However, our communications with ASC catering left a lot to be desired leading up to our wedding day. During our initial tour and conversations, the wedding coordinator, Lorraine, was quick to respond and seemed very flexible. As soon as we signed our contract, this completely changed. We had a lot of questions after initially signing our contract due to the ongoing renovations at Buttermilk, and we would go weeks without getting a response. When we expressed concerns regarding some discrepancies between what we were told during our initial tour and what was being communicated to us via email, we were met with responses like, “If you would like to cancel your wedding, we would be more than happy to refund your deposit.” We also were frequently reminded that we were not the only event ASC catering was putting on that day. Additionally, we were given an initial food and beverage list when our contract was first signed a year before our wedding. At the time, we were told to expect a very small price increase. We were given an updated F&B list about 3 months before our wedding date that did have a small price increase, which we were not concerned about. Then, the month of our wedding, we were told that some of the wines we had chosen were not available and we were sent a third F&B list that had different beverage options and even higher beverage prices. ASC catering was able to honor the prices of the 2nd F&B list we were given, but this was just one example of the lack of transparency and poor timeliness we experienced. It was a really disheartening experience, and I hope that no other couple ever has to go through what we went through when communicating with their venue. Lorraine even had the audacity to tell our wedding planner on the day of our wedding that she was glad she would never have to deal with us again, despite our wedding planner frequently reassuring us that this was not a normal experience with a venue.

The venue, "The Lynn Britt Cabin" on Snowmass Mountain & ASC Catering were fabulous! Could not recommend them more!! Thank you ASC Catering!

pful and accomadating. The pre-event tasting occurred while we wee skiing during the Christmas holidays at Elk Camp restaurant. They along with chef provided us a wide array of selections. The wedding event was flawless - with ASC even coordinating our party rental - which included a tent errection, lighting, table setting and stage/dance floor set-up. But most outstanding were their serving staff/team. So gracious, helpful and gracious. They assured each and every guest had a full glass of wine, or drink of choice. And most importantly--the food--it was so delicious and well prepeared. The effciency of the servers assured each of us had a hot plated meal. And all 150+ guests were served almost simulteaneously. If you are having an event in Aspen/Snowmass--even if not on Aspen Ski Company property--select ASC for your catering. Bryan was on-site the whole evening 4:00pm - Midnight to lead and assure everything went smoothly and without any noticable glitches. We could not have been more pleased. ASC provided our daughter, her new husband, family and all our out of town guests a memorable evening on the mountain. We could not have asked for anything more! Kudos to ASC and their Team!

emote venue to the unusual plates we wanted to use. The service and food were both impeccable; we received many guest compliments on each. Staff were very attentive during cocktail hour and made sure that every guest was able to taste the full suite of passed hors d'oeuvres. We also very much appreciated the special attention paid to our parents and grandparents. As far as dinner was concerned, one guest commented that it was the best vegetarian entree they'd ever been served at a wedding (the gnocchi! yum!), and the "adult" mac and cheese that was served with the BBQ chicken was a huge hit. The staff even prepared customized plates for myself and the groom as we simply couldn't decide between the amazing entrees we selected for the event. They also prepared two fantastic "to-go" boxes for us, which we thoroughly enjoyed later in the evening and the next day. Kudos to Chef Phil House and his team! I couldn't recommend ASC Catering more, for both weddings and other events (they have catered events for my employer as well). They played a huge role in making sure the most meaningful day of our lives was also the best!

ll of my expectations! I am a hospitality professional so tend to be a stickler for good service and ASC Catering's front of house and back of house staff absolutely blew my mind. The service was impeccable and attentive and the food was creative, unique and absolutely delicious and executed perfectly. I could not have asked for a better catering vendor to work with and could not recommend them more!
