Ash Smith Photo Studio is a wedding, elopement, and family photographer based in Philadelphia, PA. This talented photographer works with you to beautifully document your special day. With a natural and contemporary take on wedding photography, Ashley commits your important day to artistic photographs that stand the test of time.
Ashley has worked as a photographer for over ten years. After completing an MFA in Photography, Video & Related Media in 2015, Ashley developed her passion for photography both behind the camera and in front of the classroom as an art professor. She brings her enthusiasm and joy to each event, blending into the crowd to create images of raw and unfiltered moments as well as directing you through traditional portraits.
Ashley offers engagement sessions to get to know you before your wedding day, but is always open to have some chats on the phone instead if an engagement shoot isn't your style. On the day itself, this creative is dedicated to you- helping to make you feel supported, and to make your day memorable, stress-free, fun, and intimate. Your final images will be delivered to you digitally with an option for albums or prints to share and treasure.

explained that I really didn't want too many posed pictures since I thought they tended to look fake. Ashley listed to my wants, and incorporated that into the "posed" pictures we did take. She managed to ensure we still looked like we were alive even in the more stiff family shots.
We had Ashely as our main photographer and Candice as our second shooter. Candice went with the gentlemen in the morning for their getting ready and captured all the fun and excitement. Between the two of them, they probably took over a thousand pictures. The final pictures were delivered through a secure website that was really easy to use and share with others. I am so glad I hired Ashley as my wedding photographer. It was one less thing I had to stress about on the day of, as she clearly knew what she was doing and how to take the best photos.
