Jamie and the Ashland Addison Floral team did an absolutely beautiful job with the candles, floral arrangements, bouquets and boutonnieres for our wedding. What can I say? Veronica and her team made our wedding dreams come true!!
Before finding Veronica, I met with five other florists who all told me what I needed versus listening to...
what I wanted. They all also laughed at my budget.
Veronica was the opposite! From our very first call, I knew Veronica would be doing the floral for our wedding. She listened, she embraced my vision as a fan of few flowers, she had things ready to show me when I asked for her input and she pushed me in a positive way to stay within my budget versus persuading me to add more and more along the way and exceeding my budget. In addition, she was always lovely, fun and spirited and was always super communicative!
The night of the wedding, we were more blown away than I thought possible. She brought our dreams to life and did so well beyond our expectations. She was there to make sure everything was flawless, and it brought me comfort to see her smiling face as pictures began.

When we went for the initial meeting, she had several arrangements prepared with different options and sizes. She had a few different greenery options to choose from as well. My mother is flower-obsessed and she was thrilled with all the arrangements. It was helpful that her crew had set up plenty of other weddings and events at the University Club (our reception venue). Her team was professional, quick, and clean. I can't recommend them enough. I've since used them for other events (showers, parties, etc.) They're familiar with most wedding venues in Chicago which is always helpful so they know where to go.

When I first met with Daniel from Ashland Addison Florist, he conveyed his vision to me on creating a very colorful ensemble of flowers and décor for my wedding. Rather than have ...
black and white and or muted tones, I requested vibrant colors of reds, oranges, and yellows to make the day feel happy. Using my favorite flower—gerbera daisies—as the base, Daniel created floral designs for three rooms within the event space including a floral structure or chuppah to stand under for the ceremony, different focal points around the DJ, bars, and mirrors, as well as a long runner of flowers that spanned the entire length of our food stations. In addition, Daniel added a turquoise blue runner for the isle, found blue lounge furniture and gold-colored bookshelves to accent the space with candles, and strategically placed lights in various positions to add more warm color tones. However, what I will remember most is the beautiful bouquet of flowers he designed for me—a combination of orange, peach, red, pink, and yellow flowers that made me feel beautiful and magical on my wedding day.
During our walk through of the venue seven days before the wedding, my husband and I decided we wanted to add a bit more to the space. I immediately called Daniel, threw him this last-minute curveball, and asked if this was possible. Rather than shy away from challenge, Daniel tackled it head on and exceeded our expectations in every way.
Family and friends who attended the wedding came up to us and said, “I love flowers and yours were some of the most beautiful I have ever seen.” In addition, the lead representative from the venue and caterer said, “I have never seen this space look so beautiful!” I could not agree more and that is a sole testament to the work of Daniel and crew from Ashland Addison Florist.

Michelle was very easy to work with, and the team did a great job on the setup. Our bouquets arrived about a half hour early at our hotel, so we didn't have to worry about them for photos. Everyone at Ashland Addison helped make our wedding day as perfect as it could be.

She was patient and able to work with me on options that could make it more affordable. Moreover, when my planner realized the day of that, the candlestick holders I ordered and mistakenly thought had been delivered were missing, Michelle took care of the problem charge-free (Thank you!).
The culmination of what she composed was utterly phenomenal and gorgeous (so much so, that I have convinced myself that they started the #JoyfulExpression trend 😂)! The floral pieces at my wedding are still one of my favorite aspects of it. Overall, working with Michelle was a wonderful experience, and I couldn’t recommend her enough.

tic winter getaway, and glowed from the hundreds of candles throughout the venue. Lori has a beautiful suggestion to line the grand stairway with rope lights intertwined with Italian ruscus, and multiple sized candles down the stairs. She stayed within my budget, but also helped provided me with great ideas. My bouquet beautiful, full of white blooms of the season. I’m very happy with my choice to work with Ashland Addison - easy to work with, professional and helpful. Highly recommended!

life! She was so responsive, flexible and helpful when we were so unsure of our plans due to COVID. We were blown away when we visited the studio for our mock up visit. Lori showed us all the different options for other centerpiece arrangements, candles, votives, vases etc. It was so helpful to visualize our special day with the endless options they provided. When it came to our actual wedding day, all the florals were exactly how we discussed and envisioned! We got so many compliments and would 100% recommend Lori and Ashland Addison to any future brides!!

so she is, more specifically, the dream! I went in with a very specific vision for my wedding: I wanted minimal flowers and mostly lush greens to soften the exposed brick in our venue space. I wasn't quite sure how I'd feel working with Ashland and Addison. They've been in the city forever so I thought they might take an "old school" approach, which was not what I wanted, but I couldn't have been more wrong! Michelle was filling the gaps in my vision and sentences before I even realized it! She was communicative, conscientious, flexible, and offered really great insight to two people who had never planned a wedding before! She got my vision and executed it perfectly. The greens blew me away the day of the wedding. They looked better than I could have even hoped.

