I cannot say enough great things about AJ! From the moment I reached out to him he was so nice, very quick responding, answered all of my questions and gave us a great deal!!! He is an awesome DJ but also fixed my dress right before I walked down the isle and gave me a little pep talk!!! If you need a dj look no further!!! He is amazing and such a nice guy!!!

Absolutely loved our experience with Ascend Entertainment! Brandon was amazing and I couldn’t have asked for better music for the night. It rained on our wedding day and he was so accommodating and still made the night so special for us. The whole process was so easy, from the online planning website to the actual evening. Definitely would recommend Ascend Entertainment for any future events!

AJ not only saved the day for us he was so fun and entertaining!! Our wedding plans were destroyed due to COVID-19, but long story short, the week of the wedding we found a venue that was able to have us safely and we were able to have a small ceremony. The DJ we had hired last year was available but then had to back out two days before the wedding. In an amazing stroke of luck AJ Snow got back to us within hours and agreed to help us out after hearing our story! We met on the phone once and then the day of he checked on us throughout the night to make sure we knew what was coming and that we were comfortable. You would never have known we did not plan with AJ for months! He went above and beyond what we were expecting in terms of entertainment and hosting the event. Most importantly we were able to relax and enjoy our big day after months of stress knowing AJ had everything handled. Even if you’re not getting married during a pandemic, he definitely lives up to his “most requested DJ in Charleston” title!

Do yourself a favor and book AJ with Ascend! He is the absolute best! My husband and I were very nervous when initially booking a DJ because we had been to several weddings with essentially the same standard wedding playlists and did not want that for ours! AJ immediately eased our concerns and did not play songs on our “do not play list”. He kept the crowd dancing and engaged! The photo booth he set up was a big hit as well! I would highly recommend him for your wedding!

AJ is truly the best DJ! he was our DJ for our Dept. Christmas party and did an outstanding job! he really knows how to get a crowd going and he's very professional and such a sweet guy. I would highly recommend him to be your entertainment for any event!

Everyone was on the dance floor all night and that wouldn’t have been possible without AJ! He did a phenomenal job choosing songs for all age groups and keeping the energy high. So many guest have come up to me and said how wonderful the music was and how much fun they had. Not only did he do a great job with our wedding he was kind and very professional. Ascend entertainment did a fantastic job. We had AJ as our DJ. He gave us very solid advice in the planning phase and was very accommodating. He knew the venue we were having our wedding at and you could tell from the beginning he knew what he was doing. My wife and I also really appreciated that before our formal dances (first dance, groom -mother) he told us to just give him a nod or a wink and he can transition us out of the dances and into the next thing cutting the song short. When he first told us we thought oh we’ll probably just dance through the whole thing. Little did we realize that when the time came and everyone’s watching you dance it can get a little awkward haha. Just another instance of AJs experience shining through. Also afterwards for the party portion he really knew when to play what songs and when to do certain events/announcements. Overall everyone had a blast at our wedding! Great sense of humor and able to offer customized packages of all types. AJ played our processional at the chapel, and music in two separate rooms at the rehearsal (which was in a different location all together)!!

AJ Snow is absolutely OUTSTANDING! From day one of the planning process, he has been quick to respond to all emails and phone calls and incredibly patient with all my questions! He is one of the nicest people around. When the big day finally came, he kept the party alive, dancing, laughing, and having the time of our lives!! We got SO many compliments on his personality, his music selection, and the super fun twist he put on things! Plus he brought a photo booth that our guests REALLY enjoyed and the pictures from that are actually hilarious! He went way above and beyond to make sure I was 130% comfortable and could relax! I honestly believe that AJ Snow is the greatest DJ in the Charleston area! If you hire any other DJ for your wedding you will be missing out on something really special and hundreds of lifelong memories!!!

Keeping the dance floor going was high up there on my list of things I wanted at my reception and let me tell you, AJ with Ascend Entertainment did just that! His DJ booth set up was perfect equip with lights and all! Everyone was out dancing on our dance floor all night long. No one wanted to leave once the reception was over. He did a great job at keeping the flow of the reception going and getting the crowd together when need be. I highly recommend AJ as your reception DJ. He will not disappoint!

