I honestly cannot say enough good things about Glenda or her style of photography!!! The moment I met Glenda (at the IX bridal show) I knew she was the one I wanted to have as my photographer! I met a lot of photographers along the way but when I saw her work, I honestly just knew! I am 'that' bride that had probably somewhere around a thousand pictures saved on her Pinterest board, LOL! For me, pictures were the most important part! It was the one thing that I didn't want to compromise on, these photos are a beautiful reminder of this one magnificent day that is filled with more love than you even know what to do with! So for me, I needed someone who understood that I wanted to capture all of those moments, along with staging some fun pictures I had seen. My SIL had told me once that the photographer she had for her wedding, was not very receptive to her Pinterest or the pictures she wanted to stage. She basically said that she knew best.. I cannot tell you how elated I was when Glenda asked to see my Pinterest board, she wanted to know what type of pictures I liked, what kind of vibe I had in mind!! She even came out and met with me (I'm about 50 mins away!) a few days before the wedding (in the pouring rain, I might add!) so we could develop a 'Day Of' plan as far as locations, timeline, etc. I honestly cannot say enough good things. We had 10 hours of coverage, so she was there for the ENTIRE time. She was extremely personable while being absolutely professional, the entire time! She made it so much fun! I was absolutely stunned by how breathtaking the photos were when I got them back. I knew they were going to be good but they are honestly the most incredible photos! She not only captured our day but she captured the love we have for each other, as crazy as it sounds you can actually feel it through the pictures. They're incredible! To say I am obsessed with our pictures is an understatement lol. So, thank you a million times over, Glenda! I honestly can't put into words how much I appreciate everything you did for us and how you captured our perfect day! We will have these pictures to look back on for the rest of our lives and it is all thanks to you. Lots of love & fondness - Dee Mari

I loved working with Glenda! I couldn't have asked for a better photographer. Everything was just wonderful :). She's kind and funny and very easy to communicate with. She made the whole process really easy as well as fun! And her pictures! Oh my goodness those beautiful pictures. You will regret it if you don't chose her for your special day! I love our gorgeous photo albums as well as the amazing slideshow we chose. She did such a fantastic job and we got so many compliments on it. She is absolutely worth every penny :).

Amazing amazing AMAZING photographer! Glenda isn’t like the Instagram photographers who started on an iPhone. She knows about lighting, angles and all that good stuff that make a good picture an artistically beautiful one. She loves photography and all the work that goes into it and it shows in every single picture. She was also so sweet and flexible. The day of the wedding I had some bridezilla moments, but she reeled me back in. I look at some of the pictures where I knew I was tense (I’m sorry Glenda!) and I couldn’t even tell I was stressed and nervous. She had a positive attitude the entire time. She is a ray of sunshine. If you have a chance to shoot with her for an engagement shoot, do it! It’s worth it, especially if you are shy and a nervous person like me.

Glenda was amazing and very flexible. She even travelled all the way to NC to photograph our wedding. We love the photos she quickly got us. The poses were perfect and the thought process was definitely there. Glenda was easy to work with and cooperative. If you want this experience, go with Glenda!

When it came down to selecting a wedding photographer for my wedding, I did not know where to begin! My husband and I had wandered through many expos and online reviews trying to decide on our photographer. To tell you the truth, I was not very impressed with very many photographers. Having a background in graphic design, I was big on angles, placement, lighting, and photographs that can tell a story. Most of the photographers work that I came across seemed to be pretty generic and boring, nothing that made their work stand apart . Some have fancier lighting and higher resolution while others did similar things at a more affordable cost. I did not expect much from a photographer at that point and we were ready to allocate an extremely low budget to a photographer. Then, we came across Glenda's booth at an expo. There was a different quality to her work that made me forget I was looking at a photograph, rather, I was looking at someone's memory. Every bride wants her day to be out of a story book and for it to be remembered that way. Photos and videos are the best way to save a memory. Glenda's work not only captured special moments of my day, but did so in such a way that the photos themselves come to life. She is willing to work with you to help you find the best pose and the best location as well. Even my husband, who is usually not great at posing for photos had some great single shots of him as well! If you are looking for a photographer who is enthusiastic about your day and cares about capturing all of your key moments, Glenda is an excellent choice! I believe the name "Artistic Photography" sums up the description pretty well! Artistic is the type of memories you will be getting with Glenda!

