I want to start by thanking Eurykah Fon Ndumu for creating an opportunity for brides and vendors to connect and gain information from one another. This was my first bridal academy and going into it I didn’t know what to expect, but as a makeup artist I left there full of knowledge about providing my services for brides on their big day. I also got to network with other vendors about working together. The room was decorated and set up so beautifully it felt like I was at a wedding and I’m so excited to see what will be at the next bridal academy.

Walking into the room I was blown away by the decor. Absolutely stunning. The ambiance was perfectly set. Vendors there provided so much information and the Q&A session was very informative. I am thankful for Eurykah and The AEPDS Bridal Academy for doing an outstanding job. It’s safe to say that everyone in that room left feeling well informed and connected to all the industry Pro’s that were in the building. Asheris Event hosted a bridal academy recently (March 9th 2019 to be exact) that was very informative, interactive and well put together. A safe haven for introverts like myself(believe it or not) to find solace in expressing my thoughts, getting questions answered and be encouraged to reach your full potential. Oh! If you are looking to have a girls day out and some good food, you don’t want to miss any of their events. :)

First I will love to thank Eurykah for creating such an intimate and informative event for both brides and vendors to come together and understand more about the Wedding planning process. Eurykah has gained so much knowledge about the wedding planning process from her many years of experience.The information I received ranged from booking a venue,budgeting for the wedding,how to hire the right photographer,videographer,DJ,MC and an overview of what to expect when planning a wedding. The venue for our event was well decored and the conversation was very light but interactive with opportunities given to us to contribute,ask questions and also interact with one another. Eurykah encouraged us as a group of women who where venturing into the wedding industry on what to expect and gave us tips on how we could better collaborate with each other based on the services we rendered. As a vendor and a bride to be all I can say is I am thankful to have been part of the session and I left with a lot of information that would help me in my wedding whenever that happens and also in my business. I will like to end by saying thanks to Eury for being such a blessing to other women.Every woman who was present in that room had a story to tell about how she met her and how she had given them help in some way or motivated them to start their business. I have always admired her dedication to her craft and her persuit Of excellence and this was all evident in the way the Bridal Academy was held. I honestly wish more brides will have the chance to attend one of this events before their big day. It will make such a difference.

I do not know where to begin with AEPDS! I had the pleasure of meeting Eury through a mutual friend. I had decided that I wouldn’t get a wedding planner because I wouldn’t be able to afford one. After meeting Eury, all that changed. What I love about her is her selflessness. She wasn’t worried about what I could pay her, she just wanted to make sure my day was perfect. She worked with my budget. She went to the meetings with me. It’s amazing that every time I approach her about a concern I had, she was already 10 steps ahead of me. The day of the wedding, I don’t don’t have enough words to describe her professionalism, her selflessness... She went above and beyond! She had an answer for everything. The only regret I have is that I wish I had met her sooner. That’s how incredible she was. She was EVERYWHERE! She was my eyes! She knew what I wanted. I told her what I had envisioned, she took it and created magic! She made sure everyone knew where to go and what they needed to do. I didn’t have to do anything with my bridal party, my vendors, my pastors or anyone! She handled EVERYTHING WITH GRACE AND POISE! She made sure I was okay. At the end of the night, she would not leave as long as I was still there. When she says she’s all in, she means it. My family talks about her til this day! They always asked about her. I gained a sister by working with her. She always has some encouraging words me. I honestly cannot see myself working with anyone else in the future. I have yet to meet someone who’s worked with her who didn’t have great things to say. She is family! I can guarantee you that you will never be disappointed with her. God allowed me to meet her for a reason and I am forever grateful for her! My wedding wouldn’t be half as beautiful if it were not for Eury and AEPDS! I love you very much my sister! I mean all of it!

Planning a wedding with a huge family and friend list can be daunting. Having an array of cultures is even worse. Eurykah of AEPDS came through for me like no other. She made sure my budget, priorities and needs were discussed and was there for me and my husband every step of the way.