We loved working with Ascend! AJ is very responsive to emails, which was great for my fiancé’s odd work hours. He djed our ceremony and definitely got the party started (and kept it going!). Highly recommended!

AJ was absolutely AMAZING to work with! He was so supportive throughout the entire process and went above and beyond to make sure that everything was exactly the way we wanted it. He was extremely responsive to all of our messages and made planning so simple. He came to find me while my dress was being bustled and talked me through the entire reception - it was so nice knowing it was all taken care of! We also used his photo booth service and had a guest book made with all of the photos. He brought the book and all of the supplies and we didn't have to worry about a thing!

AJ was an amazing DJ and asset to our wedding day. It would not have been half the party without him! After hurricane Irma canceled our wedding back in September I was so nervous that I wasn't going to get AJ as our DJ the next go around. We were very fortunate to get AJ the 2nd time. AJ would make phone calls to us or text messages just to check on us. We had very high expectations for our music list because it was so unique considering we had music snobs in our group :) AJ met every expectation and went above and beyond! The photobooth was absolutely amazing and couldn't have been happier! Thank you so much AJ and Ascend Entertainment for making it our most favorite memorable night a night to remember.

My then-fiancée put me in charge of getting a DJ, something I was not looking forward to. I contacted 9 DJs in the Charleston area for our wedding. AJ, and Ascend Entertainment, was the last person I called on the list. Immediately, I just had a good feeling about Ascend. As someone who contacted many different companies, I can say that Ascend will always have a competitive price compared to the others but they also have that extra something special about them (if you’ve talked with them on the phone, you may already know). AJ and the team are extremely responsive with every email or text message being responded to within 10-20 minutes (even passed midnight). Although it is not necessary to pick songs, as they already have great playlists, if there are any must-have songs at the wedding, their library is easy to navigate. In the off chance they don’t have a specific song in their library, they can get it! The weeks before the wedding, we spoke with Ascend about the order of our events for our reception and they offered great advice from all of their experience. We specifically had AJ at our wedding. He has a great personality and got the party going in no time. He kept to the schedule and knew exactly how to transition from one part to the next. It truly was a fantastic day and we definitely attribute a lot of it to AJ and the Ascend Team. We would highly recommend Ascend Entertainment, without reservation.

AJ and Ascend Entertainment were amazing from the moment we met him to the moment the party ended. AJ is hospitable, flexible, knowledgeable and professional. He will work with you on your timeline, your logistics, your song choices and more. He will put you at ease, and during the tumultuous planning process, that is priceless. AJ did the music for my wedding 2 weeks ago and also for my sister's wedding in May. Both times he did an amazing job! He was upbeat, fun, and easy going. I really appreciated that if he didn't have a song that I wanted, he was open to getting it for me and was able to make all the song choices that I wanted work for the reception and ceremony.

AJ and Ascend Entertainment SAVED our wedding day!! After having our DJ cancel on us 14 days before our wedding, they came to the rescue!! From the first email conversation with AJ, I knew that he was the DJ that we HAD To have for our wedding day! He was so responsive and willing to do ANYTHING to help! He was pretty much available to me 24/7 to answer any questions I had and to help relieve my stress. I could not have found someone more helpful! Our wedding turned out awesome!! AJ is a very, very busy vendor, but he made us feel like we were the only couple. His response time to questions is second to none. When we met AJ we loved his energy and requested him for day of and it ended up working out! We had a dancing crew and they loved the music! We also ended up doing the photo booth as well and I didn't particularly like the new version of it, but hey it came up with awesome pictures! Also, I honestly do not think you can beat the price!

AJ from Ascend Entertainment was Amazing! From our first contact with AJ he was very prompt in responding and felt very comfortable with our choice. We then met AJ (We were planning from abroad) and was blown away with his enthusiasm and energy. We were also very grateful for his advice in general. He had worked at our venue multiple times so he knew what worked and gave us so many suggestions to think about! We were delighted with our choice. Then 2 days before our planned wedding day (09/09/17) Hurricane Irma cancelled our wedding. We had 24hours to rearrange this for 08/09/17 (UK date). AJ was there for us and made us feel confident that we would pull this event off. He was amazing and worked with us all the way through the event and we had a great day! I've not met any other DJ's in the Charleston area but I'm confident that if you choose anyone else for your wedding, then you will be accepting 2nd best. AJ and Brandon from Ascend Entertainment are the dynamic duo. From the moment I met AJ I knew we had to have Ascend Entertainment DJ our wedding reception. Both Brandon and AJ made our wedding process very easy as they were prompt in communication, we're super fun and over all a great addition to make our wedding a success. Brandon assisted us with our super secret first dance surprise to make sure the music compilation my husband and I put together could actually play and made sure it sounded good before the big day. They provided a cell phone charging station which all of our guests loved and up lighting which helped tie all of our decor together. I can't thank Ascend enough to keeping that dance floor packed and making our night so special!

