We had the prime rib and pecan crusted chicken with mashed potatoes and vegetable medley. It was absolutely perfect and there are many perks with choosing AU. The campus is beautif...
ul, they set up and tear down chairs and tables and linens. The linens were beautiful and we would recommend the Redwood Hall for a reception venue!
We used Ashland as our wedding caterer and they were pretty good. A few things were lost in the transition to a new coordinator, but Erika easily picked up where Carrie left off. W...
e were a bit disappointed the night of that we did not get to take the leftover food from our buffet (due to their food license, we weren't aware before hand) and that there were no boxes for the leftover cupcakes or cutting cake. Other than that the guests had nothing but positive things to say and the food and cake was delicious!
We went with a 3 option buffet.. Almond crusted chicken, seafood alfrado and prime rib (carving station). The food was ahhhhhmazing!! We got a ton of compliments on the taste of t...
he food! Also, it was kept nice and hot, the whole time and there was plenty of food for all of our guests to have as many servings as they needed to fill up! We had a full open bar. There were a lot of liquor options and the bar tender was able to make all the mixed drinks asked of her. They ran out of bourbon, but went out to get more for us. My only complaint was that the one keg we chose they were unable to tap, and instead of calling us to pick another keg, they chose for us.
They're the only large scale hall around, and they know it. Their prices are pretty high, and they have fees for everything, but I was very satisfied with the service, the food, th...
e ability to get a hold of them. Overall, very pleased.
Very willing to work with us and make our day special. Didn't have a room rental fee which is unheard of. They set things up exactly as we had asked and moved things out of the r...
oom that we didn't like. They are known for our food-all our guests were raving about it. The food was not only delicious, but good portions for very reasonable prices. The campus itself is very pretty and offers good locations for pictures.
The staff that put the finishing touches on our table decorations were great. Our tables were cleaned up very promptly almost too much so (my husband only got two bites of his cak...
e before he set it down to talk to someone and it was cleaned off the table!). Location as easy to get to with plenty of parking. Great landscaping around the area.;Make sure they have your name spelled correctly. Despite several communication emails between us and the manager prior to the wedding our last name was spelled wrong on the digital welcome screen for the reception and on our invoice.