Glenda is absolutely amazing at what she does! She did our engagement photos a few months back and is scheduled to to our wedding photos next year. She makes you laugh, and smile and makes you just want to have fun to where you forget about the camera taking your photos and you focus 100% on your significant other to where some truly heart felt absolutely stunning photos are captured of your love for one another. She had am absolutely amazing turn around time, we had our photos in about a week. She is so helpful, creative, understanding and informative and truly a blessing to work with. 10/10 would recommend for any bride!

Glenda was amazing during our engagement shoot! She captured everything and more in my hopes for this shoot. I've never had a professional shoot where I felt I looked beautiful, so I didn't have the highest hopes for my engagement shoot. But when we received our photos, I was FLOORED at how beautiful our pictures were and how beautiful I looked and felt. I can't wait to see what she does with the wedding!

We used Glenda for our Labor Day weekend wedding at Fowler’s Mill Golf Course. She is such a creative photographer and well prepared. She visited the golf course earlier in the week before the wedding so that she could find the perfect locations for our first look pictures and after ceremony pictures. We would use her again in a heartbeat!

Glenda did everything that was asked and got plenty of shots that we were not expecting. She was very attentive and easy to work with. We didn't have to worry about anything. She just let us be ourselves and got great photos of enjoying our wedding day. I would definitely recommend her to a couple in search of an excellent photographer to help make their day special.

Glenda is an extremely passionate photographer. Not only did my husband and I get the opportunity to work with her once, but twice. She did the photography for wedding AND our engagement shoot. The amount of time she spends preparing for her shoots is impressive. She even looked into my Pinterest account to recreate the ideas that I loved and let me tell you, she nailed them! Not only did she recreate my ideas but she had plenty ideas of her own as well. She has so much experience and it shows. With the amount of experience Glenda has, my husband and I were immediately able to trust Glenda and know that she would get the shots I was looking for. I am a picture fanatic and thought it would be very difficult to find a photographer. Once we found Glenda, I just knew she was going to be the one. I looked to her for advice on many different things, even including my wedding timeline to make sure I would get the shots I wanted. She offers great packages, I loved the website for our photos, and she listens to you. I can't forget about her team either because her assistant on our wedding day did a lovely job as well. Glenda is all around a kind, genuine and great person to work with especially for such a great part of your life. I would give her 10 stars if I could!!!!

Glenda is a truly passionate photographer, I had the opportunity to not only work with her once but two times. She can cover all your photography needs and makes you feel at ease while doing so. She is a kindhearted individual who is very passionate about what she does. You can use her services many times over from your engagement to your newborn photos. Through it all she makes you feel at ease through the whole process. Making sure she understands what you want in your photos to helping you plan your timeline so you can have the optimum amount of time to get all the photos you want while still being able to enjoy your time with your family and friends. My engagement and wedding photos turned out better then i could have ever imagined. She has a keen eye for detail with neat tricks up her sleeve to give you the photos you could only dream about. All around a great person to work with.

Glenda is absolutely wonderful! The name of her company “Artistic Photography” really matches well with the photography work that Glenda does. My fiancé and I recently did our engagment shoot and we had an absolute blast!! We are in love with our photos!! We got them back super super fast and Glenda was extremely fun to work with. She gave us so many options and created our own little story through our shoot. Photos are incredibly important to me, especially for moments like these. Because of this, I thought it was going to be tough for us to find a photographer for our wedding. However, after meeting with Glenda, the only photographer I met with I will add, I knew she would be perfect. Glenda and her assistant were awesome. By the end of the day it was like she was part of the wedding party! She helped give us some direction and may have taken some direction from my crazy bride's maids! Glenda was great to work with and when we got the pictures back they took my breath away! Glenda is amazing at what she does. Not only is she extremely talented, but organized and you don't have to wait long to get your pictures. Our engagement session was Saturday and we got our pictures uploaded onto our web page in 2 days. She makes the photography process a very stress free atmosphere and very enjoyable. According to TV Guide I am labeled as a celebrity for being a contestant on the hit show Face Off. Of all the pictures I have posted on social media, I got more "likes" on the photos Glenda took than anything I have ever posted. Enough said. Really though I got very lucky finding Glenda while attending the IX center Bridal Show. I noticed right away that her artistic vision was exactly what we were looking for. My husband and I are both artists with a very specific vision. We had an American Horror Story themed wedding and we needed a photographer that could capture the macabre look we were going for along with making us feel comfortable enough to do so. We had our wedding at a theater and wanted really cool movie posters of ourselves. I searched on line for them and even started putting them together until Glenda told me she could do them. What she was able to do with photo shop was better than anything I have ever seen and her price was lower than anything I have found. I had her make us two posters! When we finally had the wedding I couldn't stop crying which made my face look puffy and old. Lucky for me Glenda was able to airbrush all of that out so I looked as beautiful as I had envisioned for my big day. Before my wedding I was reading information about all aspects of weddings. Many of the articles out there had brides saying that their number one regret was not having a good photographer. You spend a lot of time thinking about your wedding day, planning your wedding day and spending a ton of money on your wedding day. The day goes by in the blink of an eye. All you have left to remember it by is the photos. Having a great photographer is so so very important and Glenda Madaris is definitely top notch! I will absolutely cherish my wedding photos for the rest of my life thanks to Artistic Photography by Glenda. Thank you Glenda. Jill Burgner

