As You Like It Events at Temeku Hills Ballroom

After searching and interviewing and emailing over 20 venues we found Temeku Hills. We truly feel this was a blessing! Not only could the fit my party of originally 250 they had everything available a la carte! This is very rare. In addition to this feature, anything that was already in their inventory I could use at no extra cost. Since my wedding was black & white I didn't pay for the linens (which are floor length) and they offered me extra service by alternating both colors throughout the venue. We avg about $40/person and let me tell you the food was AMAZING!!!! I've been to and eaten at other well known venues (that are advertised here on the knot at $$$) and the food Temeku Hills had with their partnering catering company, As You Like It Catering, had some of the best food I've had at a wedding. Here are some of the perks they threw in for me: They helped set up and place all my center pieces, decorate the stage at a last min change due to rainy weather, decorated the arch for us (when we should have done it), placed all of my individual cakes on all of the tables, set up the appetizers which they allowed me to purchase from the outside (along with the cakes) and I even dropped in on them a few times without calling and they were ready EVERY time - even their staff were ready. The staff ALWAYS had a smile on their face and were ALWAYS very attentive to us. These are just some of the major things I can remember - but one of the biggest things is how they made us feel so special which started right at our first meeting with them. Rachel and Phyllis are such patient, caring, hard working and pleasant women. I would definitely work with them over and over and over again! Thank you all!!!!
