We were thrilled with our wedding cake from Ashley Bakery! Hayden was so pleasant to work with throughout the entire process and provided a cake that was exactly what we wanted in terms of a simple, natural look. We knew we wanted an atypical wedding cake flavor and fell in love with the banana chocolate chip cake at our tasting. The cake tasted incredible at our wedding and so many of our guests said it was the most delicious cake they have ever had at a wedding. We highly recommend Ashley Bakery!

Hayden was very nice and helpful. We were able to get three tiers with different flavors. The bakery took care of delivery and set up and the cake was good.

We ordered our cake and some mini-desserts from Ashley Bakery for our October 2021 wedding and they were absolutely amazing. We couldn't just decide on one flavor after our tasting so we decided on a 3-tier cake with 1) Italian Cream Cake with Chocolate Mousse filling, 2) Italian Cream Cake with Cream Cheese Buttercream filling and 3) Almond Cake with White Chocolate Mousse and Raspberry filling. We also ordered mini salted caramel chews, mini apple crumb pies, and mini chocolate cups filled with Kahlua mousse that were equally delicious. So happy we chose Ashley Bakery!

We had tried a few other bakers for trial runs but decided to go with Ashley Bakery based on reviews alone. We were not disappointed! We wanted a variety of cupcakes and a single larger cupcake as our bride & groom cake. The Strawberry Sour-cream Pound Cake was fantastic. I would like to be able to share feedback on the other 3 flavors we had (carrot, almond, and chocolate) but our guests devoured them and we were not able to try them ourselves. Based on the smiles though, I am guessing they were also a hit. Highly recommend!!!

Hayden at Ashley Bakery was so wonderful to work with when selected to our daughter’s wedding cake. She made the process simple and enjoyable from the tasting to delivery of the finished product. The cake was amazing with 4 tiers of perfection! It was beautifully simple with a white on white monogram adorned with a trail of fresh flowers . It was so delicious I talked the bride and groom into only freezing 1 slice of the top layer for their anniversary and enjoying the rest of it now! You will not be disappointed with Ashley Bakery.

I used Ashley Bakery for birthday cakes in the past and when it came time for our wedding we wanted something small and simple and knew Ashley bakery would be perfect. The cake was fresh and full of flavor. It look simple and beautiful. I highly recommend them and will definitely be getting more cakes from them in the future.

Ashley Bakery was phenomenal in creating the most perfect groom's cake for my husband. Designing the cake with Hayden was so easy and he completely captured as well as exceeded my vision. The golf themed cake was stunning and tasted even better than it looked! I can't thank Hayden and his team enough for creating a wonderful cake and delivering it seamlessly to the Rehearsal Dinner venue.

Ashley Bakery made our beautiful 4 tier wedding cake in August 2019. It was so elegant with a delicious buttercream frosting and a sweetgrass design. Each tier of the cake had a different flavor cake making it really enjoyable for many cake tasters at the wedding! I am so happy we chose them as our cake designer. It was the perfect cake!

Ashley Bakery was recommended to us by our wedding planner and they did not disappoint! The wedding cake was extremely important to me (probably more than it is to most people). I absolutely love to bake and watching the bride & groom cut the cake is my favorite part of the reception. We scheduled an in-person cake tasting which was included with the price of our cake. Hayden was so easy to work with and was able to create the exact design I had envisioned. Not to mention the cake was delicious! I would highly recommend Ashley Bakery! Everything was perfect!

We absolutely love Ashley bakery and enjoyed working with Hayden. Ashley Bakery provided our cake and desserts for our wedding on November 9th. When meeting with Hayden, she guided us through options for us and for all of our guests. Since we wanted something for everyone, we chose a small cake and a wide selection of other options - two different flavors of cupcakes, key lime pie (which I typically cannot stand, but loved), pecan pies, cheesecake, and Charleston chew bars. Hayden also did a beautiful job of integrating our palmetto roses on and around our cake, which was a nice touch on the dessert table. They also made the groomscake for the rehearsal dinner - it was both beautiful (surfboards and all) and tasted great. We ate the leftovers for a few days until they were gone :)

They were very professional from beginning to end! My cupcake tower looked beautiful and tasted even better! Soft and moist cakes, even after we came back from our 7 day cruise that we left for the day after our wedding! Just great!

