Asher & Anchor offers a number of packages and add-ons to get the ball rolling on the big day. Each option has been carefully designed to suit different needs. Consultations can be scheduled two months prior to the wedding, which allows time to review the couples' timeline and check in with vendors. She will oversee everything on the day to promote a smooth flow of events. This includes lending a hand with photo coordination, bringing flowers to the wedding party, and much more. The next package option includes some additional services. It is ideal for to-be-weds who have the bigger details of the day under control. Fran will assist in referring any vendors who haven’t been checked off the list, assist with guest accommodations and transportation requirements, assist in creating floor plans and layouts, and more. Finally, couples seeking the full works can opt for the Something New package, which offers limitless communication throughout the process. She can source vendors, write to-do lists, and advise on design and decor. Fran can also help with organizing other wedding-related events. Soon-to-be-weds planning pre-wedding parties can ask about their Spectacular Soirees package.

Hello there! I’m Fran Salmons, and I am the founder/owner of Asher & Anchor. I am originally from New Jersey, having settled in Texas the last 19 years. I am 100% Italian, so I have that Italian mom mentality where everything is organized and detailed (can anyone say Type A), multi-tasker (aka juggler), who brings an abundance of caring, concern, and compassion to ensure that everyone in the “family” is happy and content during their special celebration. the most dedicated individual we have ever worked with, and did everything in her power to make our day feel special. Not only did she recommend AMAZING vendors, she did everything to make sure that their contracts were solid and their pricing was fair.
She also had great ideas throughout the entire process on how to make the wedding day smooth while not blowing the budget on things that no one would ever really notice. Our parents are not here in Austin, which is why is was so helpful to have Fran involved with us on our special day. She gave amazing advice without being pushy, understood what was most important to us on our wedding day, and made sure that every vendor was executing everything perfectly.
I cannot recommend Fran enough. If you are planning a wedding, you should ABSOLUTELY hire Fran. We interviewed a LOT of wedding planners in our search for the perfect fit, and there is not a single one I could recommend other than Fran. Thank you Fran, from the bottom of our hearts, for making our day perfect. Choose Fran to be your coordinator, it is a decision I guarantee you will not regret.

stin was crucial for me as a bride. When I wasn't sure where to get my dress altered, Fran pointed me toward a wonderful tailor. And when many HMU artists told me they didn't do pre-contract trials, Fran reassured me that the artists' team we hired had never let her down before. She was right -- I felt stunning on our big day.
As for running the show day-of, Fran perfectly balanced being approachable and also ensuring excellence.

it. They gave me three referrals, and thank goodness Fran was one of them. From our very first intake call, I knew she was the one. She was sharp, detail-oriented, and asked all the right questions. From that moment on, I felt like someone was genuinely on my team, fully in control and looking out for us.
Fran’s planning package went far beyond what I expected. She helped with room blocks, vendor referrals, timeline management, and more. Honestly, looking back, she’s the reason we had such an incredible videographer and DJ—both were her referrals, and both were amazing. Her vendor partnerships are clearly built on mutual respect, which makes sense because Fran herself is such a phenomenal partner.
She handled everything from quirky ideas I threw her way to last-minute details with total poise and professionalism. The timeline was executed down to the minute, and I never once had to stress about what was happening next. Her communication was next-level—so responsive, often within the hour—and I even knew when she was out of town, which speaks volumes about her transparency and care.
On the actual day, Fran was a total force. She had a commanding presence that made everyone feel at ease and ensured everything ran smoothly. I felt so much peace knowing she was behind the scenes making the magic happen.
If you're debating whether to hire a planner—do it. And if you have the chance to work with Fran—run, don’t walk. She was a true gift to our wedding and to us as a couple. We are forever grateful!

Her relationship to each vendor made planning so smooth. She was well organized, thoughtful, kind, always thinking ahead, and communicative. I have recommended her to every bride I know in the Austin and Houston area and will absolutely continue to do so. Her prices are EXTREMELY reasonable. What stood out to us during that phone call was how on top of things Fran was; from details about certain things on the wedding day, to trends that are popular in recent weddings, she really knew her stuff because she has such great experience! The month before our wedding, Fran was very involved in emailing us about the timeline, floorplan, and checking in with all of our vendors (that we didn't need to handle thanks to her)! She truly made the month before our wedding less stressful. She was a great partner in collaborating on the timeline as well. When it came to the day of, Fran was like another member of our family. She was seemingly everywhere all at once, and helped take care of hiccups (because there are always hiccups) with a positive attitude! We even had one of the groomsmen kind of give her a 'hard' time (really in a playful way), and Fran played right along with him and managed him and other guests perfectly. She was such a great help in every way we needed her to be, and we're so happy we chose her to help make our day a success. We highly recommend going with Fran for your special day!

the way for months. She is incredibly organized and detailed, had lightning fast responses to any email question, and seemed prepared for just about any situation. After we booked each vendor, she contacted all of them and handled just about everything (when to arrive, where to park/set up, etc.) so that we didn't have to worry about a thing. She created a giant day-of-timeline that I was constantly referencing myself so that I knew what was happening and also what I should be working on. She answered my small silly questions ("Can I just play the same song on repeat instead of picking 2 songs?") and she asked me questions I would have never thought about ("Are you planning on doing any of these special dances or pictures?"). Our wedding day went flawlessly (at least that I'm aware of, which is good enough for me) and we were able to be stress free on our wedding day because Fran was super on top of everything! Not to mention, she is positive and kind and has a "get it done" personality so I was never afraid to ask her for help. You cannot go wrong by booking Fran as your wedding coordinator and I will continue to recommend her to everyone who is planning a wedding. Thank you, Fran!

her. She immediately made me feel at ease because I knew she had been doing this awhile and knew what vendors to work with. What I also loved about her was she was honest and to the point when I asked her opinion on things. I love working with people who have experience, know what they are doing, and don't try to sell you on something you don't need. Fran was always on top of the details during our planning stages and was so organized. I knew when the day of our wedding came that she had everything handled and I could breath easy knowing she was in control. The wedding was absolutely perfect and it all came together amazingly because of Fran.
I would absolutely work with her again, and refer her to any future brides!