My husband and I chose Glenda to photograph our wedding and we couldn't be happier with our decision. From the moment I met Glenda she was so warm and made me feel so comfortable. She really listened to what I was looking for for a photographer and the whole process start to finish was seemless. I first heard of her at a bridal convention in Cleveland. Her prices were reasonable and her pictures were gorgeous. We met over coffee prior to hiring her and she brought albums so I could see a "hard copy" of her work. Glenda photographed our engagement pictures and did a beautiful job so I was really looking forward to her capturing our big day. Highly recommend !! :)

As a minister, I’ve been performing weddings for over 40 years. I’ve lost count of how many exactly, but I’m in a plethora of photo albums as the Officiant. So when I decided to get married myself, I reevaluated the typical Marital Ceremony and the usual elements of just about every Holy Union. Having been married to a wedding photographer the first time around, I was keenly aware of the role Glenda would play in my special day this past July. Not only did Glenda facilitate a seamless wedding day, completely flawless, but she beautifully and fully captured the emotions of myself, my new husband, family and friends. Firs time around I never looked at my photos. This time I'm surprised the images aren't worn out. At any moment that I want to relive our wedding and get right back into the hearfelt moments of our day, I just take a peak and there we are. I met Glenda in 2006 when I hired her for my twin daughters sweet sixteen photos and our experience was perfect from her professionalism to the excellent work quality. Now 2016 one of my twin girls was getting married and having a wedding so I knew no one else could do their pictures but Glenda and that is just what we did, contact her. She was the same professional hard working woman and the quality of her work is just perfect. Our engagement photos turned out exactly like we had envisioned and can't wait for the wedding photos!!! She also created gift certificates for our guests to purchase and put towards our photography package which has been a huge help. We are absolutely in love with her work and highly recommend checking her out.

From the moment we first met Glenda to discuss our wedding pictures, we knew that she was going to be extremely helpful and courteous to our wishes. She offered an excellent service and went far beyond our expectations. Her website was easy to use and readily available after the wedding, and my wife and I had wonderful time looking at the incredible pictures that Glenda captured. Her many suggestions that have come from years of experience as a photographer turned out to be both my wife and and I's most favorite pictures. Glenda's joy that she takes out of her art shows in both her personality and the quality of her photographs. My only regret is that I failed to provide Glenda with enough time to take even more pictures (especially considering the beautiful park Glenda suggested to us). Despite this the pictures turned out incredible, and my wife and I are most pleased with both her and her assistant's hard work and skill. Glenda is by far the BEST!!! She was prompt! Detailed oriented! She genuinely cared! She was able to wrangle in my crazy bridal party and family and capture BEAUTIFUL moments! She went above and beyond to ensure each moment was special even in the midst of all the hectic activities of the day! Our wedding day pictures are our most prized possession! My niece married last August 2015. It was up on the lake in Cleveland. Her 2 uncles one being my husband gave her away. Besides the happiness of the wedding there was some sadness due to the fact my husband was fighting lung cancer. He thought the world of his niece. He was sick that day but you would never had known that. The pictures Glenda captured of him coming in with his niece were awesome. He was smiling so big and looked so handsome in his tux. All he wedding photos were beautiful. Glenda also works well with what the family wants and makes sure we also get our pictures with our own cameras. I have also seen pictures she has taken of others and again she really out does herself. I thank her for making our family that day get to see the beautiful wedding and I was so happy to finally see my husband smile so much. I am afraid I did lose him in November. He really gave it a fight but the cancer won. Every time I look at the pictures I cry. But it is with happiness because that day my niece was the most beautiful bride with her uncle beaming. Again it was the work of Glenda who was able to catch everything. I am in Pa. but I would really advise anyone to have her due your special weddings or anything. She is just the best. Thank-You.

