We are so happy we picked Asher to photograph our wedding. Going in to selecting a wedding photographer we knew we wanted a someone who focused on utilizing natural light, was well-organized, clearly communicated, and could give us guidance on how to act / pose for photos. Asher delivered on all of our requirements and more. She brings a wonderful professionalism combined with a positive energy to the photo shoot. The package we purchased include a one hour engagement shoot, which was also a great experience and allowed us to work with Asher for the first time and for her to get to know us, our relationship and how we interact to make sure that came through in our photos. Leading up to the day of the wedding, Asher held multiple calls with us to align on what we wanted, and was quite flexible when we added on a videographer toward the last minute. She also did a great job corralling our family and friends on the day of our wedding to ensure we got all the photos we wanted with those important to us. It was great to work with her.

Of all the decisions wedding planning presents, choosing Asher as our photographer came from the gut AND heart. I immediately connected with Asher from our first phone call and while she was formally our 'vendor', she soon became an extension of our bridal party. She is tastefully meticulous and efficiently communicative, which was especially appreciated on our wedding day but also throughout the planning process. Asher was fantastic to work with for our wedding photos. She guided us through the entire process and was incredibly helpful in composing a shot list and guiding us on what to expect from her on the wedding day. During the event, she captured every moment perfectly without ever being intrusive, and the final prints are all truly stunning. Through the process, she was incredibly responsive in answering all of our questions and was incredibly flexible in scheduling meetings/walk throughs/etc. Overall, I would highly recommend Asher to anyone seeking a wedding photographer, and would absolutely seek her out in the future to photograph any event.

Wish there are more stars to give... It was our pleasure to work with Asher and have her in our engagement photoshoot! Asher was patient listening to what we were looking for and giving so many tips for us to pose and enjoy our moments during the photo session. I love how she frequently checked in with us via emails before the photo day. If I had to recommend a single vendor out of my A++++ vendor team, it would undeniably be Asher. Aside from being incredibly sweet and a fantastic photographer, Asher is detail-oriented, meticulous and organized. We first met Asher during our engagement shoot in Central Park. Somehow she made two photo-awkward humans feel comfortable in front of a camera. When she delivered the gallery to us our minds were blown! Those photos remain some of our favorite photos ever. About three months from our wedding date, Asher arranged a call to discuss timeline and details. Since I was planning our wedding by myself, I was dreading creating a wedding day schedule. Asher took the lead and started creating the perfect wedding-day timeline for me. On our wedding day, Asher and her assistant Colleen arrived early to scope out the lighting and jumped right into flat lays. What they both did for us on our wedding cannot be put into words. My bridesmaids couldn’t believe the attention to detail they witnessed from both Asher and Colleen. Six days after our wedding, Asher sent over a preview gallery that made every single family member speechless. Literally magazine worthy photos! Asher, we are so grateful for you and Colleen and we cannot wait for the full gallery. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

