Ascension Media Group

Nick with Ascension Media Group was our DJ for our September 5, 2020 wedding. We decided to move forward with our scheduled Wedding through the COVID pandemic and Ascension Media Group was amazing to work with! Nick was extremely reliable, flexible, and fun! He was very quick in answering any questions I had for him, was able to provide recommendations when I was unsure about what I wanted, and was professional throughout the entire planning process. His prices were extremely reasonable and he had multiple packages you could chose from that best suit your situation. I ended up forgetting about the form he asks to be filled out so he has the bridal party names, song requests, do not play items, etx. and he was super understanding and was flexible and worked with me to set up a call to go through everything a couple days before the wedding. Which, during that point I decided to change our grand entrance song and first dance song and he made sure that he came prepared with the songs we wanted even though I changed them last minute! Throughout the day of the wedding he was prompt and set up on time, he kept the mood going throughout the evening, played appropriate songs through dinner, and after all the dances and toasts he kept the party going until close! Due to COVID, we had to shut down the bar at 10, but people stayed on the dance floor for at least another hour and a half! Nick ended the evening by playing the closing song we requested and he sent us a thank you card after the event which was so sweet! I would HIGHLY recommend Nick to anyone looking for a DJ in the Des Moines/Ames area. He truly helped make our wedding perfect and I do not have a single thing I would ask to change!