I was one of the covid brides having to reschedule everything and waited too long to book a florist so I was panicking! I came across Ashland Addison and they ended up being beyond...
perfect. Lori and her team was able to fully understand what I wanted and executed beyond what I was thinking. My bridal bouquet was twice as big as I thought it would be. My guests were marveling over the center pieces and many were taken with guests as they left. Even the reception venue asked who I was using because they were so spectacular. Because we were so last minute, they were unable to deliver and set up but packaged everything so beautifully and easily that it made setup a breeze and transported flawlessly. Do yourself a favor and book with them and consider your flowers done and stunning.

chaos my vendors demonstrated true colors, some good, some bad, and working with Ashland Addison was fun, reassuring and stress free. Even during the stress of it all, I was always treated with respect and was reassured that no matter what changes were needed to adjust to the times, they would be able to accommodate. Michelle is a true genius. She stayed true to my budget and everything looked absolutely incredible. Many guests, other vendors and family members commented on how the flowers were some of the best they’d ever seen. Everything from start to the end was incredible. They packed up at the end of the evening, and even (for a small fee that was totally worth it,) delivered my flowers to me the next day so that I had them for my brunch. Could not recommend them more. Such a great experience!!

Michelle was a true pleasure to work with. I told her what florals I liked/didn't like, what kind of vibe were were going for with the wedding decorations and details, and she completely delivered on everything I could have wanted and more. We had so many compliments on how beautiful all of our flowers were. Couldn't recommend their services enough!

she absolutely nailed it. We got so many compliments on the bouquets - the flowers were so fresh and fragrant. I’m still so in love with my bridal bouquet. They organized everything in the event hall so beautifully. I absolutely recommend using this vendor, they did a wonderful job.

ure how to pull it off. I provided Veronica with some 'inspiration' pictures from Pinterest and boy did she deliver! Veronica has truly fantastic vision and creativity in her work. The guests at our 9/11/2021 wedding commented on the variety and elegance of our flowers at our wedding reception. Veronica decorated the room at the Chicago History Museum to really bring out the touches of elegance that the museum has. If you want something added or changed to your order, just send an email and she will make sure it happens!

he extremely friendly, professional, knowledgeable and responsive, but she immediately understood my vision even though I couldn't necessarily find the words to describe it. Michelle regularly communicated with me throughout the planning process and was extremely patient and adapted even when we had changes (the date, colors, etc...). She was truly the kind of wedding vendor you dream of having, as an anxious bride like myself can relax knowing and trusting that they are in great hands. The flowers, centerpieces and decorations exceeded my expectations--they were beyond perfect and exactly what I had pictured in my mind. Not only that, but the prices are so reasonable for the quality of florals and services. Michelle was somehow able to provide exactly what I dreamed of within my budget. I would not hesitate to recommend Ashland Addison to anyone planning a wedding or just looking for a wonderful florist!

One thing I discovered the most when it came to planning a wedding was having vendors with good customer service and communication. Michelle was quick to respond on emails and phone calls. because communication with our florist was a bit spotty and inconsistent, and it got a little frustrating at times. Also the way payment is currently handled was a little uncomfortable to me - I paid over the phone and the person taking my payment didn’t seem to be able to obtain our agreement with the amounts that were due for the deposit, so I had to state myself how much to charge onto my card. I also never received a confirmation email that my payments were received, and I really like having clear, official record of things on hand and to show that the payment was attached to the balance on my contract. I did reach out and get a confirmation after asking about it later. Other than that, I thought they did a fabulous job of bringing our vision to life and they put together some beautiful floral arrangements for our wedding.

amework for the chuppah itself were perfect. My wee little bouquet was perfect. I didn't want an over the top display and they provided an beautiful little grouping in just the right colors.
Even better is the customer service. I only had a week to set this all up and not only did they have no problem, they were smooth in installation and clean up and so so kind. Michelle has beautiful taste and her co-worker Roberto were great.
Can't recommend them more highly!

beautiful flowers they offered (at very reasonable prices!) We had worked out our plans well in advance and then COVID hit. Michelle and Justin were so accommodating and helpful throughout every road block we encountered. First it was a change of date, then change in size, then finally a change of venue we were told about just 3 weeks before the big day! And through all of that, Michelle was there to help us adjust as needed and bring everything together. Her calmness and professionalism helped us stay calm. Every single adjustment was met with complete understanding and awesome suggestions/recommendations to help bring everything together. And boy did it! With Michelle's assistance we were able to have the day of our dreams! Everything came together so beautifully and we couldn't be happier. Thank you Michelle and Justin for playing such an important part in our big day; it is so appreciated!