THESE ARE OUR DREAM WEDDING PHOTOS! Asher photographed our NYC wedding this summer and we are just in complete AWE! We spent hours and hours researching photographers and knew that Asher was our first choice. We were thrilled when she was available for our wedding day and the photos she captured are absolutely stunning!! She made my husband and I feel so comfortable on the big day and we had such a wonderful time taking all of our portraits with her. She had such a fast turnaround time - she even sent us a selection of previews while we were still on our Honeymoon in Italy! Asher was great in the pre-event meetings and flawlessly executed every request that I made on the wedding day. She captured all of the special moments that were important to us and was so patient capturing so many groupings with our large family. We will always CHERISH these BEAUTIFUL photographs. Amazing! Fantastic! We can not say enough great things about Asher and her team. We knew from the first intro call that we were going to be in good hands. Asher was absolutely fantastic to work with. From the planning process to the day of, Asher was a blast to work with. After we decided to use Asher, she held many planning calls with us to make sure she was prepared to capture everything we wanted on our special day. Asher is the best of the best. To say that I performed extensive due diligence on wedding photographers for months on end would be a gross understatement – from perusing every wedding publication for articles listing the best wedding photographers, to going down deep Instagram dives, to torturing my inner circle with portfolio after portfolio, to interviewing more photographers than either of us could count. I thank my lucky stars that we eventually hired a wedding planner who promptly pointed us in Asher’s direction. The rest is history. Asher’s work speaks for itself – she produces crisp, clean, beautiful, romantic, timeless, airy photos. She knows how to make even the most orchestrated portraits look organic and natural. She has incredible instinct when it comes to capturing candid shots that no one (except Asher) knows are coming. Asher’s attention to detail is unmatched. She’ll never let a good dress/shoe moment, tablescape, dessert table, floral arrangement or invitation suite go to waste. She makes it a point to inquire about personal touches you’ve taken the time to incorporate into your special day and then she takes the time to photograph them. She is calm, very cool, and even more collected. Asher is a calming presence amidst all the wedding chaos and stress. Admittedly, many things went wrong on our wedding day but Asher didn’t let on at all. We had torrential rain accompanied by 40 mph wind gusts, a constantly shifting timeline, late arrivals due to weather, and a HUGE wedding party but Asher remained unfazed and laser focused throughout. She even somehow had time to edit and display ~20 first look previews by the time our cocktail hour started and email them to us by the time we woke up the next morning – I’m convinced it was only to show us that she captured incredible photos despite the weather so we didn’t have to spend the next six weeks worrying about the final product. She knows what she’s doing, asks the right questions to gather the right information, thoughtfully curates a shot list and then expertly and effortlessly executes. Every. Single. Time. On a more administrative (but no less important) note, Asher is responsive, organized, methodical and reliable. She was always there to answer my questions about engagement shoot outfits, bridesmaids dress palettes, floral arrangements, bowtie and cummerbund prints, timelines, and the list goes on. I never once hesitated to email or text her when I had a question and she never once made me feel like my doing so was an imposition. Asher arrived early to all events and gave herself time to scout the location. She delivered all galleries on time or earlier than anticipated and they never, ever disappointed. Our rehearsal dinner and wedding galleries just recently came in and we were blown away during our first look through – we still don’t have the words to describe them. They are simply gorgeous. My family members who have seen the galleries so far haven’t stopped raving about how incredible the pictures are (and I haven’t even posted them on Instagram yet because I’m so overwhelmed by the volume + talent!). On a more personal note, my husband and I couldn’t have dreamt up a better person (or personality) to photograph us at each of our engagement/wedding milestones. Asher is not only a pleasure to be around but a genuinely good person who is as sweet as she is professional. In case I haven’t made it painfully clear, HIRE ASHER!!! You won’t regret it.

From start to finish our experience with Asher was everything her branding, Instagram, website, and reputation promised. She is confident, professional, warm, knowledgeable, creative, fun, and open to whatever your vision is. We had her shoot our elopement on the beach, and even if all we got were the preview photos, she would have still been worth every penny! Highly recommend

tl;dr Asher is amazing and I would definitely hire her ! From our very first meeting with Asher, we knew we had found our photographer. She was recommended by a friend of mine (whose photos were amazing) and we loved the other photos we'd seen. She was passionate, organized, and well-priced. During the engagement photo session, she made us both feel comfortable and at ease, which was quite a feat considering my husband and I don't love having our photos taken. Even though our wedding wasn't for almost a year, Asher was always very responsive and answered all of our questions. Closer to the wedding date, she had us fill out some forms to make sure nothing was missed and we had a walkthrough meeting. She gave us a detailed timeline that I ended up using with all of our other vendors. She also reached out to our videographer to make sure they were aligned. On the wedding day, she and Colleen arrived early and everybody loved her. It's a stressful, busy, exciting day and she once again made my husband and I feel perfectly comfortable. We just got our photos back, and they are PERFECT. She got all the most important moments and amazing pictures of us and our friends, both candid and posed. I can't wait to use her again!

