About this vendor
It’s hard to put into words how much we love what we do. It ignites a fire inside our soul to be able to witness people experience what may be one of the greatest, most emotional days of their lives. We live and breathe the couples that give us the opportunity to continue doing what we love so dearly. We believe in having a personal connection with every couple we work with. You’re our friends, not our clients.
We believe in capturing the moments in between. Capturing the happily unplanned doesn’t happen with a pose, it happens when everyone is comfortable enough to just let loose and be themselves. You deserve so much more than a “look at me and smile” picture, you deserve pictures that are going to capture the essence of who you are. On your wedding day, if you’re the bride or groom, you’ll easily miss 70% of what happens on your big day. Family members hugging, kids dancing, missed tears, and the many laughs and genuine smiles that your day brings. In essence, we totally don’t care to creep in a bush and shamelessly take pictures of your loved ones just being who they are.

The most memorable moment was when I had an issue with my dress, and Emily helped crisis manage with fast thinking, an uplifting spirit and the ultimate flexibility with our photo timeline for the day. It wouldn’t have been the same without her!

of COVID, but when I questioned an elopement they jumped into action and flew across the country and made my elopement the day of my dreams. They are true artists who I promise will make your wedding day perfect. They are funny, professional, kind, and truly care about their clients. Also, the photos they captured are gorgeous and will always be treasured. As an interracial couple, photography was one of our biggest worries, but they nailed it. They made us look wonderful and were so fun to be around. You will not regret booking them.
If you’re wanting a intimate, dark/moody, and professional photographer, Asher & Emily are it! I basically feel in love with their work as soon as I came across them and booked the...
m the same day. Both our photos from our engagement and wedding were GORGEOUS and really set us apart from anyone else’s photos I’ve ever seen. Working with Asher was always fun because he always kept my husband and I laughing. I sent him several shots and ideas I wanted to try for our wedding and remembered every single one without any hesitation (TIP: do this because if there’s anything specific you want captured, you will not remember on your wedding day). Asher’s work is amazing and our gallery is BOMB! (Side note, Emily was not actually on the scene for our engagement shoot or wedding, but that never took away for our experience).
Asher and Emily are truly artists. If you want pictures that look natural and incredible, these are your people. Naturally my husband and I are awkward with pictures, they made us ...
look like models (but really though haha), what i also loved was that they were able to capture incredible moments at the reception that I wouldn't have thought about. All of my family loved them and a few asked if they could do their wedding as well.. They are funny and personable bunch and I truly had a wonderful experience with them.

Photography was our top priority and they delivered!!!
Having Asher and Emily as our photographers was the easiest and best decision of our wedding. From the engagement photo session (if you love dogs they brought their fur baby which ...
made our session even more incredibly fun LOL) to our big day they made sure they truly brought their expertise, creativity and artistic vision. They are a power couple but the funniest humans at that, they kept the laughter always going which helped the whole wedding party to relax and just have fun even when there was so many other things to stress out about. Looking through our final gallery we couldn’t be any happier!
If you haven’t booked Asher and Emily yet, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?! From the time you send your inquiry, Asher and Emily make you feel like friends. They spend so much time with ...
each couple getting to know everything about them. Every gallery is filled with pictures unique to their couples, and you can guarantee your pictures will be unlike anyone else’s. On top of being the most talented photographers I’ve ever seen, they truly bring so much joy and positivity to the day. Every moment felt like a party. Choosing Asher and Emily to be a part of our wedding day was the best decision I made!