Every bride knows that the magic of her wedding day is all in the details. From the briefest shared glance between the newlyweds, to the wonderful chaos of the reception, a good photographer will capture those moments in time for you. Glenda not only understands this, she has a way of drawing forth the romance and enchantment of each situation to give you the most stunning photographs! Her eye for detail and imagination for set up is unparalleled- I have no doubt I made the right choice. We had her for a full 10 hours (which many photographers won't do). She scoped out photo locations at our ceremony and reception sites, and used extra lighting to highlight and create shadows for beautiful scenes.The rainy weather couldn't even dampen her artistic vision! I loved how she guided the bridal party in some creative and playful shots, making it fun for everyone, even the stubborn (but adorable) little flower girl. So many people have commented that my photos look like they were taken right out of a magazine... I can't even tell you how good that makes me feel! I still get teary-eyed looking through my pictures, just remembering each amazing moment, and reliving it through the perfectly captured details!

Glenda recently photographed our wedding on October 17th, and we will try to put into words how incredible she was, but honestly, words will never do justice to her passion, character, abilities, and love she has for what she does. Glenda was able to make us feel comfortable from the first time we met her, which is necessary for the best photos. I (Whitney) found her through The Knot, and after looking at her work with Ben and meeting her at a bridal show, we knew she was the perfect match for us. It was made even more clear that we made the best photographer decision when Glenda took our engagement photos. From the very beginning, she was smiling from ear to ear, which in turn helped us relax and feel at ease while she was posing us, giving us advice, and taking pictures. When it came to our wedding, we didn't have to worry about a thing with her. We completely trusted her and knew that her passion and keen eye for taking the best shots and also coming up with something unique would really capture our big day. I heard about Glenda when a close friend of mine used her for her engagement and wedding pictures. I was amazed at what I saw and I knew I needed to have her for my pictures. Glenda is so easy to work with and has great ideas for poses and for picture locations. Her pictures are a work of art. No two are the same. I love how my engagement and wedding pictures came out! She captured one of the most important days of my life just beautifully. I would recommend her to everyone!

Like many grooms I didn't have very strong opinions of how I wanted our wedding to be or to look like. I just wanted whatever would make my future wife happy. I trusted her vision. When she asked my opinion of a photographer I didn't really care who she chose I figured they were pretty much the same. Once we met with Glenda I could tell right away that she loved what she did and that she was quite different than what I had anticipated. She was extremely considerate of both of our opinions and did a great job of capturing what we both wanted in our engagement and wedding pictures. I would definitely recommend her to others. I am getting married in December so I can't quote her work for the wedding just yet but I've done an engagement shoot as well as a boudoir shoot with her and she's fabulous!!! At the engagement shoot, she showed us a lot of fun energy as well as her passion for photography. She was even patient enough to sneak our dog into our pictures which was not an easy task! She's fun and makes taking professional photos (which can be awkward) very fun and relaxing! The pictures turned out ABSOLUTELY perfect!!! Then we had our boudoir shoot together and let me tell ya- I've never done anything like that and was VERY nervous! But she took the time to make me feel at ease as well as beautiful and ended up having a really good time! I know my hubby will just love his book when I give it to him for Christmas! She also helped us pick both venues for our pictures- she really has great taste and is knowledgeable about many of the great picture venues around Ohio! So far, I've been VERY satisfied/happy with Glenda and cannot wait to see how amazing our wedding pictures will look! Two Thumbs up!HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! :)

Glenda was an amazing photographer, and so much fun! From the first time we met her, we knew her vision was going to be perfect to capture the best day of our lives. We started with an engagement session that had all of our friends and family talking and raving about the photos for the next months to come. When it came time for the wedding, we couldn't be more excited. She was there from beginning to end and every moment in between! She captured EVERY detail of my wedding, including very special moments with my grandma, who passed away a week later. I cannot express what a blessing it is to now have these beautiful works of art. She also had a wonderful assistant that helped to make our images even more unique with dramatic lighting and a great second opinion. All in all, it was an amazing experience and worth every penny. I cannot wait to receive my beautiful album!!

