Hired for day of coordination.
Pros: Jacqueline was friendly, helped prior by walking through some details. Helped solidify schedule. She did a good job setting up, although some...
small details (candles on the head table not lit?) were oversights.
Cons: Jacqueline and her team were not communicative. She didn’t coordinate with any of my other vendors although I provided all of their contact info. My venue had a point of contact who Jacqueline said she’d reach out to, I had to text her and tell her to touch base the DAY before our wedding. Biggest let down was she kept promising she would send out texts to my bridal party with reminders of where to be day of, I provided all of their emails/phone numbers, it never happened. She was also nowhere to be found when I actually needed her on the wedding day.
I felt very much so that Jacqueline knows what to say and knows how to get contracts signed. Over promised and under delivered in my opinion. Simple communication is not too much to ask for with a vendor.
I would not recommend for day of coordinating. Besides helping with set up which I could have had my family do day of, hiring her was our biggest waste of money for our wedding.

we lived out of state but she stated she could provide the service we needed. Mistake 1) We provided the exact venue we wanted and the date it was available. After not hearing from her or her team for a month or so we finally called the venue ourselves to find out that she didn’t book it and that the day we originally selected was booked by another couple. We then called her and she mentioned she was waiting to call us once she had other venues picked out. Mistake 2) we provided all of the emails and addresses for our guests and were told that her and her team would send out wedding invitations. We learned from our guests (many of which were from out of state)that they never received any form of a wedding invitation. We were the ones sharing our wedding details with our guests. We told her we were on a condensed timeline and she agreed she could send out invites, and plan our wedding. Overall, she and her team were difficult to get ahold of and were not upfront about when they would fall short. As a couple that lived many miles away, her lack of communication and follow through made it a very stressful time that we thought a wedding planner would alleviate. Im just providing a couple of examples of how her and her team made pretty basic mistakes in planning our wedding. There were many other missteps and poorly handled situations that I won’t include. The best thing that came out of her wedding planning was booking a great DJ. The DJ and bartender were our saving grace.

I hired Jacqueline/Nikki for day of coordination since all my family was out of state. The purpose was to help coordinate decorations, vendors, etc. The venue had a very tight time...
line for setup and everything went perfect. As the mother of the bride I had zero stress and Nikki handled everything. Even coordinated our final meeting for the day before the wedding since we were not in town yet. She took all the decorations at that time. I couldn’t have been happier how everything went. The ceremony went flawless with her help and made sure guests and vendors were where everyone needed to be at certain times. She also managed the gifts and ensured everything was locked up while everyone was dancing. I can’t not express how hiring them made my life easier and allowed me to enjoy my daughters day.

I originally had her doing my hair and makeup, then about 3 months before our wedding I found out she had a contractor doing this instead. Prices were all the same because I signed a contract, however the lack of communication really bothered me.