Working with Asher was such a wonderful experience! We shot our engagement photos with her and I am so so grateful for the beautiful pictures she captured. We were worried about feeling awkward, stiff, or too "posed" in front of the camera, but she was able to quickly make us feel comfortable and natural and truly captured the essence of us as a couple! Cannot recommend Asher enough. I was a COVID bride who never got to meet Asher before my wedding and it was as if she was an old friend-- all of my guests commented on how fabulous she was (we only had 35 people so they got to know her pretty well). Her energy is just everything you want on your wedding day and made me and my husband feel so relaxed and comfortable. Asher's way of directing is just so natural and doesn't feel nit-picky and tedious which I have experience being apart of other bridal parties. I loved our photos and couldn't be happier about our decision.

Asher is the absolute BEST! From the first Zoom interview to our wedding reception and delivery of our beautiful photos, she has consistently impressed us with her technical expertise, artistry, and professionalism. Photography is one of the few areas where my husband was very discerning and he LOVED how the photos turned out. Where do I begin on this review.. if I could rate Asher 10 stars I would! Josh and I hired Asher as our wedding photographer, but she also did our engagement shoot. Between the engagement shoot and wedding photos, (roughly 1,500 pictures) one is better than the next. Asher is extremely talented behind the camera. She is able to capture the beauty in the little moments and edit the photo just enough to perfect it. Her photos are natural, and timeless. Josh, myself my bridesmaids and my family cannot say enough good things about Asher. Besides being a wizard with the camera, Asher is she is warm, caring and personable. My bridesmaids couldn’t say enough good things about Asher and the vibrant personality she brings to the room. She really feels like more than a friend, while still remaining professional. Throughout the entire wedding planning process, (which ended up being 2+ years due to COVID), Asher stood by us, checked in on how we were doing and was compassionate to our situation. Aside from that, she was able to keep the already stressful process light and fun. Asher was also friends with my month of coordinator, so working with them both was like talking to friends. It didn’t feel like work. Asher truly went above and beyond for Josh and I. From the engagement shoot, to post poning, to knowing the entire shot list I wanted on our wedding day, to crafting our wedding album, Asher nailed it. It is hard to summarize on paper on how much I value Asher’s work, opinion, and admire her talent. She is one in a million and I couldn’t have asked for a better person to capture this wild, yet beautiful time in our lives. If there is one thing to get out of this review… If you are looking for a personable, friendly, photographer who will capture the love in natural, timeless photos, Asher is your photographer and you need to hire her before someone else does!

This review is long overdue! Asher was an absolute dream wedding photographer and we are so grateful she was a part of our big day. Asher is incredibly organized and was communicative all throughout the planning process to ensure nothing was left to the last minute. We were married on the day of a predicted monsoon in early June and Asher kept me calm the whole week leading up to the event, sending me beautiful photos from other shoots in the rain and recommending umbrellas to order for the bridal party should it come down to it. While it stormed all through the first look photos, Asher knew it was important to me to capture the outdoor aesthetic and went above and beyond to ensure we got the photos once the rain let up. She is such a calming presence and all of our vendors really enjoyed working with her. The photos are beyond what we expected and are STUNNING. Asher captured every moment throughout the night and is a true artist when it comes to editing. Most importantly, Asher's commitment to her couples, and ensuring they absolutely love the final product is unparalleled. Thank you, Asher and team for everything!

