Artisan by Santa Barbara Catering

s made our mouths water and the taste is like nothing we’ve ever had before! Every hors d'oeuvre and entree we sampled had outstanding flavor and was displayed beautifully, even as a buffet. The vegetables were fresh and cooked just right, and the tortilla and parmesan crusted chicken breast was to die for! Our guests are STILL texting me saying how much they loved the food we had at the wedding! Not only was the food delicious, but Santa Barbara Catering’s service and attention to detail was second to none. Our tables, linens and decor were laid out exactly as I envisioned. The beautiful colored napkins and fruitwood chairs really classed up our event and made the reception all the more gorgeous. Nobody was ever without food or drink in hand thanks to the fabulous wait staff who was working our event. There was even a gentleman who came all the way out to where we were taking photos with our photographers (which was a several minute walk from the reception) just to bring my groom and I water and hors d'oeuvres to make sure we weren’t getting faint or too hungry to continue. We had the most beautiful, delicious dinner we could possibly have hoped for and we cannot recommend Artisan by Santa Barbara Catering Company enough! If you’re having an upcoming event, you’d be making a huge mistake by not hiring this company!

d not our exact menu, we knew they would be capable of making anything delicious. We did their Arizona Taco Bar for our wedding and it was such a huge hit!

d about, but in the end I was so happy! We had stations with various comfort food (mac and cheese, sliders, pizza, etc.) The food was amazing and I got so many compliments from my guests! Also, the servers were FANTASTIC! Very kind and accommodating.

w that had been to a wedding at the venue talked about how great the food was, and we were a little bummed our tasting was just ok. The actual wedding food - OH MY GOD. Completely different story. Again, all people could talk about was the food! From the bruschetta bar at cocktail hour, to dinner, to the late night pizzas and churros - everything surpassed our expectations. We most definitely would recommend this caterer!

serve the highest quality ingredients. The staff was super accommodating and went out of their way to make sure our event was exactly the way we had imagined. If you are looking for a caterer, Santa Barbara catering company is the right choice. They will make your wedding better then you could have ever dreamed it to be!

:) ) I would recommend them and also use them for any other parties that I host.

ir food was so delicious and my guests are still commenting on how yummy everything was. I will definitely be referring them to my friends and family.

ng was perfect and I couldn't have asked for anything more.

ering manager who was great throughout the night!

etail, and phenomenal customer service. We would be thrilled to work with you all again for future events!

the food was displayed. All of the food tasted like we were dining in an actual restaurant!!!!! When I get married I will definitely be using them for my catering!

ed that the food was fantastic. Thanks for everything!!

ne couldn't stop compimenting on how great the food was!

asting, but the food on our wedding night blew us and our guests away! It was absolutely incredible, better than I could imagine- so good that I wish I could go "back" and get this meal for dinner again. I really hope I have another event to hire Santa Barbara and serve this dinner for :-)!

. The staff were friendly and professional. Everything looks beautiful and we never had to ask for a thing, the staff was so attentive and wonderful. I absolutely recommend them to anyone who is getting married or hosting an event!

anywhere else. We were so welcomed and pampered there, we made our decision on the spot! We made a decision for the venue early on in the planning process, but lost it due to code problems. Nicole met with me more than once to help resolve and show me other venues she thought could work for us. This was way beyond what you would expect from your caterer! She was such a pleasure to work with. We found a new venue and SB came through all the way! The food was delicious! The service from the Staff we requested( Nate and Evette) was awesome! All of our guests were amazed by the food and service. We had many commenting that when they would get up form their chair , they would come back to find their napkin, folded and draped over their chair back. Hire Santa Barbara Catering, and ask for Nicole Jorgensen! You'll be very happy you did! Thanks to all! Mark and Bob

e choose it was amazing. At the wedding the veggies I choose were not what was served and the stuffed chicken was not good and seemed like it was sitting for a long time or old. It was not fresh tasting like at the tasting but the beef was to die for.

ervice, etc. Everyone was impressed with the quality of the food and raved about how delicious it was. It was however, quite pricey. Be aware that you pay a pretty penny for them and upcharges.

