( when they say private they don'y mean one on one it's private just you in the store). My dress is beautiful I can't show you yet. My alterations were done in the store. originally gone in there to see a dress I saw at a Chicago store months before, but once Vinnie got a glimpse of my body type and height, she asked if she could bring out a dress that she thought would suit me really well. My dress needed a lot of work being taken it ( I bought a floor sample to save some money) and Olga pulled off a miracle!! She also designed and created the most beautiful tulle skirt with a long train. She made the skirt detachable too! I got soooooo many compliments and guests said they've never seen a more beautiful dress. Outstanding job! I'm so appreciative of this boutique and everyone's willingness and ability to do their magic. I would recommend this boutique to anyone who wants EXCELLENT customer service and a private bridal experience.

ing to have a wedding in October with only three months to plan I was against the clock to find a dress. I did not love my first dress ( from the other boutique nothing wrong w/ it just not the dream dress) but I bought it as a back up just in case I didn't find anything. Once I arrived Vinnie was super patient and let me try on a myriad of dresses and after a couple of visits I found the DRESS. Vinnie and Elvin are the best. Which was a huge relief! The champagne toast, photos, boomerang, and videos were an awesome perk! I will forever tell brides to go here! And what an awesome way to support black owned businesses than involving them in the special day!

h the original dresses I came in to try on weren't what I was looking for, we tried on others and I fell in love with one. They were able to quickly recognize a style I liked even though it was completely different than what I originally thought I wanted. They allowed me to come back later that day with my Mom and a couple of friends (this was pre covid) to show them and get their input. After us all loving it, they gave us champagne and kind of let us hang out and chat for a while. It was better than I ever expected this process to be. Every time I went in, they made me feel like family. I ended up being a covid bride and they always kept me up to date on the shipping of my dress and assuring me that my day whenever it was, would be perfect. They tailored my dress to perfection and took ALL covid precautions. I was always the only bride there even before covid, and I loved that.

Not only was I impressed with her. I adored her salon. Her salon is well-organized, inviting, and not over-whelmed with bridal gowns. Back story, I had to postpone my initial wedding plans due to the COVID-19 pandemic like most brides-to-be. My fiance and I decided to get married this year with immediate family, and have our wedding reception next year. I planned to purchase an inexpensive wedding gown for the ceremony, and "The Dress" for the reception next year. Vinnie suggested looking for "The Dress" for both events. I thought to myself -- is she serious?! To my surprise, she was. Laugh out loud. Vinnie and I picked out "The Dress" less than 45 minutes. I couldn't believe I found my dress. I was excited. She is good at her job. Lastly, Vinnie and her partner, Alvin, and I toast to finding "The dress"; and which they provided the champagne. Such a lovely touch. time you go into the shop; they are simply a ray of sunshine! The shop is by appointment only, which means you get the entire shop to yourself and have all the time you need to try on dresses, get photos, and enjoy your "yes to the dress" moment! The shop's seamstress, Olga, is equally as sweet. She was able to accommodate my alternations (including a complicated bustle) even with having my first fitting only 2 weeks before my wedding due to COVID-19. AMAZING! I simply cannot say enough great things about this shop! If you want elegance, kindness, and class... look no further!

I ended up buying the first dress I tried on (after trying on several other beautiful dresses), and was congratulated with a champagne toast. The store is very intimate, which I personally enjoyed. It is way less intimidating than I was expecting, and actually preferred that all the dresses were not out on display. I loved that my family and I were the only appointment in the store, it creates such a wonderful and personal appointment. They are EXPERTS at what they do. Every suggestion that was made was on-point, and they are more than willing to work with any budget/style/alteration that you can throw at them. I will be recommending them to everyone I know in the future that is looking for a dress. I also loved that Elvin was taking pictures the entire time to capture the moment. What a nice touch! You guys are gems!

in there during your appointment (which is GREAT!) I was treated like the most important bride ever and every appointment was all about me. You never feel rushed or pushed to the side. They are very accommodating to your schedule and time. It would be days I just wanted to go look at my dress and they would always welcome me in with open arms. We would all sit, laugh, talk and just have a great time. My family and I became super close to them and plan to keep it that way! They are family to us now. I started shopping for my dress one year before my wedding and ordered a custom made dress from them that we were told would be 6-9 months to be made by the designer. I actually got pregnant (with our first) four months before my wedding and we had to do sooooo many alterations to my dress. I actually had weekly appointments and some weeks multiple in that week due to my growing bump. Vinnie wanted to make sure it would fit and still looked as good and not rushed. She was so awesome about it all and very happy for me.. which I really appreciated in such a difficult time for me. she made me feel so secure in my dress even with a bump lol They even came and helped me set up my dress on a mannequin at my hotel the night before my wedding. And Vinnie helped me put it on. She visited me in my bridal suite on my wedding to make sure everything was going okay. Vinnie and Elvin attended my wedding and reception and even gave a great gift which they did not have to do, at all. They made me feel valued and special and the dress was perfectly altered and steamed before the big day. Olga was great as well with the alterations. I cannot speak highly enough of this place! I just love them sooooo much! I highly highly recommend to EVERY bride or anyone just looking for a really nice dress! :) I give them 1 million stars!

e to three other shops, I ultimately found an amazing dress perfect for my wedding venue in Maui. I need to add that I needed my dress within three months of making my decision. Without a hitch Vivian made it happen. The gown order was expedited through her connections along with a recommended seamstress who provided perfect alterations. Vivian was with me the entire process providing support, reassurance and exceptional customer service. Save yourself the time, effort and trouble of shopping at multiple venues, Ashley & Alexandria’s has it all!

I was able to fly in from Georgia two Saturdays In October to get my fittings done For our November wedding, and Vinnie was there with me every step of the way. Olga is truly gifted at what she does and the dress turned out stunning. Throughout this process, Vinnie and everyone else involved with Ashley and Alexandria went above and beyond, completely bending over backwards for me. The worked fittings in around my busy schedule, even when I'm sure it was inconvenient for them (but they didn't in any way show it).
