Art-Strings Ensembles - "Bach, Beatles & Beyond!"

My husband and I knew that we wanted live musicians for our ceremony once we heard a sample of Art Strings music we knew they were the ones! We had a string quartet. We listened to some of their more modern covers and they were so good that we also had to have them for our cocktail hour.

Alex and his team were true professionals who played beautifully during our ceremony and cocktail hour. Although they have an extensive repertoire, they learned three new pieces for our ceremony, which made the evening even more memorable. Our guests loved the quartet and complimented their musical ability. We would ABSOLUTELY recommend Art-Strings Ensemble!

Alexander Abayev and his crew are just spectacular. Their talents are just so beautiful and it set my wedding apart. They played for guests as they arrived and put on a beautiful show. Then they sat in the sanctuary as guests walked in to take their seats for the ceremony. So many people complimented me on this addition and they were worth every single damn penny. They made my walk down the aisle so romantic and beautiful and I cried listening to them. Their service, attention to detail, responsiveness to emails, it all made him so easy to work with. The best of the best!

We used Art-Strings Ensembles for our July 2018 wedding in Huntington, NY. They were easily one of our favorite parts of our wedding day. Our guests really enjoyed the music during our ceremony and cocktail hour too. Alexander was very easy to work with and quickly replied to all communication. Art Strings ensemble was fantastic at my daughter’s wedding held at the Waveny house . A few of our guests play first chair cello, clarinet and violin in orchestras around the USA. They were very complimentary on Art Strings performance . The ensemble can play any gendre requested . They truly were one of the highlights of our event

I was hesitant to spend extra money on a string ensemble, but it was a wedding "extra" I dreamed about. I am so happy my husband and I chose Art-Strings to play at our wedding ceremony. They were amazing! Many of our guests complimented them as well. I wish we could have had them play longer. Alexander was vey helpful and was able to accommodate my song choices. I also love that they offer so many sample tracks on their website. I highly recommend Art-Strings. If you're hesitating, dont...book them!

Alex and the string quartet are professionals through and through. They put together a beautiful ceremony and cocktail hour during our recent June wedding, and required very little hand holding to put on the perfect show. From songs like 'Unchained Melody' from the movie Ghost to 'Fault in Our Stars' by Coldplay, the team plays a vast range of songs for any couple. We provided Alex with a list of must-play ceremony songs and they put on a beautiful performance. We used their awesome posted YouTube songs as initial thought starters, and were able to request additional songs not on their playlist. So many of our guests commented on their professionalism and passionate performance afterwards. Highly recommend hiring this group for your upcoming event - they created the perfect ambiance to kickstart our special day!

Truly amazing!! We booked Art-Strings Ensembles for our pre-ceremony and ceremony music and it remains one of our best memories of our wedding day. My husband is a big fan of rock music and boy did they deliver , my guest were blown away and surprised by the modern and contemporary songs they played - Black in Black, Stairway to Heaven, Crazy Train to name a few. The guys were really professional and were able to deliver on all of our request...even with my husbands crazy request of O Fotuna as he pulled up on his motorcycle and made his entrance to the wedding alter(we had an outdoor wedding). We had the Best Day Ever and we are so glad Art-Strings were part of it!

These guys are amazing!!! Our guests loved how they could seamlessly blend classical music with classic rock and pop music. They made our ceremony and cocktail hour so unique and customized to us, our guests are still talking about it!! I would 100% recommend them to anyone getting married!

I cannot overstate how good these guys were. We gave them two custom pieces for the ceremony and then selected a slate of music from their considerable repertoire for the prelude and the cocktail hour. They were unbelievably accommodating, even when we needed to make a last-minute change to the contract. Moreover, they arrived promptly and fully prepared, took a copy of our agenda and went about their business with zero fuss and zero issues. Absolute professionals! Several guests commented on how good they were and grabbed their cards after the reception. So, needless to say, I recommend Arts String to anyone looking to get married in the New York Area. (Also worth noting how totally affordable they were. Best bang for your buck by far!)

