Throughout the planning process I asked a lot of questions, and Ashley and her team were always quick to respond and incredibly kind and helpful every time. When they stepped in before the wedding, they took the reins, coordinated with our vendors, and made sure every detail was accounted for. On the wedding day, I felt completely stress-free knowing everything was in their hands. I was able to truly relax and enjoy the day with my husband, family, and friends instead of worrying about logistics. If you're someone who wants to plan your wedding but still have professionals make sure everything runs smoothly, the Event Management package is absolutely the way to go. And if you're not as crazy about planning as I am, I'm sure they would be just as amazing to work with to plan your entire event from start to finish!

They went above and beyond on the day of our wedding, with 3–4 team members onsite ensuring everything ran smoothly. Literally nothing went wrong — and if it did, I had no idea because they handled everything so seamlessly. Even though our wedding was small (just 45 guests), they treated it like a royal affair. e services I received day of my event. I am type A and had everything planned, all we needed was someone to execute it. We had various communications about my desires, and it seemed it was understood clearly prior. I sadly was not able to have Ashley present herself, and I was sent multiple assistants instead. They did not seem to be prepared at all, and went as far as not even knowing the name of my groom or wedding party during rehearsal practice. Any questions I had were met with an attitude and confusion, and I had several guests complain to me about their interaction with the planners. Even my other vendors asked me all day if I was okay due to the treatment they saw and the lack of preparedness. For example, my flower girls didn't even have flowers to throw down the aisle after I asked 3X before walking down the aisle if someone filled them. I also asked to be hidden from the guests to ensure my dress was a surprise reveal, and all the guests were escorted past me in a room with glass windows. My mother, who was undergoing chemo treatments at the time, was talked to so poorly for asking the planner to move flowers out of the bird baths 5 mins before my wedding started (which we were told wasn't allowed by the venue they had worked at 1000's of times and we would be fined) that she cried before I walked down the aisle. I brought up my concerns to Ashley after on a phone call and was more or less told I was lying about the treatment towards me and my family. If I would have let it, it could've easily ruined my day. I hired this group as locals recommended them, but I sadly did not have that same experience. I hope no one else has the same experience after paying the thousands of dollars for services on the most important day of your life. They are good at what they do, but I definitely think you should pay extra to have Ashley personally there to avoid things like this. However, I was even more disappointed I didn't even get an apology for the issues that occurred.

We were completely lost on vendors before our meeting with her and she hooked us up with all the premier vendors in the Grand Strand and Charleston areas. This plan worked best for my now wife and I because we both wanted to be very involved in the planning and coordinating process. We worked with Ashley back and forth with questions that came up and she was always helpful and delighted to be of assistance. I have never seen a team handle logistics on the week leading up to our wedding and the day of better than this team. We did not have to worry about anything the month of and was only bothered with logistics when it was a last resort issue that needed our final decision. Unfortunately, we had some weather issues that day and Ashley worked with our vendors to come up with the best plans possible for us to be able to get all the pictures and videos possible. Once the question got to us it was these are the two best options we have worked out and we just had to choose. One of our favorite special touches they included was being presented with our favorite drinks right after we walked down the aisle, it was great! We were also surprised with an entire album shared to us of all the pictures their team took from setting up to breaking down our events. There are over 800 pictures and videos that were amazing to see how our day was created and the efforts they took to make our day exactly what we had been planning. We 10/10 recommend them and hope to work with them in the future for other events.

I would be remiss to not mention the million little things Ash and her team did throughout the day to make it THAT much better – Saving hor d’oeuvres for my husband and I to snack on during photos, having our favorite cocktails waiting for us at the end of the aisle, holding down my dress to get the perfect sunset photos, and even laying out our After Party outfits in our hotel suite. Ash truly goes above and beyond and allowed us to be fully present on our wedding day, soaking in every moment. On top of everything, Ash’s team managed to capture over 500 pictures and videos of our wedding day that she sent to us the very next morning, allowing us to relive the day over and over again. We received so many compliments from our guests on how well-executed the day was – We’re not entirely sure how we would have pulled this off without Ash and her team (and we honestly had SO much fun with them!). I could go on-and-on, but if you are reading this and you haven’t sent that inquiry e-mail yet, do it now… We love Ash Events!
