Asheville Beauty Bar

ing did not make that easy for Promise and the hair stylist, Tasha. The first two appointments were late by about 10 minutes and those ten minutes make a huge difference – be there, and be on time, the earlier the better. Everything about makeup and hair got delayed from there on at no fault of theirs, they were there early and set up, and THEN I had some ladies who didn’t know what they wanted which risked spending time changing things up; so bride, have your girls know what they want or have all your girls get the same thing. And THEN I had family friends try to add a service the DAY OF and whew, I was stressed but these girls showed their experience!! They handled every single curveball with ease and even helped calm my nerves and advocate for me when something unexpected came up at our wedding. Promise and her team go above and beyond what I think is the duty of a makeup artist so I can say I highly recommend them! Makeup and hair is not something you will want to underestimate, or do by chance, as it does take up the most time in the background; one wrong move, and the day goes left! I'm happy to say we all still made it on time, looking good, with little complimentary touch up bags with our lipstick color, applicator, and a straw for everyone and an additional powder puff for the bride, ALL because of Promise and Tasha from Asheville Beauty Bar!

my wedding day. All of my bridesmaids loved their makeup as well. Brandi also went out of her way to ensure my seven year old niece felt included :) Thank you so much!!

d of schedule. My makeup was flawless and there were no signs of me sobbing during the heartfelt speeches at the reception. I highly recommend using Asheville Beauty Bar for your professional hair and makeup needs.

r not they wanted hair and makeup done. We had already been all set for Asheville Beauty Bar to do our hair and she had been amazing working with me and my difficult bridesmaids and there constant mind changing, but when I contacted them last minute about our situation she was not only able to get everyone’s hair and makeup done it all looked amazing and we all had different hair lengths textures and non of us had the same skin color. My favorite thing about them was that they made sure my vision for my hair and makeup was unique and no one else in the bridal party had the same or similar hair/ makeup as me. They were absolutely amazing at handling difficult people and people wanted the same style as me. I couldn’t have been happier with how things turned out.

most comfortable in. I would 100% recommend this service to anyone who wants the perfect wedding day look.

OB. Our makeup artist, Alexis, was so friendly and did an amazing job making each person in our party feel comfortable and beautiful. There are so many HAMU companies here in Asheville, but Asheville Beauty Bar easily stands out as one of the best!

nd Tasha were prompt, friendly, and beyond talented. They brought the hair and makeup visions of my entire bridal party to life - plus some! They both managed time expertly and had us ready to go early, with hair and makeup that literally lasted all day and night. They absolutely slayed. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again and again!

al trial first, and didn’t miss a beat. I would recommend them to anyone!

eautiful too. I would definitely recommend!

eeds.....this is the 2nd wedding that the have did in my family and the have never disappointed! Thanks Ladies!

and it was executed on 6/25! I felt so beautiful and the compliments were so overwhelming & appreciated, til this day I still receive compliments on how our hair and makeup looked. I will definitely book Asheville Beauty Bar for all my future events!

sure I looked beautiful, but I was laughing the entire time with the personable ladies there. Promise is fabulous and patient to work with. Our wedding was yesterday and the way I looked was beyond anything I could have asked for. Thank you Asheville Beauty Bar team!

id. They were patient, fun and understanding. I couldn’t have imagined working with anyone else! Plus, their execution was way better than what I showed them :)

d I’d happily hire them again.

change from the trial, and Promise was very helpful making those changes happen. Promise and I communicated well throughout the year + we were working together. The week of the wedding I found out that unfortunately she would not be the one attending to do my makeup, but she assured me that she was sending one of her top makeup artists in her place. She sent me several photos of Martiza's work and Martiza did not disappoint! Every girl in my bridal party (including me) LOVED her work. Our makeup looked natural and beautiful. Several of my bridesmaids also had their hair done. Our hair looked great and I loved what the stylist did with mine. I wanted my hair significantly different then what I had at my trial and she was able to make that happen. Unfortunately, because of the humidity some of the girls had trouble holding their curls up through the ceremony, but overall we were happy. I was very happy with Asheville Beauty Bar overall.

went above and beyond to make my 13 year old niece feel comfortable because she was not used to wearing makeup. I wish I was having another wedding so I could use them again!

icture I showed her. I couldn't have been more satisfied with my makeup. Thank you Asheville Beauty Bar!

rtist with only a 2 week notice. I sent over hair styles and make up colors and without a trial, they were able to accomplish what I was looking for. Their rates were within our budget as well. I loved my hair as I never wear it down, this style made me feel extra special. They did not do air brush, but may offer that, I was just so excited someone with so much experience was available for our big day. They made the process very easy.

th my hair and makeup lasted the entire night.

felt like a princess! My hair and makeup was gorgeous! Would definitely recommend hiring these ladies!!!

y. I was nervous to hire a makeup artist because I wasn't looking for a dramatic bridal look and instead wanted something simple that still made me look and feel like myself. We did not do a trial because I do not live in Asheville, but I felt fully confident in Promise. She made me feel comfortable and absolutely beautiful! She and the woman who did my hair were prompt, professional, and extremely friendly. She is a true artist. I strongly recommend hiring Asheville Beauty Bar for all of your makeup and hair needs for your special day!

ent look at the trial run and Promise was happy to do a slight pivot from the original make up plan at my request. My makeup was absolutely gorgeous, glamorous yet natural, and I felt so pampered. Thank you Promise!

in having not done a trial run. But Shemana and Brandy made me look exactly how I wanted. They were flexible to tweak things as we went. My hair and makeup looked even better than I had imagined. Everyone raved about how beautiful the bride and bridesmaids looked. Thank you so much Shemana and Brandy! I'm so happy I chose Asheville Beauty Bar for my wedding.