a joy to be around, and I loved having her with us for our big day. The final product was truly phenomenal! They are so great at what they do, and it’s obvious they genuinely care about their work & their couples. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a photographer!
Asher and Emily are the quintessential photographers. We have partnered with Asher and Emily throughout some of life's most important milestones including engagement, wedding, and ...
maternity. Additionally, Asher and Emily have taken photos of our son throughout his first year of life. Their spectacular work has filled our home with visual memories that we will treasure forever.
Each time we have worked with Asher and Emily the experience has been an absolute pleasure. Previously, photo sessions had always been a bit of an awkward experience. However, Asher and Emily are true professionals -- they have a knack for naturally evoking real emotion and capturing authentic moments. Further, their eye for finding shooting locations that will work for a photograph is uncanny. They are a great team whose strengths complement each other for all situations.
Finally, Asher and Emily demonstrate the utmost professionalism. Communication is always clear and effective (and often hilarious). Photos are always delivered timely. And the quality of their work speaks for itself. We HIGHLY recommend the investment in using Asher and Emily. We certainly will continue to partner with them as long as they'll have us! Thanks Asher and Emily!
Words can almost not describe how incredibly thankful my new husband and I are that we found and hired Asher and Emily to photograph our wedding. They are the perfect blend of rela...
xed and professional. Photography was our number one priority when it came to wedding planning and we hit GOLD with them. Communication was amazing leading up to the wedding, on the actual day, and even afterwards as they continued to follow up after delivering our album to make sure we were happy (we were, of course!). I was so impressed and grateful for how they just took charge on the day of the wedding and directed every one where to go and what to do so they could get the photos they needed. They were expertly prepared and had no questions on the day even when I felt like I had no idea what was going on! I think I got more comments and praises on how awesome my photographers were then anything else, seriously. Asher and Emily are the epitome of professionals in their field and if you are even considering hiring them, just DO IT. You will absolutely be happy and thankful and relieved you did.
Holy cow these photographers are worth every penny! They do everything in their power to make you feel comfortable with yourself and become awesome friends along the way. They trav...
el anywhere, work with you, give you advice, and genuinely root for you when you walk down the aisle. I’ve only gotten my sneak peek photos as my wedding was a week ago but every day I get more and more excited to see what they’ve created. They are true artists and love what they do! I can not recommend them enough!!!
By far the sweetest, whole-hearted, talented photographers around. To say they capture exactly how the day feels is an understatement. With each picture they send back, I feel like...
I'm transported right back into that very moment. From the second we first talked about our vision with them, we clicked and knew that we each had very similar styles and this was going to be a perfect match. I never could have anticipated how incredible they really were and they have far surpassed our expectations. Worth every penny, worth every mile. I'd choose Asher and Emily to shoot every big moment of my life from now until the end.

They took amazing photos that truly captured the memories we made that day. PLUS, they are easy to work with, flexible, and want what is best for you. We wouldn't recommend anyone else!
Where to start!? Asher and Emily both are amazing as individuals and as a team!! They were super quick and responsive when contacting and they treat you more as a friend rather tha...
n like a typical client. Very friendly, kind and funny. My fiance was not looking forward to having our photos done and is pretty introverted but he raves to everyone how much fun he had with both our engagement and wedding sessions. Emily helped to make our day go super smoothly and was able to adapt to our slight change in ceremony venue due to weather. Our photos turned out better than we ever could have ever expected!! I was also very surprised with how quickly the turn around time was (Emily sent us a preview the same night of our wedding!) as well as the quantity as they give back. They make it very easy to to access your photos as well. I would/will reccomend them to everyone!
WHATEVER YOU DO, HIRE ASHER AND EMILY FOR YOUR WEDDING RIGHT NOW! Seriously- photos are how you will remember your day so why not choose THE BEST? They don't just take your photos,...

eautiful, out of this world perfect pictures. It was so amazing to see the LOVE everywhere within our wedding day. We literally looked at each other after seeing our sneak peek and were like- how many photos of ourselves is it okay to have hanging in our house? Do we need to limit ourselves to 45? Can we just hang every single one? Unreal talent. You would be crazy not to book Asher & Emily.
You would be lucky to get Asher and Emily! They were the first wedding vendor I booked, and my now husband and I always say they were the easiest/best choice. We LOVE them. No one ...

t the memories we had on our day. We purchased the package that included two photographers and it was the best decisions we have ever made. The style of their photography is what made us fall in love with them. They were patient, caring, and professional throughout the entire process. I gave them the reins and they went above and beyond with our wedding photos. I would highly recommend Asher & Emily Photography to anyone. It is memories captured by them that will leave us speechless for a lifetime! They capture every moment you forgot about and that is what was truly fascinating about them. I can never thank them enough for making my day so perfect!

grapher that fit my style and once I saw Asher and Emily's work I knew I had to have them for our wedding! From booking to the final day they have been great to work with and always let me know ahead of time the schedule of events...because I had no clue what to do!! We even weren't able to do our engagement session before the wedding, but Asher and Emily were more than welcome to accommodate that for us, and I'm so glad we waited because we got to do our shoot in the snow and bring our dog along! If you are looking for a fun photographer who is going to capture those special moments, Asher and Emily are your go to!! My husband and I didn't feel like a random stranger was taking our pictures the whole time, but a close friend! I could go on and on about how wonderful our experience with them was! I hope to work with them again in the future for any other special moments we have! Thank you so much Asher & Emily!!!!