My wedding was 2 years ago and I'm still obsessed with my wedding and engagement photos! My pictures look like you ripped them out of a magazine, meaning they were fabulous! But my love of the pictures goes way beyond just the finished product. Glenda Madaris was amazing! Glenda was incredible from beginning to end! She did our engagement and wedding shots and never hesitated to meet with us to understand our vision of what we wanted each step of the way. Her own vision is one that is unique and priceless. She creates a beautiful story through her photography unlike any other photographer. Her ability to capture a love story is truly an art. She is hilariously stealthy in her picture taking and had the incredible ability to create a sense of organization and calmness to our hectic day! I would not hesitate to recommend her time and time again. I also have to mention our gorgeous albums that she had bound in Italy. I searched around to find not only the best photographer for my wedding but the perfect artist as well! You can tell that Glenda has a passion for what she does. My fiance and I had the most fun time with her during our engagement shoot. Our wedding is next year but we are so impressed with her work and know that we made the best choice! Our photographer Glenda was wonderful to work with. During our engagement session we captured 400-500 shots! Instead of the traditional engagement session we did a 1920s glamour engagement session! Glenda is a fantastic and unique photographer! Instead of creating "similar" photos every couple has, she turns them into Art. Glenda is helpful with direction during the shoot. I was nervous for our engagement session, but Glenda made me confident. If you do not book her, your crazy. I cannot wait for how our wedding pictures will look in May 2015!

Glenda did our engagement and wedding photos. For our engagement photos we probably chose the coldest and windiest day for a beach shoot. She helped us through the cold and they came out beautifully. No one could tell how frozen to the bone we were. We just got back our wedding photos and they look awesome. She has a skillful eye and does a great job.

I did a lot of research in order to find the right photographer for our wedding.. Glenda exceeded our expectations! She was easy to work with and got amazing photos even though it rained most of the day. we had maybe 15 minutes of no rain to smash all of our formal photos in and i was worried.... Glenda has a feel for taking photos that I think many wedding photographers lack. Besides the obligatory family portraits, I barely noticed her there at all. Her photojournalism style captures THE BEST moments. Everything is real and honest. Nothing was posed awkwardly or forced. Glenda is also very much the artistic type. To us, it was easy to handle. Artistic types usually are very much into their job - which is excellent! However, keeping track of time and (sometimes) describing how to adjust a pose is rocky. These issues were minor and did not disrupt our experience. We loved 95% of the pictures she took. The 5% we did not were not her fault at all - someone would be making a weird face or other uncontrollable issues. Otherwise, everything was gorgeous. She made us comfortable and made me feel beautiful.

Glenda was a charm to meet. At our first meeting, she went over the fine details, she showed us her work, answered any questions we had. Communicated with my daughter at all times. She was on time with task at hand, she kept things moving so you can get all the shots you wanted. She is very focused on the fine details too. This shows in her work. Did I mention her work is impeccable? Oh my gosh, my daughters pictures are flawless. She captures the romantic, serious, and humor in the couple, The eyes at that special moment, the hands at a certain touch. I could go on and on. She can capture that moment. After researching local photographers, visitng with many, and always walking away not 100% satisfied with the creativity....I found Glenda! I attended a bridal show in hopes of finding the perfect photographer. I was so distracted by all of the other things that those bridal shows have to offer that the photos became the last thing on my mind, but when I came upon The Artistic Photography display I knew I struck gold. Glenda was so nice and sweet when I met her and she seemed so passionate about her work. After our meeting with her after the show, we hired her on the spot! The advice and help with preparation up to the wedding was fantastic- she is a true professional! She was AWESOME on our wedding day. She was very considerate to others and got some really creative shots. The perfect pictures I was hoping for- A little tradition with a whole lot of art and creativity! And of course something that not all my friends have, which is the repetitive boring wedding photos you always see. I have gotten so many compliments on my photos as they are on social media, displayed at our family's houses, and all over our house. I have even received many compliments from my family in Germany who say, "These photos are so nice and so classy. We are so impressed because we don't have this type of wedding photographer around at an affordable price." I would recommend Glenda with two thumbs up! I wouldn't have asked for anything different, and her professionalism and great package options are above the rest!