I worked with Asher on my wedding day and I absolutely loved it. Asher was the perfect balance of having a professional eye with incredible taste, while also taking into account my feedback. She was incredibly flexible and helped shape my and my husband's vision into reality. I just got back our full wedding gallery and I could not be more happy with them. She captured both portraits and candids beautifully in a very classic and timeless way. I know that I will always be able to look back on the photographs that she took and be transported directly back to that day and feeling. I would say most importantly, I really trusted Asher. Asher captured our engagement photos in Central Park and when I say they are STUNNING, I feel like I'm still being modest. My fiancé and I had no idea what to expect, but Asher made us feel so comfortable and the results were just incredible. She really knows what she's doing behind the lens. I wanted a photographer who could capture our candid love, not so much the stiff and staged photos, and she did so effortlessly. She is not a cookie cutter photographer! Our dog Vino was a part of our shoot and is a little apprehensive with strangers, but he loved Asher and was WORKING the camera! It all shows in the photos - we could not be happier with our results. It's been over two years since my wedding, but asking Asher to document our day is still one of the best decisions I've ever made. Wedding planning is so stressful, but from the very first phone call, I felt so taken care of. Asher is a wonderful listener who genuinely loves her job, would be cool to hang out with, and truly cares about her clients. Hearing about her wedding experiences convinced me that she was flexible, creative, and really good at thinking on her feet - everything you want in a wedding photographer! Every step of the way, I was so impressed with how she provided all the info I wanted and answered so many questions without me even having to ask (so rare!), and she was one of the few photographers I saw whose galleries were more diverse, helping me to get a sense of whether her style would work with our faces. Spoiler alert: it did! Once we decided to go ahead with her, Asher was not only responsive, but her proactive guidance made wedding planning so much easier with all the resources and questionnaires she sent. I would have been lost without her! She virtually held my hand while I worried about the engagement shoot (she made us look perfect), had a (fortunately unneeded) backup plan for the rain forecast on the wedding day, and threw a Brides and Besties brunch, which was a great example of how dedicated she is to giving her clients a first-class experience that feels totally genuine and natural. I felt so special getting to go to that brunch, and it was such a nice, indulgent treat during the wedding planning process. On the actual wedding day, Asher's presence was so natural, positive, and reassuring. When we left for the first look, the car drove past us, and she got annoyed at the driver on my behalf. It made me feel like she was completely in my corner, and I could relax, because she would take care of things. And she did! From directing the videographers, to finding our best angles, to deft handling of reluctant/distracted children and a crying baby, Asher had complete control over everything without ever once being intrusive or in anyone's face. And while my husband had been on the fence about paying more than he expected for the photography, after the wedding, he was totally convinced and actually said that she was undercharging! To this day, I still get comments on how amazing our photos are. And all the photography experiences I've had since then have reminded me how lucky we were to have someone who is so good at capturing special moments while letting us stay present, instead of pausing every second to pose or do something that feels unnatural to us. The photos she took of our family and guests were just as wonderful of a gift - the photo she took of a mentor who has since passed away captured his spirit so perfectly that it has been a joy to look at and remember him, rather than a sorrow. And the best part is, Asher is someone we can trust to document each stage of our lives - we just had a maternity shoot with her! As per her usual amazing dedication to her clients, she went out of her way to get some preview photos developed for my baby shower the same weekend. It can be so hard to feel beautiful as a 36 week pregnant woman, but she made me look and feel like a movie star. And now that our baby has been born, I can't wait to book our first family shoot with the best photographer in the business. In sum: you will never, ever find a better photographer, so book her now before your date is gone!

She has an ease and calmness about her that made having her by my side all day very relaxing. During our photos, she gave subtle and easy to follow cues, that really felt genuine. We never felt like we were posing for photos or on display. For family photos, she was so easy to work with that my whole family could feel at ease as well. She was a natural fit for me and my family on my wedding day. I wouldn't have picked anyone different. In terms of professionalism, Asher is as good as it gets. Her communication style is prompt and transparent. She uses a client portal which you can access at any time for updates on payment schedule, questionnaires regarding preferences, and day of timelines. She checks in frequently during the wedding planning/preparation and leaves no stone unturned for day of photo planning. She is absolutely wonderful! I will be using her in the future for many more special events!