One of the best wedding decisions we made (out of over 457)... hiring Asher & Emily. They captured so many of the special moments of our wedding day, provided hundreds of beautiful...
photos (it was hard to choose from so many that were frame-worthy), and were an absolute pleasure to work with. My friends and family are always commenting on their style and how well they interacted with our guests. They say a photo is worth a thousand words... just check out their galleries and let the photos speak for themselves!
Can I not give these two more than 5 stars?? They deserve 100 more. We felt so comfortable and you can tell that in every picture. Asher turned a not so photogenic area and made it...
look like 1 million bucks. He seriously made a water stained wall look good! Wonderful communication, never hasty or short. He always made me feel like I was the only wedding he had to shoot that year. When it’s quite honestly the opposite. Couldn’t of asked for better pictures I promise Asher and Emily Photography will not disappoint.
I found Asher and Emily through a sponsored ad on Instagram and I am beyond glad I did. They took our engagement and wedding pictures and I’m overly obsessed with their work (and t...
hem). We drove from VA to TN to meet them for our engagement pictures and it was like we had always been friends. My fiancé, at the time, and I were both SO nervous for our photos but by the time Asher started taking our pictures, we were both at ease. They made things so easy and nothing was awkward about it. Our engagement photos are all over our house because I couldn’t begin to even pick a favorite. We just had two big canvases made of our wedding photos for over our bed. I will forever recommend Asher and Emily and hopefully we can have them take more pictures of us in the future.
Asher and Emily were so great to work with for our engagement session and our wedding. Their partnership in their photography business is spot on and they work together to capture ...
the best moments of your special day. We will never use any other photographers. Love yall. ❤
My husband and I don't really like to be in the spotlight, but wanted pictures of our wedding that would be amazing. After all, that's the part that lasts as long after we are gone...
. Asher and Emily have the amazing ability to capture the essence of the couple combined with the atmosphere of the day. The end result of their artistic ability is stunning. Plus, they may come in on business, but they leave as family. I recommend this dynamic duo for any destination wedding.
These two photographers are true artists. While looking through their work, we became excited about the potential pictures we might receive. Somehow, they exceeded our "crazy high...
" expectations. We were both amazed at how they captured, not only the beautiful scenery of our mountain top ceremony, but the emotion and overall experience of that perfect day.
Every moment was captured from multiple angles, which gives you multiple perspectives. They made us feel very comfortable during those intimate moments, and as a result, we got some amazing shots.
We received our pictures much faster than we expected and couldn't believe how great they were. When we look through the images of that day, it's as if we are reliving the whole experience. They gave us an unbelievable gift that we will cherish forever.
They are professional, artistic, creative, very friendly, and overall awesome people. Plainly put, you should hire them. Even though we only spent a couple of hours around them, I can honestly say you won't regret it.
in love is an understatement when it comes to my engagement/wedding album. Asher & Emily made us feel so comfortable and did an incredible job capturing the most beautiful moments ...
before, during, and after our "I do's". Nothing felt unnatural or awkwardly posed. All photos look honest and true; each of them represent our relationship beautifully. Would highly recommend this fun loving, multi talent couple.
We have worked with a handful of photographers throughout the years for family photos, but after booking Asher & Emily for our family's last session -- I knew this couple would be ...
our wedding photographers as well.
Asher and Emily planned my engagement shoot with my now fiance and captured the moment he proposed. They also have gone above and beyond to be supportive, informative, and flexible. I had initially planned an elopement in Asheville, but the plan has changed to host the wedding in Kingsport. They have been so kind and helpful throughout the process. They will treat you as if you are family, and they work quickly! If you don't know how to pose -- which we don't, having another couple to actually demonstrate poses is so helpful.
I adore the way Asher edits his photos. As a young photographer, the talent he has is remarkable.
We did not know Asher & Emily before our wedding, but it certainly felt like we did. They were so receptive to everything we wanted. It was also very affordable. We eloped and seve...
ral of the other photographers we spoke to wanted to charge us as if it were a wedding, but they were willing to work with us. Asher also didn't get annoyed with me when I changed my mind a dozen times about how long we would need them.
We were incredibly happy with the photos and still can't believe we found someone so wonderful and flexible and sweet.
Also, they will shoot gay weddings, y'all 👭