AJ was the perfect choice for our wedding. Prior to the Big Day, he was incredibly helpful and informative. Responding rapidly to emails and personally taking the time to answer phone calls. His systems and processes were well honed and easy to use. His website allows you to personalize your music for every moment throughout the event. Even though his collection of music was vast, he was able to further accommodate our wishes and find songs that we requested that he didn't have prior. Throughout the ceremony AJ ensured that there was never a dull moment, keeping everyone happy, responding to requests, pumping up the crowd and keeping the flow of the evening going. AJ is the absolute best!!! My husband and I are from Ohio, so when we were booking vendors for our destination wedding in Isle of Palms, I relied so much on reading reviews. I read so many reviews for DJ's and Ascend Entertainment had the best reviews. So great in fact, that I felt completely confident in booking with them before meeting them! This was huge for us because we are 9 hours away and couldn't meet any vendors personally. We are SO glad we booked with AJ and Ascend Entertainment! We met with him one time before the wedding and as soon as we met him we knew we made the perfect choice! He was so easy to talk to, laid back and so knowledgable on what he does! At our wedding, AJ was awesome! He kept us up to date on what was going on, what would happen next and he was awesome at being our MC too! Ascend Entertainment was awesome! When I first reached out the owner, AJ was in the Caribbean getting married himself and he still managed to email me back almost immediately. He was always so concerned about me and my wedding no matter the event he was working at the time I contacted him. He was wonderful to work with and helped me put together the perfect list of songs for the wedding. Brandon was the DJ for my wedding. He was so sweet and had the energy to keep my crowd going. He was even flexible enough to switch up the toast order since my Maid of Honor was a bit nervous and needed another drink before she spoke! He made sure not to play the songs on my do not play list even though my friends requested them, and he played every song that was important to my husband and I. It was the best night ever and Ascend had a lot to do with that!

AJ got to DJ my wedding and did a fantastic job!! I was super pleased with his playlist and so were my guests, he knew exactly which parts of the ceremony songs I wanted when I walked down the aisle and it was so perfect. The photo booth was a definite hit and its an awesome way for my husband and I to see that everyone had a great time at the wedding. He did a great job with the cake cutting music and got everyone involved in that, we had a great time with him and I definitely recommend you use him as your DJ!!

Aj was amazing!! He was always quick to respond with any planning questions I had and was open to meeting with me whenever needed to go through how my day was going to flow. When my husband and I were looking for a DJ for our destination wedding in Charleston, I met with more Djs than I can count, but there was something about AJ. We got to know AJ over the course of our year planning, and he is someone we are proud to now call a friend. We had extremely high expectations, and AJ exceeded them. I can not put into words how utterly unforgettable he made our wedding. The dance floor was not empty for one second and everyone literally had to be pushed off the floor at the end of the night. AJ was awesome! We can't say enough good about him. He met with us and our event planner and was so easy to coordinate with especially with it being a destination wedding for us. I wish 10 stars was an option for AJ and the whole Ascend experience. I imagine that I was a pretty "high maintenance" bride hosting an out of town wedding, and AJ literally made my life easy and our wedding AMAZING. Quick and sincere responses all the time, a great online portal, and his willingness to completely customize every detail to reflect my husband and I were just the tip of the iceberg for this guy. Our dance floor was packed all the night long and he even customized a surprise father/daughter dance. I had the best experience with Ascend and cannot speak highly enough of this DJ. AJ Snow did not disappoint! He was so responsive to my emails (within an hour, if not within minutes) to any question or request I had. He made it work and really gave us the party we wanted for our guests. We danced the night away and he read the crowd perfectly. I danced so much that I didn’t even want to take my shoes off and take a break. If you want someone who is attentive and really grasps what you need for your day, make sure to book with AJ at Ascend—he is top notch and I am glad I went with my venue’s recommendation!