We loved working with Hayden! From the cake tasting to the cake cutting, we had a great experience. We selected the almond and marble cake with almond buttercream and it was delicious! Our wedding cake was delicious! We had tastings at 3 local bakeries and Ashley Bakery was by far our favorite! She allowed us to try 6 flavors. We had a 3-tier cake with white chocolate and raspberry, red velvet with cream cheese, and lemon with buttercream. Everything was delivered on time and our cake was beautiful!

We had to have a gluten free cake and Ashley Bakery was very easy to work with and accommodating! They worked with me through email alone and not only delivered a cake that was exactly what I was looking for, but the gluten free tasted amazing!

Ashley Bakery is PHENOMENAL and did such an amazing job with our cake. We tried a lot of different cakes & bakeries in our area and I truly felt like Ashley Bakery just blew everyone out of the water with how moist, delicious, and flavorful their cakes are! Ashley Bakery made cupcakes for our rehearsal dinner and the wedding cake for our wedding...we had 4 different flavors of cake between the cupcakes and the wedding cake...everything was so delicious! We were worried we might have ordered too many cupcakes, but the guest loved them so much most people had more than one!! Thank you Ashley Bakery for helping make our day super sweet!

Very timely with her response to emails. Was able to work with me since I was an out of town bride to send a tasting box. During the design meeting she drew over 5-6 designs and kept tweaking it until I was satisfied. She was able to draw from her years of experience to come up with a totally unique design. The cake was just as delicious on my wedding day and we received many compliments on the flavor. We also had 3 different flavor cakes which surprised all our guests.

Ashley Bakery was wonderful. We used them for our wedding cake and also for our welcome party. The welcome party, we used them for 4 dozen assorted cupcakes. The cupcakes and iciing were delicious. Great taste and well made. We had various flavors. Italian cream and red velvet and banana chocolate chip. The wedding cake was 3 tiers and beautiful. Each tier had a different flavor. They created the cake exactly like the design. Everything was delivered on time. Perfect group to work with. We will order cakes from them again in the future. Such a great place to get your desserts. They helped make our wedding a success. The guests all loved the taste of the cake.

I could not have been more pleased with our wedding cake from Ashley Bakery! Ashley beautifully designed the cake based off of my wedding dress so that it was one of a kind. Not only did it look beautiful, but it tasted better than any other wedding cake I've had. We did tastings at a few different bakeries, but the flavors at Ashley's were by far the most delicious. She will work with you to deliver exactly what you are looking for and have lots of suggestions and ideas if you don't know exactly what you want. Highly recommend!

Ashley Bakery is delicious! They did a beautiful job on our cake. The cake tasting was very professional, fun, and delicious. She sketched our cake right in front of us as we described what we wanted. It was perfect. They also can make a separate anniversary tier so the venue can cut up the entire cake at the reception. Our cake was exactly what we wanted and tasted amazing. We had three different flavors (marble, chocolate, and vanilla). They also did a Harry Potter inspired groom's cake and delivered it to my rehearsal dinner venue. He loved it! I will be using Ashley Bakery in the future for other events.

Perfect Groom's Cake! I really wanted to surprise my husband with an awesome groom's cake at our rehearsal dinner. I wanted his favorite hockey team's mascot wearing his college hockey jersey. They did an INCREDIBLE job. He was truly blown away. And the cake was delicious. They also have great customer service. I forgot to schedule delivery on the cake, and when I called the bakery 30 minutes into our rehearsal to ask about the cake, Hayden kindly said that I did not schedule delivery and she was the only one left at the shop working on wedding cakes (after hours). Hayden was kind enough to stay later and make sure that the store was still open when I sent someone to pick the cake up.

Our wedding cake from Ashley Bakery was beautiful and tasted amazing. These two things in combination make Ashley Bakery an excellent choice for your wedding cake. All of our guests commented on how good the cake was- I highly recommend their strawberry poundcake flavor with fresh strawberries (if the season is right). They were easy to work with from the time we set up a tasting, to refining details on the design. We are very happy with our choice of Ashley Bakery and would choose them again!

