Ashleigh was superb!! She is so organized! Our initial consultation helped to get me into wedding planning mode. She made sure we had more then enough time with my large 12 girl party to make us all look perfect with time to spare. She was early to set up to make sure we kept a schedule. All of my girls looked amazing and couldn’t have had better things to say about the experience. I could tell she spent extra time on myself to make sure everything was how I envisioned it as the bride. My hair did not budge at all, even with taking the veil in and out a few times. It lasted through all the pictures, tons of dancing, and a late night bonfire. I would recommend Ashleigh to anyone for their big day!

Ashleigh (and Alyse) was amazing to work with! Ashleigh did an incredible job on my hair that looked amazing all day long, and my hair does not usually hold a curl for more than an hour or two. she also helped me with a style that transitioned easily into a mid-pony for the sweatier parts of the evening. everyone who got their hair done that day was thrilled with how it turned out from both ashleigh and alyse-- plus she was entirely transparent about her pricing and time needed thorughout the process from initial contact, trial, and day of. book her-- you will not regret it!

Ashleigh was nothing but wonderful to work with every step of the way. I have been going to her for my hair for the past few years and new I didn’t want anyone else but her for my wedding. Ashleigh was so helpful to me in figuring out what I wanted. After my first trial I realized that I was looking to do something different than what I originally thought and Ashleigh helped me figure out what would work best with my dress and offered to do a second trial so I would be more at ease! And it came out better than I even imagined on my wedding day!! The day of my wedding she was there supper early to make sure we had enough time for everyone since I had a bigger wedding party. I was initially hesitant because of an early start time for our bridal party, but it was SO worth it. We weren't rushed, everyone's hair looked gorgeous, and Ashleigh genuinely listened to what each person wanted and created a style that lasted all night.

Ashleigh was fantastic!! I had my bridal trial with her at the salon and told her what I thought I wanted. We ended up tweaking it several times but she was kind and patient throughout the entire process. She also answered any questions I may have via email/instagram. Day of the wedding comes around and I completely changed my mind on my hair style! Ashleigh didn't even blink, she helped me out and made my hair absolutely gorgeous! I am more of a quiet person but I felt very comfortable with her and I can't thank her enough.

Working with Ashleigh was such an amazing experience! She and her team created such beautiful and unique hairstyles for every woman getting their hair done. She even worked with me to change my hair from what I wanted after the trial – including giving me a bit of a haircut to get the look I wanted. The team kept the tone in the room happy and fun while also keeping us for schedule – which is hard task considering there were 10 of us! We had a trial right before COVID and based on that made a few tweaks and it was better than I could have ever imagined!!! All of my girls looked phenomenal and she kept us on time with our schedule. Ashleigh was amazing for my wedding from the first trial to my wedding day. She answered all my questions and concerns that I had about my wedding day and what I was looking to do. My mother was very nervous to have someone new do her hair so Ashleigh had her come in for a trial and made my mom feel so comfortable and she absolutely loved her hair! On my wedding day Ashleigh made getting ready and doing everyone’s hair so much fun. Everyone in my wedding party loved their hair and could not have been any more happy. My mother in law never had her hair done before and came in not knowing what to do and I couldn’t believe how amazing she looked. Ashleigh was Amazing! After changing my date 4 times due to Covid she was able to pick up my date and I am very grateful! She did an amazing updo at my trial however on the wedding day I changed my mind and she was able to complete the half up hair style flawlessly. I never had to worry if my hair looked good for the whole night, everyone was complementing it. She also did my color for my hair a week before the wedding and I love it! Would recommend her to anyone looking for an easy going, professional stylist for their big day!

Ashleigh was wonderful! I contacted her in August for my October 3rd micro wedding. She was available and was reasonably priced. She arrived to the location early and was set up in a matter of minutes. My hair looked STUNNING and I have never felt more beautiful! She did a fantastic job and brought my bridal hair vision to life. She was patient and professional with my questions and with my mom, mother-in-law and sister-in-law. 100% recommend!