AJ was incredible for our wedding. I do not live in Charleston so my only communication with him was via phone and email. We made several last minute changes and AJ made me feel completely confident that it would all be done perfectly, and it was! AJ from Ascend entertainment is absolutely phenomenal! I heard from so many brides before me that they wish they had gone with a better DJ, so I took their advice and looked for the best in town. My husband and I planned a destination wedding outside of Charleston, South Carolina. It was a pleasure to work with AJ. He made the planning process very easy. Loved using his website to pick our ceremony and reception songs. Our reception went off without a hitch. Would definitely recommend his services to anyone looking for a great DJ!

Simply put...AJ is the man!!! If you have the opportunity to use him and don't, you're wrong. Having a top-notch DJ and party atmosphere was one of the top priorities for my wife and I. We were very adamant that the DJ be the life of the party and show all of our guests an awesome time. AJ and his staff were on top of things from the very start. His responsiveness was incredible, his ability to customize playlists and add party favors for the guests made it one of the best nights ever! AJ and his staff had to navigate through travel, thunderstorms and sneaky last minute surprises (my badass wife -- surprised me with Sir Purr from the Panthers and her and AJ totally rocked the entrance!). Most wedding vendors try to fit you in their small area of expertise and say that their services are fully customizable, but AJ actually is. More DJs need to take notes from him. From two people who had very high expectations from this area of our wedding, we were literally blown away at the party atmosphere that he created! PS: the glow sticks were quite the hit and made the pictures look awesome!

My wife(still not used to saying that) and I hired Ascend for our wedding on 9/13/15 and we couldn't have been more pleased! They use this software that lets you pick your songs for everything from the processional to the special dances(i.e. Mother-Son, Father-Daughter), so that we knew that everything would be ready for the big day. The process was really easy(that is important when you have SO many other things going on. AJ was our DJ and he did a phenomenal job. Despite the stellar job our wedding coordinator did, we got off schedule a few times and AJ was there, helping to get us back on track. Everyone said the wedding was amazing and that the music was perfect. I can't thank AJ and Ascend enough for making our special day so memorable and perfect. There is noone else I would even consider recommending for weddings, parties, etc. Ascend is number 1!

There really are not words to describe how amazing AJ and his team at Ascend Entertainment are. I was married on January 3, 2015 -- a time when a lot of DJs probably want to take a breather! -- and AJ never once made me seem like a burden during this busy time. In fact, he went above and beyond to ensure that I had nothing to worry about and he had everything under control. He is prompt, professional, and unendingly encouraging. Every time I saw his name in my email inbox I just knew I was going to smile. My fiance and I were very hands off with the music because we completely trusted AJ to read the environment and give our guests what they wanted, and he did not disappoint. He had our guests dancing all night! In fact, more than once I have had people tell me after the wedding that they wished they had known about AJ whenever they had planned their own event. AJ and his team are truly talented at what they do. They know how to read a crowd, how to choose music for the situation, and how to interact without being intrusive. AJ Snow was our wedding DJ and he was great. We gave him some general likes and dislikes and he created a party that never died down until the very end. I was surprised at the number of people who stayed on the dance floor all night!!! AJ was also very attuned to our guests and he knew how to play the perfect songs at the perfect times for the specific crowds on the dance floor. Everyone from the toddlers to the oldest guests enjoyed the music and AJ's humor.

WOW! I Dont even know where to begin! AJ is THE BEST guy for any of your wedding needs. He is willing to go the extra mile to make your wedding day as perfect as you imagined. Such a sweet and caring guy, not to mention he was willing to be of service to me for my wedding even though it was at the last minute. I contacted AJ 2-3 days before my wedding after the guy contracted to do my uplighting bailed out on me. Aj drove all the way back from out of town on a business trip with contract in hand and with his equipment ready to go. He is so affordable and even gave a complementary gift on the day of my wedding. YOU WOULD BE CRAZY NOT TO PICK HIM FOR YOUR WEDDING! But don't just take my word for it, see for yourself!:)