Ashley Bakery and Hayden are absolute gems! My now husband and I knew from the first sample we tasted at the bakery that we were going to go with them for our wedding cake. The bakery portfolio was beautiful, Hayden was so sweet and receptive to all of our ideas and every single cake flavor we sampled that day was moist and delicious. There are so many flavors to choose from too. I ended up eating an embarassing amount of the cake samples because they were simply too good. The ordering process was surprisingly easy and I felt that the price of our cake was more than fair. Throughout the wedding planning Hayden was responsive to emails and phone calls and flexible whenever we needed to make changes. On the day of the wedding Ashley Bakery truly delivered. Our cake was perfect! The gum paste flowers were gorgeous and the cake itself was elegant. We went with hummingbird with cream cheese icing and it was just as delicious as the samples had been. I received many compliments on both the looks and taste of the cake that night. We even had a guest who enjoyed the cake so much she grabbed an extra piece and wolfed it down as all of the guests were being escorted outside for our exit. Kudos Ashley Bakery and thank you Hayden! I enjoyed your cake so much we might have to eat that top tier before our anniversary and just order a fresh one for the 1 year!

Hayden and everyone at Ashley Bakery was awesome to work with! She took her time with to design the cake of our dreams. We could taste the different flavors offered, which was so fun. She drew the cake design while we were in the shop, which was very cool and personable. We were very satisfied and would highly recommend Ashley Bakery to anyone!

My wedding cake could not have been any more perfect! From the very first conversation with Hayden, I knew I could let her take the lead with our cake. She grasped the concept I was going for almost immediately. Being a baking and pastry graduate from The Culinary Institure of America, a lot of people held their expectations for my wedding cake pretty high. When we went in for our cake tasting, both my chef-husband and I were nothing but impressed. We knew we would have the best tasting wedding cake that anyone had ever had. When we saw it at the reception, we both agreed it was equally beautiful. It made our night. We would highly recommend Hayden and Ashley Bakery to ANY couple who wants her wedding cake to be the "icing on the cake" for her special day!

Ashley Bakery for the win! First off, Hayden is amazing! She responds quickly whether it's by email or phone and she works with you and will give you option after option until you're completely satisfied. Not to mention, the cake was delicious!!! We had Strawberry on bottom, Kahlua with White Chocolate filling, and our top tier was Carrot Cake. All three were a hit. Everyone had a favorite and not a bite of cake was left.

Ashley Bakery's cakes are to die for! The flavors are so fun and the cake is amazing! My guests loved it so much. Ashley Bakery helped me to pull off a surprise groom's cake for the rehearsal dinner that was awesome! They created a custom cake with my husband's favorite college team mascot- it was a huge hit! I gave Ashley Bakery 4 stars instead of 5 because my wedding cake wasn't exactly what I envisioned. I had my meeting with the bakery 5 months in advance, and believe that maybe the notes were not clear enough to re-create the vision I had 5 months later. The cake was still very pretty and tasted awesome, and nobody but me knew it wasn't correct. Overall Ashley Bakery was great to work with, their cakes are superb, and their decorating skills are on point. I would highly recommend them. I would just suggest giving them copies of pictures to keep and attach to the quote for additional guidance.

I loved working with Hadley at Ashley Bakery. She was so responsive to my millions of emails about my cake. Was so patient with every change. I adored my cake. Not only was it stunning it was good too!!! Most wedding cakes I have ever tasted are pretty but taste bland. Not my cake!!! Thank you so much for cake. Everyone thought it was fake because it was so perfect.

I have to start out by saying that my cake was absolutely stunning. I wasn't one of those brides who has always dreamed of exactly what kind of wedding I wanted, so when I met Hayden at the bakery I had no concrete ideas. She showed me pictures, gave me ideas, etc. She sent me a sketch and we got to taste a ton of delicious cake! She also made me an awesome groom's cake based totally on just an idea I had, and it was awesome! I highly recommend them...you won't be disappointed!!

We used Ashley Bakery for our wedding cake at our March 2015 wedding, and had an excellent experience! The tasting visit with them was very easy to schedule (we live out of state, so we were trying to fit in a number of vendor visits in one trip about 6 months prior to the big day). We had not put a lot of thought into the cake design or flavors prior to that meeting, but it was very easy to choose everything in one visit. The cake design we chose was simple and elegant, just as we wanted. We ended up choosing three tiers, with the bottom tier being vanilla almond, chocolate for the middle, and hummingbird for the top. All were delicious!! We did not end up freezing our top layer as we were flying back to the west coast a few days after the wedding, but we may order a small hummingbird cake from Ashley Bakery to eat on our trip back to Charleston for our first anniversary---it was so good! All in all, an excellent value for the price, delicious cake, and a very easy vendor to work with. Would definitely recommend!

