. Seriously the best cake we've ever had in our lives. We had three layers: carrot cake with cream cheese frosting (without nuts since hubby is allergic), chocolate cake with the most decadent dark chocolate frosting ever, and the top was vanilla cake with buttercream icing. Each layer was so moist and flavorful; in fact, the cake was so amazing that hubby and I ate the top layer the day after the wedding. (We'll just get Maria to make us a new cake in our 1-year anniversary.) The prices were very reasonable and she was able to work within our budget. She perfectly matched the color of the cake to a swatch of my bridesmaid dress color. Everything was beautiful on my wedding day and I received so many compliments from my guests. Everyone wanted to know who made the delicious cake! If you want a beautiful cake that's also amazingly delicious, Artistic Confections is the baker for you!

e day of the wedding, I didn't get to see the cakes in person until it was time to cut them. I had a bridesmaid take pictures of the cakes and I was so excited, they turned out perfect. The grooms cake was a Yeti cooler with a fish head and tail sticking out of it as if the lid was closed on it. Their were lures and other fishing tackle placed around it as well. It was perfect! Between the two cakes we had Italian butter cream (my favorite), chocolate, vanilla and then chocolate and peanut butter. Some of the layers included strawberries, and icings that complemented the cake layer.

In 2010 I officially founded Artistic Confections and my success has led me to the opening of my own store front here in Tallahassee. I have been making Wedding cakes since 2002 and haven’t looked back since. We will customize your cake so it is unique and like no other , you will not be disappointed. Since 2008, my recipes have been featured on The Good Morning Show on WCTV cable channel 9 with Art Myers. The show airs Wednesday Mornings during the Celebrity Chef segments.