Ascent Entertainment blew me away. They did such a great job of communicating with me before the wedding. They did a great job of personalizing everything they did. Our guests had such a great time. We especially loved the photobooth! Definitely worth the money. Everyone had a blast! There is even a photobooth attendant that is there to help. FABULOUS!!! Played all my favorite songs, kept the party going. I was having so much I wasn't ready to stop dancing. My guest enjoyed themselves a lot. I even got my husband out on the floor a couple of times. They also did my music for the ceremony which was outside on a beach. It was like they had set up this unbelievable sound system. Great people to deal with and always quick in getting back with me. Also gave some great suggestions on songs and vendors. He always kept me so calm. Never had to worry about a thing with them.

We loved using Ascend Entertainment at our wedding. There were a few specific things we wanted to do and Ascend pulled them off perfectly! They were easy to work with and understood what we wanted. They were a little more on the "pricey" side, but I think it was worth it.

Brandon was the DJ for my wedding and he was amazing. I don't know why I was so worried about the music for the reception because Brandon played the best song selection ever. There was never one of those awkward moments when everyone is dancing and then a terrible song comes on and the dance floor clears out within seconds. He even took Luke Bryan requests from my 5 year old ring bearer. He gets an A+

AJ was amazing at our wedding. He is one of the hardest workers I know. He answered all our questions extremely fast which was extremely helpful. He is very laid back and always wants to have a good time, which is exactly what we wanted for our wedding. The music was amazing, we provided some song requests but he also chose songs based on the crowd. There was one point where almost every single person was up and dancing which is exactly what we wanted. He is very dedicated to his business and made sure everything was taken care of the day of the wedding. I highly highly recommend AJ and he also gives very reasonable prices. AJ with Ascend Entertainment was by far one of the most responsive and professional vendors I worked with throughout my wedding planning. I would email him with a question and have an answer within minutes. My husband and I are both active duty military and he really took care of us when it came to upgrading our package. Additionally, we had a few songs that were harder to find, but Ascend was able to find the clips and loop them as needed. The whole night went smoothly, the DJ really had a good handle on the flow, and the dance floor was packed most of the night. He played the best songs at the right time and the night ended on a high...My guests have been raving about how magical the whole event was. I'm so pleased that I'm actually writing this review while on my honeymoon! They are that good!

Ascend Entertainment is hands down the absolute best. Brandon was the DJ at our wedding -he is amazing and was excellent at engaging the crowd. We communicated back and forth with AJ and he is so personable, professional, responds quickly and really went above and beyond to make sure absolutely EVERYTHING about your wedding day is perfect. The music was the least stressful part of our wedding because AJ was so responsive and easy to work with. All of our guests had the best time because of Ascend Entertainment. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a fantastic and professional DJ.

AJ Snow and Ascend Entertainment were amazing! While planning my wedding people would ask who my DJ was and everyone said that I was guarenteed a perfect night with AJ Snow as my DJ. They were right! He was an excellent 'MC' and his music was perfect. The dance floor was full the entire night. My guests kept going on and on about how much fun they were having dancing. If you want a fun wedding reception with no worries on your part, I would highly recommend him!

Ascend Entertainment did an awesome job on our wedding day. I had no worries- AJ did everything. He kept the party running smoothly had a little something for everyone. AJ did a wonderful job with taking requests, too, from both children and adults. His music library is extensively eclectic, as he was subtle and assertive in directing the tempo of the event. Everybody had a great time as he set the mood. High Marks!

AJ and Ascend Entertainment are the complete package. We first met AJ in January 2014 when we flew in Charleston to meet our wedding planners, vendors etc and we knew right from the off that we were in safe hands for our wedding at the William Aiken House in August 2014. AJ was so enthusiastic from the off and we were able to leave everything to him and his team, including finding us an amazing band for a party after the wedding reception. Throughout the year, he kept in touch and put together a playlist for the night as well as all the music for before and after the wedding ceremony. And on the day, it was just perfect – walking down the aisle to Let’s Get Married by the Proclaimers was fantastic! After the ceremony, AJ really came into his own, playing track after track that got our guests on their feet and introducing the wedding party in such an enthusiastic and fun way. And it wasn’t just the music that was so good as AJ arranged the garter throw and got everyone clapping and shouting, making it such a fabulously fun night. AJ is the consummate professional who makes sure everything is done and done brilliantly – leaving the bride and groom free to enjoy their big day and dance the night away.

