned into our favorite nights – 40 minutes of ‘us’ time spent dancing together, breaking up the stress of wedding planning and letting us reconnect in the most fun, meaningful way. Mikayla and the entire Arthur Murray team went above and beyond to make sure we’d impress everyone on the dance floor, both with our first dance and with all the moves we picked up along the way! Our friends and family had endless compliments about our first dance, saying it was one of their favorite parts of our wedding. The Arthur Murray team thought of every detail: they cut the music track to perfection for our DJ, made sure we practiced in the shoes we’d wear, adjusted the choreography to accommodate my dress, and even helped coordinate the best positioning for our photographer to capture those beautiful moments. Thanks to Arthur Murray, our first dance was everything we’d hoped for and more – the perfect blend of elegance and fun, and an experience we'll cherish forever.