Art-Strings sounded beautiful in their online samples, but nothing compared to their professional sound in person. They played our welcoming music all the way through our recessional and everything was timed perfectly. We fully enjoyed having them there and our guests felt the same. Great choice!

Art Strings provided the music during my garden ceremony. Alex was great and responsive through the whole process. On the wedding day they performed flawlessly and even stayed later then the contracted amount of time because all of my guests decided to show up a half an hour after the scheduled start time. They didn't even ask for an additional payment (which i didn't realize until after the wedding, since I was so caught up in the day!) Everyone was raving about them and they provided the perfect ambiance to my garden wedding! Thank you guys so much for making my day amazing!

We opted for a string quartet for our cocktail reception and ceremony and we were looking for a group that played some of the pop/rock songs we liked as well as the classics, while browsing the NY area quartets we found ASE and they seemed perfect! Dealing with them was mostly pleasant (replies and returning calls took a little while) and over all we were very confident! At the wedding they didn't play most of the songs we selected (part of their repertoire in their website) and played mostly the classical music during cocktail our, it was unfortunate because we were really looking forward to it. They are top Notch musicians and we were pleased, but we did not get what we wanted from them :(

It was a secret dream of mine to have a string quartet play at my wedding, and when my fiance suggested we have one, I almost cried! Art Strings did a lovely job; they were professional, prompt and played beautiful music. Funny though, as I was walking down the aisle, I could barely hear them play because I was so focused on my husband that I blocked everything else out! I really did enjoy having them play at our wedding and would recommend them to anyone who wants this elegant touch to their ceremony.

We had our wedding on May 1st, 2011, and we had an amazing experience with Alexander and his team. We had their quartet for our ceremony and cocktail hour, and had string with piano for the entire reception. The music throughout the wedding was so romantic and beautiful and impressive! We felt extremely lucky to have them in our wedding, because their music amazed all my guests, and they are extremely professional and friendly and very easy to work with. A lot of my guests comlimented our music after the wedding. My husband and I are so happy to have Alexander and Art-String and we highly recommend them for your upcoming wedding or event. Mr. Abayev was incredibly professional. He went out of his way to find and play the music I had requested. In addition he found a trumpet player who provided the perfect touch to Wynton Marsalis's version of Eternal Source of Light Divine. The quartet played beautifully. All of my wedding guests complimented their professionalism and talent.

Absolute professionals! Alexander was so very helpful in choosing songs for the ceremony and was also wonderful in choosing the repetoire during the cocktail hour. I called several performers and I had a good feeling when I spoke to Alexander from Art-Strings. He spent a long time speaking to me on the phone about my options and I just felt comfortable with him. Every time I called or emailed he was very quick to get back to me. The day of my wedding I heard the music (harp & violin) as I was getting ready to walk down the aisle and I became a little emotional because it sounded so beautiful! There's something about 'Canon in D' being played live that always gets me. Overall I would definitely recommend Art-Strings. They were accommodating, reasonably priced, and sounded great!

We had our wedding on Oct 10,2010 and felt so lucky to have Art-Strings to perform at our wedding. We can't thank Alexander enough to bring so many beautiful music to our wedding and everybody attended the wedding are highly appraised the musician as they noticed the differences. First, Alex has been very cooperative and always quickly response to our questions and requests. He had been working very hard to answer our requests or accommodate our needs. Second, since my wife and I are both from Asia, we had some different traditions to perform our own music at the wedding. I asked Alex if they can perform the music of our own in the wedding, and most important, to perform our own music as Bridal Processional Music. Alex said yes. We find score for him and needless to say, a little concerned, especially the music was oriented from piano. But when we received the sample of violin performance from Alex, we were so happy! The performance was just outstanding! Alex and his partner actually played 3 music that we chose from our own culture, that they probably never heard of, and their performance are all phenomenal. The music at our wedding is one of our best memory and I am sure we will enjoy to watch our videos again and again with the background music played by Art-strings!

We hired a String Trio to perform at our daughter's wedding ceremony. The trio arrived early to the venue for set up. They were fantastic. Mr. Abayev worked closely with me in choosing music for the ceremony. He was always available to answer all my questions. An excellent choice!