From the moment I first called Ascend and I spoke to AJ Snow he made me feel special and relieved me from any stresses I was facing. For such a busy guy he always took my calls as soon as possible if not on the spot. He understood exactly what I wanted for my wedding and without a doubt he did not disappoint me or my guests. AJ was an amazing DJ. Him and his team are not only FUN and Exciting but they are professional and Appreciative. From the first phone call to discuss pricing and availability down to a few weeks after the Wedding AJ was top notch and worth every penny. My husband and I searched high a low for a great DJ.. when we spoke to AJ we knew he was the guy. We booked his DJ and photo Booth package... AJ led our wedding night, he chose the songs accordingly, made everyone laugh , got our guests up and dancing and most importantly he made sure the entire night went smooth .. he didn't skip a beat... As for the Photo Booth .. it was a fun attraction and all of my guests used it. The photo booth comes with an assistant who helps people with props, taking the picture and making sure 1 photo goes into a scrap book for the bride and groom - yes AJ provides a scrap book for the photo booth photos and I must say my husband and I had a BLAST looking at these the next day. The best part.. AJ also send a disk of all of the photos that were taken that night in the photo booth just in case someone didn't leave a picture behind. This company mad such an impression on my guests that they even asked him for his business card at the end of the night.. This company has a lot to offer with outstanding service! Price is reasonable and their customer service is excellent. Everything was set up perfectly and on time and pictures turned out great. Everyone at the wedding mentioned how great the photo booth experience was. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a great experience with great service.

I couldn't have asked for a better group to DJ my wedding. AJ and his group were so laid back and absolutely fabulous! AJ was available to answer my questions and help me with whatever I needed at any point. They were laid back and easy going. They were beyond prepared and even were willing to make last minute changes. If you have to go with anyone for your wedding Ascend Entertainment is the best way to go! My guests are still raving about them!

I was really glad I chose AJ from Ascend Entertainment to provide all of my musical needs for my wedding! I had a dual Indian/American wedding, so the music I needed included some indian music and AJ was able to do that and more! He was also a dynamic DJ and engaged the crowd and really got people dancing! He also had a very professional setup that looked fantastic! I would definitely use him again for any event I throw in Charleston.

AJ DJ'd my wedding and he is awesome! He responded promptly to all my emails which was VERY important to me since I lived in NJ planning a SC wedding. Every time I visited Charleston AJ would meet me to go over any of my questions. The day of, AJ met us before the reception to go over last minute questions and the order of the wedding party (which was a life saver considering we changed up our order of people!). AJ rolled with the punches and accommodated our guest's crazy request while at the same time keeping the party going (which is not easy when wedding guest's want to make random speeches and kill the mood)! Any big move (like a random speech) AJ made sure it was ok with Jay and I before hand. There wasn't one song played that I didn't like! EVERYONE danced.. old, young, wait staff, etc. BEST DJ I've experienced. Almost all of my guests have commented about our ''dance wedding'' and how much fun they had. My favorite memory of the entire wedding was being introduced at the reception, which AJ played a huge roll in! AJ is professional, reliable, and most of all TONS OF FUN!

AJ did both the music at our ceremony as well as our reception and everything was absolutely amazing! Everyone had such a great time dancing at the wedding, especially my 7 year old nephew who did not leave the dance floor the whole night! I highly recommend AJ to anyone who is looking for a DJ in the area.

I had Brandon as my DJ from Ascend Entertainment. He did a great job from start to finish. He played all the right songs at the right time and def. kept people entertained. They are extrememly prompt with responding to emails and questions that you may have. I would def recommend them to anyone and would def use them again if i ever needed a DJ:)

AJ was great from day 1. Helpful with answering question and giving suggestions. Also used him for a photobooth, which gave me some really great photos & memories from the wedding.

AJ and his team were the absolute BEST. Every time I emailed AJ, whether it was 8am or 11pm, he ALWAYS got back to me within an hour or two. He did everything he could to make my reception AMAZING. I requested a mix of 80s, 90s and current music, along with several specific requests and that was exactly what I got. All of my guests were dancing their booties off and several people told me how great the DJs were. AJ is so nice and you will love working with him on your wedding music. I would recommend him to everyone I know!

