The company's founder, Arthur Murray began teaching dance in 1912 and reached national fame by 1950 with his show The Arthur Murray Party. This television program consisted of himself and his wife Katherine teaching dance to their viewers - the original "Dancing with the Stars". The show ran for 12 years and soon after it ended his patented method sold to eager franchisees. Currently, there are more than 300 dance studios in 27 countries. The method has been successful for over a century and continues to delight each new participant no matter for what they want to use their dancing.

hter had a show stopping dance at the wedding, which was very impressive in particular because for months Tom practiced in Reno while Madeleine took her lesson in San Diego. Each instructor had the music and the choreography, but they studied the dance independently .They practiced only once together the night before the wedding and it came off beautifully. My husband would readily admit he had two left feet when he started dancing. Arthur Murray Reno is a family business, warm and inviting. I never thought that my husband would be willing to stick with it and it makes me incredibly happy and we're having a lot of fun. 10 star place !!!