A bakery near our home was supposed to make our cake. I had already paid them for it. I called on the Monday before my wedding (it was on Tuesday at 11 am)to see if the cake was ready and my parents could pick it up early. The woman informed me they were closed on Mondays and I did not have a cake. I told her to refund my money to my credit card and hung up. My now-husband called Ashley Bakery and then put me on the phone. The young lady on the phone was so sweet!! She immediately wanted to help. She went over all my options with me. She even offered to make my cake look like an island complete with chocolate candy shells!! Our wedding cake was absolutely beautiful!! Ashley Bakery is now my favorite bakery in the whole world!! They are all amazing there and I am forever grateful for them!

This was the first bakery I went to for tastings, and they were the best! I had a few pictures and ideas of what I wanted and they really helped me figure out which was really my favorite! They had done one like my picture that they could show me, but they also made the adjustments I wanted. We had a 4 tier cake with all different flavors. They had by far the best cake and icing that we tried! From that point on, every cake I tasted was compared to theirs and there was no comparison. AMAZING. Not only that, I contacted many, many bakeries with the picture of what I was looking for, and they came in well below other bakeries in the area and they were also able to do it in a different way so that I didn't have to have fondant. IT WAS PERFECT.

We decided to go with a dessert buffet and Ashley Bakery did a beautiful job preparing 100s of small desserts for our guests. They also baked a beautiful pecan pie for us which looked beautiful with our custom pie topper and I also purchased a Groom's cake which was delicous! I sent a picture of my groom's favorite surf board and they made a beautiful cake that looked just like the picture! Very pleased!!

The cake was gorgeous and delicious. Three tiers each a different flavor and then a grooms cake. All of the cake was yummy. The consultant they have however is incredibly rude, she seemed irritated, rushed and annoyed to be helping us/meeting with us the whole time. So bottom line, the cake tastes great but the staff was rude.

We used Ashley Bakery as our wedding cake and I cannot say enough great things. I had somewhat of an idea of what I liked and they were able to show me my vision even better than I thought possible! They were completely flexible with the flavors and we brought in our own cake topper that they were willing to put on top and worked with the florist to put real flowers on the day of the wedding! Really great cake too!

Ashley Bakery was so helpful in guiding us through the cake process. I had no idea on what I wanted but Susan was great in giving me ideas on the look and decorating ideas. We ordered a one-tier cake and 5 different mini cupcakes for our wedding. All their flavors are so delicious we had a hard time picking but loved the flexibility in ordering different flavors so that our guests can try multiple cupcakes. All the guests are still raving about how great all the cake was at the wedding!!!

We went for our cake tasting and it was impossible to choose just one flavor for our wedding cake. They were all so delicious... So we went with four favors! One for each tier! The cake looked so beautiful at the reception and tasted like a little piece of heaven! All of my cakes will come from them from now on!! So yummy!!

I don't like cake, never have. BUT...I was in LOVE with our wedding cake from Ashley Bakery. The taste was exceptional; the design was perfection; and the staff was so helpful throughout. I'm glad my caterers thought to save some for me and my husband because although we had enough for and an extra 20% of guests, it was all gone in about 30 minutes. That's how good it was...they all went back for 3rds!!!!

I ordered a cake and cupcakes for my wedding. We did 4 different flavors and 2 different icings. The cake ended up beautiful and the cupcakes were so moist that I was even able to freeze the left overs and a month later they are just like I picked them up from the store this morning. I highly recommend them for your wedding or any event. They are easy to work with and very creative. I am so happy to have used them for our cake and cupcakes.

My husband's cousin had gotten her cake from Ashley Bakery so we went for a tasting. Their flavors were delicious and unique! We decided to hire them to bake our wedding cake. They were a pleasure to work with! I gave them a picture of my dress and said I would like them to incorporate the details on the dress in the design on the cake. The design on the cake was perfect and the color green was spot on. The cake was moist and delicious ...so good! I highly recommend Ashley Bakery!

We used Ashley Bakery for our wedding cake as well as for my husband's grooms cake, both of which were gorgeous and delicious! Susan designed my wedding cake after the pattern of lace on my dress and the grooms cake was a very intricate representation of Wrigley Field. They are so talented and the cake was absolutely delicious too! Highly recommend!
