Ashland Addison Florist is a Chicago, Illinois-based floral design company that serves weddings and other special celebrations. Our event stylists pride themselves on offering every client and engaged couple a personalized design experience. They are a group of naturally creative individuals who believe in fostering a genuine connection with their clients in order to bring their décor vision to life. Our Stylists also have intimate knowledge of Chicago event venues, but welcome the opportunity to design in new spaces! They cannot wait to adorn your wedding venue with floral displays that represent your style and personality. Full Service Wedding Florist We categorize full-service weddings as events where we conceptualize, produce, and style the personal flowers (bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, etc.), ceremony décor, and reception décor. Full-service events are custom-tailored to a couple’s unique needs and personalities, their chosen venue, and take into account any other special considerations. We offer full-service wedding design for our clients who require a dedicated Stylist to help them execute their vision and manage all floral-related logistics on their wedding day. The Design Process Design Consultation During our initial consultation, your Stylist will review all of your design ideas and event details, suggest color palette options, and discuss seasonal flower varieties. Proposal Development Your Stylist will create a personalized proposal based on your collected inspiration images and preliminary design consultation. Save The Date Time to make it official! We’ll save your date with a 30% retainer and signed agreement. 6 Week Check In 4-6 weeks prior to your wedding, we will meet for a final design consultation with a fresh centerpiece sample and ensure all your details are flawlessly accounted for. Finishing Touches We have a large collection of rentals to coordinate and enhance your wedding style! Our team of event professionals will take care of the setup and on-site styling. All rentals we provide will be picked up at the end of your event. Event Coordination Your Stylist will coordinate with you, your venue, and other necessary point persons to ensure the timeline for delivery, set up, and rental pick up is taken care of so you can enjoy the party!

Using my favorite flower—gerbera daisies—as the base, Daniel created floral designs for three rooms within the event space including a floral structure or chuppah to stand under for the ceremony, different focal points around the DJ, bars, and mirrors, as well as a long runner of flowers that spanned the entire length of our food stations. In addition, Daniel added a turquoise blue runner for the isle, found blue lounge furniture and gold-colored bookshelves to accent the space with candles, and strategically placed lights in various positions to add more warm color tones. However, what I will remember most is the beautiful bouquet of flowers he designed for me—a combination of orange, peach, red, pink, and yellow flowers that made me feel beautiful and magical on my wedding day.
During our walk through of the venue seven days before the wedding, my husband and I decided we wanted to add a bit more to the space. I immediately called Daniel, threw him this last-minute curveball, and asked if this was possible. Rather than shy away from challenge, Daniel tackled it head on and exceeded our expectations in every way.
Family and friends who attended the wedding came up to us and said, “I love flowers and yours were some of the most beautiful I have ever seen.” In addition, the lead representative from the venue and caterer said, “I have never seen this space look so beautiful!” I could not agree more and that is a sole testament to the work of Daniel and crew from Ashland Addison Florist.

Also the way payment is currently handled was a little uncomfortable to me - I paid over the phone and the person taking my payment didn’t seem to be able to obtain our agreement with the amounts that were due for the deposit, so I had to state myself how much to charge onto my card. I also never received a confirmation email that my payments were received, and I really like having clear, official record of things on hand and to show that the payment was attached to the balance on my contract. I did reach out and get a confirmation after asking about it later. Other than that, I thought they did a fabulous job of bringing our vision to life and they put together some beautiful floral arrangements for our wedding.

ough because I made the delivery time about an hour before I was planning on leaving for the ceremony trying to give room for a little lateness, which was at 12pm. Come 12:30, I had not heard from them. It turns out neither did the guys for their boutonnieres. I had to call them for a status and they told me that he was on his way with both deliveries to me instead of the two that were arranged and double checked on the week prior. When the flowers finally got to me it was almost 1pm and they were missing the flowers we ordered for the virgin mary (Catholic Wedding) and the color for the groom's boutonniere was wrong. Though I didn't let it ruin my day, I was very disappointed with their professionalism on delivery day. I would have at least appreciated a call from them if they were running late and if there was confusion with the addresses (They went to the wrong address for the first delivery which is why I got all of the flowers).

Ash Add had previously done my sister’s wedding 4 years ago and did a remarkable job then and they continued to WOW us throughout the whole process for our wedding. We worked with Ramsey who is incredible!!! The other florist companies we met with tried to make us fit into what they could do, while our meeting with Ramsey/Ash Add was all about making our vision come true.
Working with Ramsey & his team was one of the easiest transactions from our wedding. We had our mock-up and made a few changes from there. On our wedding day we were completely astonished by what Ashland Addison brought to the table. Our bouquets/boutonnieres were beautiful and Ramsey personally delivered them to my suite beforehand! I was so happy I got to thank him in person!!
The venue where we got married is very old school Chicago/ masculine – when we planned our wedding we knew flowers were going to be extremely important to warm the place up. At the last minute we asked Ramsey to toss some light greenery and votive candles onto the fireplace which was located behind the master table. Ramsey & his team went ABOVE & BEYOND and made the fireplace the focal point of the entire space by adding lush greens, drooping moss and beautiful florals into the arrangement. It was so incredibly gorgeous that couples/guests used it as a backdrop for all of their pictures. The rest of the room was dripped in gorgeous floral centerpieces with cascading moss, full blooms and lush greenery.

ago-area florists (I felt a lot of pressure to select the best florist possible because my mother loves flowers and I knew she wanted them to be perfect) but we landed with Ashland and Addison for a few key reasons: 1) the quality of their wedding consultants/designers stood out, 2) they are a Chicago institution, 3) were able to deliver an amazing look without going over budget and 4) they were extremely patient with me as I was planning my wedding from a different state.
Meghan was my primary consultant during the wedding planning process and she is AWESOME. Very friendly, easy to talk to, and has a great eye for design. I really enjoyed the times I came to the store for a consultation/walkthrough; Meghan pulled out all of the things I thought I wanted (e.g. large arrangement examples, vases, votive candles, etc.) and sat with me as my family and I re-arranged them and asked questions. She demonstrated an amazing amount of patience with us and provided us recommendations on what she thought looked good WITHOUT being pushy or condescending. I felt very much empowered to make the decisions in this process, while of course relying on her expertise. We ended up going with alternating tall and short arrangements, which filled the space of our venue very well.
The day of the wedding couldn't have gone better. The bridesmaids bouquets, groomsmen's boutineers, and my bouquet were so elegant and classic: they were exactly as I had imagined them. The delivery was on-time to the hotel and Ashland and Addison's staff were very detailed when they set up the flowers/chuppa in the ceremony room. I'm still receiving compliments three months after the wedding! They turned a great venue into a better one with their amazing eye for design and layout.
In all, if you are getting married, planning a bar/bat mitzvah, or just ordering flowers because, I highly recommend Ashland and Addison's services. You will definitely be doing yourself a favor if you work with them!

The biggest problem we had happened on the day of the wedding - our venue coordinator, always cool as a cucumber, told me when we arrived that the florist had not yet arrived and asked if I had heard from them. I know she wouldn't have asked me if she had a choice. Luckily, 3 people from Ashland Addison arrived just in the nick of time.