the ceremony in and then find a restaurant to host the brunch afterwards because I did not want to plan all the details that come with a reception (linens, centerpieces, etc.) However, after we toured the Icehouse I was willing to forgo that idea and really plan all the details because I loved the venue that much. I could not picture my wedding day in any other place. The one concern I had was I must choose one of their approved caterers. Once I contacted Lauren Leonard at Santa Barbara Catering I was put at ease and knew I had nothing to worry about. She worked within my budget and was always eager to suggest alternatives when something didn't work with my financial constraints. Even with a smaller budget, I feel I did not have to sacrifice quality of food with Santa Barbara Catering. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Lauren. I would absolutely recommend Santa Barbara Catering! I want to get married all over again just because everything went smoothly and according to plan. I don't think I would be saying this had it not been for Lauren.

set everything up for us, I didn't have to worry about 1 detail because they had it all taken care of. I still have people telling me the food was amazing! My grandpa (who is the pickiest eater) kept going back for more! The price is worth the service.

the case at Santa Barbara. They continually made the food so it was piping hot and perfectly cooked. I worked with Lauren who was great with all of our special needs. We had so many people with allergies, she made sure that there was something for them (even had a special salad for my sister as she could not eat the one I picked).

arbara.

o helped with figuring out the layout of the reception, what rentals I would need, and the reception timeline. She was unbelievably professional and responsive to my many questions throughout the entire process, and was always warm, encouraging, and incredibly knowledgable. I can't imagine the wedding planning process without her! The day of catering staff was equally incredible-- helping with everything from laying out escort cards to getting my now husband and me our dinner plates and drinks the second we sat down for the reception meal. Our guests (meat eaters, vegans, gluten-free friends and everything in-between) raved and raved about the quality of service and the delicious food. Absolutely exceeded every single one of our expectations. Thank you, Santa Barbara Catering, for making our wedding reception such a joy!

etition. They responded to my request and sent several sample menus with pricing. Their per person cost was higher than Fabulous Food, but the total cost was a good $2,000 lower. That's because they don't add on additional fees for labor, setup, etc. Lauren was a joy to work with. She responded to all my questions professionally and in a timely manner. She was patient with me through multiple menu changes. They even let us customize the menu with our own recipes. In the final walkthrough, Lauren thought of several details and clearly had a vision of what needed to happen. She helped brainstorm clever ways to keep rental costs down. I felt like she was on our side throughout the whole process. The tasting we attended was a group tasting at the Tempe Center for the Arts. That meant we didn't get to try the food on our exact menu, but it was a sampling of what they provide. We weren't all that impressed with the tasting--it tasted like pretty standard catering fare--but the food at the actual wedding was amazing. The stuffed chicken breast with spinach and fontina was divine. The presentation was beautiful (see photo of the buffet), and the staff were very accommodating. At the reception my dad and I decided to give the leftovers to Meals on Wheels, and they were happy to make the switch. I am so glad we chose Santa Barbara Catering and would recommend them in a heartbeat.

complimenting us on it!

imented the food and the service we received at the event. Couldn't be happier!

ll our guests raved about the food we served! My husband and I wanted to surprise our guests with a midnight snack of hamburgers and french fries with were so delicious! The staff were all so nice to work with as well!

sioned a particular style of food with particular requests and the catering company did exactly as we wanted. No questions and with a great price to our requests. The food was definitely a HUGE talk throughout the wedding. From the appetizers to the service staff the guests were absolutely amazed at how perfect everything was!

reat experience :)

udget, so we went with heavy appetizers like mini sandwiches, fondues, etc. My guests were plenty satisfied, and the food was delcious. Lauren Guthrie was endlessly patient with me as I tried to make the numbers work time and time again. I think they revised the menu and estimate 8 or 9 times for me. The only downside for me other than the price was that they are pretty strict about your adjustments of the menu items. They are created by great chefs, so they don't want to mess with the ingredients too much. They also do not allow any other food or drink on the premises not provided by their company because they are an exclusive caterer. So, be careful with the bar or candy tables.