We couldn't of been more pleased with AJ's DJ-ing skills!! He took the lead, was an amazing emcee...provided full service from beginning to end. Since our wedding was on NYE - he ordered our party favors. He also provided us with the biggest hit of the night - the photo booth. He printed out photo strips for guests and us, and made a scrapbook with all the pics, were guests could sign/wish us love. HE IS THE BEST DJ IN CHARLESTON or wherever you want him to come - plain AMAZING...he MADE our wedding without a doubt!! You can't go wrong hiring him, he is a must have! THANK YOU AJ :)

My husband and I had a five star wedding all the way and AJ, our DJ, is no exception! He was simply AWESOME! Not only does he know how to keep the party pumping, but he was a blast to work with and incredibly helpful when we needed song recommendations for different portions of our wedding reception. As with most weddings, things did not go perfectly as planned, but AJ was able to keep things rolling as if nothing had gone wrong. With AJ helping run the show, I was one happy bride without a worry in the world and truly had a blast at my own wedding. I would recommend AJ and Ascend Entertainment to any couple planning their unforgettable night and seriously want a party to remember.

They did a nice job at entertaining, but didn't accommodate all requests and was rather brusque with other wedding vendors and guests. Overall though, easy for the bride and groom to work with and some requests were accommodated.

AJ was beyond amazing. He was beyond perfect for the wedding we wanted. He first gave us a military discount, then threw in a lot of extras including extra lighting and helped us with the wedding music. We trusted him so much we let him choose all the music for the cocktail reception that took place while the bridal party had some time with the photographer. He also let us be the first to try his Photobooth, and let me tell you... it was GREAT! It was such a big hit and I had looked all over to find a photobooth like the ones we had in NY (where we are from). It was your typical "mall booth" but bigger and better. He provided us with A LOT of fun props to use in the photobooth. He also provided someone to work the booth and help guests make a photobooth book for us to bring home with us the night of the wedding. Back to the DJ aspect- I didn't get our music requests to him until the week before the wedding and he was able to find everything we wanted and also made sure to play all the songs we wanted to hear the night of our wedding. It was perfect, I couldn't have expected anything better. By the end of the night he felt like one of the family to us. Our guests are still raving about him and I can't stop thanking him for all that he did. Aj adjusted very quickly and easily to all the things that happened at the wedding: -The garter retrieving... My husbands groomsmen and fraternity brothers picked him up (like a keg stand) and made him get the garter with no hands. AJ had no clue this was going to happen but was so quick to get involved in it once it began. After our BM caught the garter he also had to do the same thing to my MOH who caught the bouqet. AJ picked up on how excited everyone was about all of this going on so he furthered the activity and reversed the roles. He had the female place the garter onto the male while everyone yelled "higher! Higher!". It was a moment I'll never forget and AJ was a huge reason for all of it happenning. -Someone requested the song "Love Shack" which the Groom HATES! We had forgotten to put it on the list so when it came on I looked at him and made a sign to stop the song and he made a joke about it and switched to a song we had requested. I am very impressed by his work and wish I could have another party just to have him there. He was so fun to have around it didn't even feel like I had just met him, he honestly felt like one of the family.

We had such an awesome wedding reception thanks to AJ! He was willing to take requests from any/all family & friends, was hilarious throughout the whole reception, and is such an amazing bargin! Excellent prices and is a genuinely good guy who truly cares about his customers. He was willing to change/create an awesome first dance for us the last week of the wedding for no additional charge. Would recommend him for anyone who wants to have a party to remember!

Overall AJ was a good DJ for our wedding, however I do have a few complaints. Before the wedding we went over what type of music we wanted to be played. My husband and I had some very specific songs we wanted played during the night and even mailed him a CD. I never heard any of the songs we requested played. Also, during the reception I went up and specifically asked for one of the songs... I never heard it. After dinner everyone had a great time dancing, but I have to say AJ may be better for someone who doesn't really have a specific idea about the music they want played during the night.

AJ Snow is the #1 DJ in Charleston. He is so full of personality and knows how to keep the good times going. He even went out of his way to help us with our ceremony music and wedding dance music.