Fran was a life-saver. She communicated with me quickly and frequently, and she answered all of my concerns related to the tiniest stuff (what time should I change my dress, etc.)....
On the day of, she helped me set up all the deco, made sure my confetti was allowed by the venue (yep, tiny stuff), and made sure we followed the timeline. What I appreciate Fran the most was she really went beyond and above for us. She offered to bring the cylinder vases for my candles; she even brought us an extra tablecloth that makes my sweetheart table amazing. Whatever problem I encountered, Fran could solve it. I didn't have bobby pins for my veil; Fran had them. My husband couldn't find a lint roller, Fran had it. And her price is extremely affordable as well. She's really a must for your wedding.

perfect fit for our wedding. My husband and I don’t live in Texas so we were looking for a coordinator that would help with giving recommendations for vendors and serve as a contact person with them- and from the first day, she did just that. All of our guests were from out of town so she also assisted with creating hotel blocks and booking transportation- this flowed perfectly during our wedding weekend.
Fran responded to my emails and questions (no matter how silly) very quickly and always with patience. Importantly, she eased my concerns with some bumps on the road during the planning process.
Fast forward to wedding day, Fran was so on top of everything and assured that we stayed perfectly on time throughout the entire day and night of the wedding. She was the first to arrive and last to leave the venue on the wedding day. With a wedding party of almost 20 people, Fran took control of them and made our ceremony more magical than I would have ever hoped. (She especially worked magic controlling the 10 groomsmen lol) She even implemented last minute changes seamlessly, without skipping a beat. She would periodically update me with how things were going and check in with my husband and I to assure everything was flowing as planned.
I do know that I will miss emailing back and fourth with Fran- working with her this past year and a half has been a true pleasure and I wholeheartedly recommend her to any other bride in the area!

She helped me focus on narrowing down the activities, gave me her advices with her experience at other wedding, and helped me contact vendors. She helped me soo so much with the wedding planning process. On our wedding day, she made sure everything go on as in the timeline and decorate as I wanted. I LOVE THIS WOMAN. Honestly, if something went wrong at the wedding…I have no idea about it. She was truly a life saver on the day of the wedding and leading up to it.

5 years had passed away a month before my husband were getting married and as many dog owners would understand, I took it pretty hard. It was hard to focus on all the small details and my brain was fried!
Fran took the reins and completely made our day so magical. From setting up, answering guest questions, dealing with the vendors, answering wedding party questions, clean up, and even dealing with a feisty drunken bridesmaid…she did the damn thing better than I could have ever wished for.
I’m forever grateful to have hired this woman for my wedding and my only regret is not hiring her sooner to have assisted with more with the entire planning process. Whenever my husband and I decide to do a vow renewal, I will definitely be booking Fran for those services!

ob making sure everyone knew where to be and when. On the day of the wedding, I assume she handled everything well because I was able to enjoy a perfect day and was not bothered issues. I know my husband had a couple more interactions during the night with her than I did when he tried to handle something logistical and she would come up and tell him to go away (in a good way) and go enjoy the night because she had it covered. I wish she was around more in the final moments of getting ready before things really started rolling. It was a chaotic 20 min and I could have used some help.

She even went to my wedding venue to do a walkthrough since I am out of state! For the day of the wedding, Fran kept the day moving along, even though we were behind schedule due to weather. She kept the day moving smoothly, and was super helpful in making last minute decisions. I cannot recommend Fran enough for your wedding!

I had great confidence on the wedding day that she could handle the details, even with an ever changing landscape! The wedding was a lovely event and when we left the venue, everything was magically packed in our vehicle for departure. Fran was an asset for our wedding especially considering I live out of state and this was basically a destination wedding!

's challenging to keep track of the dozens of major and minor details that need attention , especially on the wedding day. Fran handled EVERYTHING with such amazing organization, professionalism, maturity and grace. She did not get rattled while going in ten different directions, which as mother-of-the-bride I greatly appreciated because she kept me calm.
Her communication with the wedding party, venue coordinators and all vendors was excellent. In advance, she developed a detailed timeline that kept everything moving throughout the evening. Even guests noticed how well she conducted the flow in such a non-intrusive and friendly manner.
At the end of the evening, every single item from the bride and groom suites was boxed, packaged and directed to the right vehicle. And let's just say, those rooms are pretty chaotic with lots of belongings strewn about. All of the items I brought for the guest table and memorial table were ready to go. Honestly, she did not miss anything. She kept her eye on the card box and made sure it was placed directly in the right person's hands at the end of the night.
Fran, we are grateful to you and couldn't have had such a memorable wedding day without your incredible help. Thank you so much! I just recommended you to a friend and will do so again and again.