After changing our wedding plans due to COVID, I hired Ashleigh to do the hair for my wedding party for our mini-ceremony this year. Ashleigh not only was so flexible and helpful when it came to the COVID-19 pandemic and bridal last minute changes, but made every girls hair a D R E A M! Every girl got to pick how they’d like theirs to be styled (with curly hair) to stand out and for mine, she knew just how to make my hair look so effortlessly wavy and position of tiara perfectly! 10000% recommend. I had to postpone my wedding due to covid, and decided to have a small ceremony this past weekend in the meantime. Ashleigh did my hair, and my sister’s super long, calf-length hair. She wore a mask the entire time, and we felt completely safe with her! She was friendly and insightful, and did an AMAZING job on both of us! People kept saying how much we looked like princesses. She really did a great job, and has been super flexible during these crazy unknown times!

I'm not normally someone who wears make up or touches a blow drier so for my brother's wedding I was SO HAPPY Ashleigh was in charge of my hair! I asked her to do whatever she thought would look best for me and she definitely did. I ended up with a gorgeous, and comfortable hairstyle that lasted well into the night with no issues at all. 10/10 would recommend Ashleigh!

I'll start off by saying that Ashleigh's work is AMAZING. The second I saw her work here on the knot and on her instagram, I knew I needed her for my wedding. Ashleigh is not only incredibly talented at what she does, but she was a total dream to work with. She was always responsive on emails, receptive to exactly what I wanted, arrived early on the day of the wedding, and kept everything on schedule throughout the day. She addressed all the concerns and needs from my bridesmaids, and helped my mom (who was very nervous about getting her hair done) get exactly what she wanted. I’m the mom of the bride. I had scheduled a blowout at my normal hair salon and my daughter said absolutely not. She hired a stylist and told me I was getting my hair done by her. I am 55+ years old. I’ve had the same hair style for 20 years. I hate my hair down, I hate no bangs, I hate curls and waves. So to say I was nervous regarding this stylist was an understatement. Ashleigh told me this is a normal feeling to have, she calmed my jitters and created a perfect style that complimented my face shape and eased my fears. I’ve never had so many compliments regarding my hair. I’m trying to convince my other daughter to fly Ashleigh to St. Lucia for her wedding just so she can touch my hair again. If you’re not sure what kind of updo you want, If you’re nervous about something new or out of your comfort zone, I’d recommend Ashleigh 110%. She did not fail to amaze me.

Ashleigh was on time and by on time I mean early. She was prepared and knew exactly what she wanted and where in terms of mirrors, supplies, tools, etc. Ashleigh was amazing when it came to vision for each bridesmaids hair. She asked what they wanted and vocalized to each of them which style would look good and which style would hold based on their hair type and the weather. She was able to complete a bride, 4 bridesmaids, mother of the bride and a flower girl in a quick and timely manner without a worry in the world that I’d be late. My hair was absolutely perfect. I’ve never had an updo before and was nervous I wouldn’t love it but knew with my gown it had to be up. Ashleigh gave her professional opinion, I showed her some looks at my trial and she NAILED it. I may never wear my hair down again for an event. And let’s talk about my hair color. I’ve struggled with a stylist for years and my hair was always “too” yellow for me. Ashleigh explained to me the importance of color in bridal photos and told me she could correct my color so that it would be perfect with my updo. She did not fail to deliver. It took 8+ hours of color correction but looking at my wedding photos I am ecstatic. I cannot imagine what I would have looked like without Ashleigh. She is a complete professional unlike any other. You won’t be disappointed.

Ashleigh Matthews was recommended by my friend after my hair dresser passed away, I am a customer who knows what she wants and can be a challenge. For the last four years she has worked with me and I have been very happy with her cuts, color and styling. She was the stylist for two of my daughters weddings and did a fabulous job. She has excellent time management skills and was able to pin-point the exact time she would need to style the brides, bridesmaids and mother of the bride.