Hiring Asher was the best decision we made when wedding planning (and wedding planning comes with A LOT of decisions!) From the very first phone call with her we knew we wanted to hire her. Her calm demeanor and attention to detail are unparalleled and exactly what you want when hiring a vendor for your wedding day, especially one as important as a wedding photographer. We had to postpone our original date and she took it in stride and was nothing but accommodating when we were dealing with the stress of rescheduling due to Covid. When our wedding day finally arrived the weather was TERRIBLE, chilly temperatures and pouring with rain. Asher not only took it in stride but somehow turned the terrible weather conditions into the most beautiful wedding photos ever. She sent us a sneak peak of a handful of photos after the wedding and my husband and I agreed that even if all of the other photos came out terrible (which we know is not the case!) we would still be happy because we loved the photos she had already sent that much. When we got the full album we were even more stunned, the pictures that she captured are better than we could have ever imagined, especially given the terrible weather conditions . She took so many detail photos that enable us to look back an relive the day over and over. If you are thinking of hiring Asher, don't second guess it - hire her immediately.

Highly recommend!! We booked Asher for an anniversary shoot in Central Park and she crushed it! She was quick to respond from initial inquiry, all the way through the delivery of the photos. My husband and I started our wedding planning journey by prioritizing a photographer that could capture our wedding vision. From our first meeting, Asher was incredibly informative, kind, professional and easy to talk to. She was generously accommodating and became an incredible asset and confidant throughout the planning process especially with every curve ball that came with wedding planning around COVID. We didnt think we could love her photos more after seeing how our engagement photos turned out, but then we received our wedding photos. We were instantly taken back to the joy of our day, smiling and laughing though the whole album in complete awe. I've recommend her and her team to every single one of my friends that are engaged and wedding vendor shopping. She is a true artist that captured our day more beautifully than I thought possible.

My fiancé and I booked Asher for our wedding and so far she shot our engagement shoot. She was extremely professional and was so much fun to work with! Asher was the best decision I made in planning my wedding. I booked Asher 13 months before my wedding. But despite it being such a long engagement, she always stayed connected. She would e-mail helpful suggestions that pertained to wedding planning and check in to make sure I wasn't too stressed. My husband is VERY camera shy. Asher made us both feel comfortable and respected all of our requests. She is both extremely professional yet so sincere that you instantly feel at ease when you are around her. Whether it was on the phone leading up to the wedding, or that day in the midst of mayhem, all of my interactions with her made me sigh with relief. At the wedding reception, she had already uploaded pictures to an ipad and them on display. Nearly every guest noticed and loved the "live" pictures and complimented her to me. In addition, all of my other vendors, like my wedding planner, were always telling me how easy she was to work with and how organized she is. Her style is elegant and classic. I know all of our pictures are timeless and will be cherished forever. I cannot recommend Asher enough ! Thank you so much everything!!

We could not be happier that we chose Asher to be our wedding photographer!! We knew from her portfolio that she obviously takes beautiful pictures. What truly sets her apart is her amazing personality and ability to put everyone at ease while still capturing the most amazing shots. She was incredibly organized and responsive leading up to our wedding and made sure to keep track of every detail so that we had nothing to worry about on the day. The day of our wedding, Asher and her second shooter (also amazing!!) were so nice and calm and made our day so fun and took away all of the stress!! Asher Gardner is amazing!!!! We live in NYC and hired Asher to do our engagement photographs and she absolutely KILLED it. She was very communicative throughout the whole process from the initial meeting to get to know each other to when we got our gallery. She was also very flexible and reasonable when it came to picking the locations of the shoot and helping us watch out for any issues such as bad weather. For the shoot itself, Asher is a true artist. She was extremely clear and crisp in directing my fiance and I for our poses. We felt so comfortable around her, which made our pictures come out very natural. She had quite a few candid poses in our gallery that we didn't even remember taking!!! I've gotten NONSTOP compliments on our pictures.
