Ashley Carlascio Photography

ont of the camera, be ourselves, and have fun. After this, we knew we found the perfect photographer for our day. Anyone at the wedding could tell that Ashley knew what she was doing behind the camera and how to manage big crowds. Her attention to detail and knowledge of the what makes the wedding day flow, was so helpful for us. Ashley helped us create our shot list and she created the timeline for the day, which was one thing we did not have to worry about. Ashley truly cares about her clients and treats them as family. For example, she learns that names of your family and wedding party! We received a sneak peek the next day and the photos were absolutely gorgeous. The lighting and detail in every single photo was stunning. We could not recommend Ashley enough for any type of photos and can’t wait to work with her again in the future!!

e true. She listens to her clients, is incredibly kind, and has a special touch that will make your day feel that much dreamier. After seeing our wedding photos, a friend said, "These look like a celebrity wedding!!" I have nothing but wonderful things to say about our entire experience with Ashley and couldn't recommend her more!

d toured our venue to scope out the best places to get photos out. She genuinely was such a gem. After our first zoom call with her, we knew we were choosing her. If you are in Northern California, you NEED to choose Ashley!

ke Tahoe was a fantastic experience. Ashley helped us find the perfect location at the Palisades, which was exactly the scenery we wanted. We wanted to include our dog in our engagement photos and she captured his personality perfectly as well. It felt like we were working with a close friend the whole time. We're not used to having our pictures taken and were a little nervous at first, but Ashley made the process feel so natural and easy. We really enjoyed the entire experience and the photos came out perfectly candid, capturing our personalities so well. On our wedding day, Ashley and her team were a dream to work with. We got all the pictures we wanted with our family and friends without it feeling overwhelming or time-consuming. She kept everything fun and made us laugh, which we really appreciated. She delivered our sneak peak only after a couple days! The photos are light, airy, and exactly what we envisioned. We couldn't be happier or more grateful to Ashley for perfectly capturing our special day. Her work is stunning and we are so happy we worked with her. Thank you for everything Ashley!!

had previews to us the very next day, and all of our friends and family RAVED about them, calling the photos magazine quality. She is the best decision we made for our wedding day.

ll of our sessions and big day really helped set the tone and made us feel so comfortable. So many of our guests continue to comment on her presence. Cannot say enough good things about Ashley! If you're looking for someone to capture the big moments, small details and everything in between all while feeling like a friend celebrating you along the way, she is your gal.

ure taken. She was very good at helping us relax and embrace the moment. She used all her tips and tricks to get us to look natural in the amazing photos she captured. From the first meeting we had with Ashley, she understood our vibe. We didn’t want to do an engagement photo shoot and instead of pressuring us to do that (like some other photographers did), she told us that she completely understood and gave us the option of her coming to our welcome party instead of an engagement shoot, which ended up working out incredibly well. Ashley went above and beyond to prepare for our wedding. She had never photographed at our venue before, but she made a point of making several trips to the venue prior to our wedding weekend to scope out the best places for photographs and talk to the wedding coordinator at the venue to make sure she knew all the best spots for photos. She worked extremely well with all of our vendors and our wedding planner is still gushing about how wonderful Ashley was and how she can’t wait to work with her again. Ashley also navigated our families so well and made everyone feel special and seen on our wedding day. Ashley and her second shooter, Morgan, were an amazing team, and we have the best photos to remember everything. I cannot recommend Ashley enough! She’s the best!

for capturing the perfect shot truly sets her apart. From the beginning, Ashley was a pleasure to work with, making communication effortless and stress-free. She took the time to understand our vision and preferences, and her creativity and expertise shone through in every frame. She took the time to learn the names of our wedding party and immediate family. It really made them feel important as well as showed her commitment to us having an easy stress-free day! Ashley's ability to capture candid moments is truly remarkable. She has a keen eye for those special, unplanned moments that truly reflect the emotions and atmosphere of our wedding day. Looking through the photos, we were transported back to those heartfelt, joyous moments, and we couldn't be happier with the results. We also had the pleasure of having Ashely do our engagement and welcome party pictures. The smiles, excitement and love were all perfectly captured in pictures we will have forever. Not only did Ashley deliver outstanding candid shots, but her overall quality of work was exceptional. The composition, lighting, and attention to detail in every photograph were simply stunning. The reason for that is due to her incredible work ethic. She was a huge part of our timeline planning to ensure we got all the pictures we wanted from our shot wish list. After shooting a long wedding day, she was able to provide sneak peaks the day after our wedding for us to reminisce the day after! The happy tears remembering how amazing our wedding day was. We can’t say enough about how talented she is! Working with Ashley was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. She was professional, communicative, and went above and beyond to ensure we felt comfortable in front of the camera. Her calming presence and ability to make everyone feel at ease allowed us to relax and enjoy our day while she captured the magic unfolding. We are so grateful we were able to book Ashley and can’t wait for future events to work with her again! 

extended family before, during, and after the ceremony, and she also captured some excellent candid shots while roaming the venue during the welcome dinner and reception. Ashley cheerfully went above and beyond, indulging us when we wanted to sneak away for an unplanned sunset picture on the bluffs after the ceremony, and offering beautiful portraits of our friends and family during the reception. In brief, Ashley is great at what she does, and I highly recommend her.

envision ourselves spending the day with them. Not only are you vendors responsible for the content/memories/feeling of your day but they spend time with you. ESPECIALLY your photographer on the day of the wedding- sharing some of the most intimate moments with you. The second we met Ashley we knew we found our person, she is an incredible human being. Not only is she extremely talented, but she makes you feel so comfortable and nothing ever felt forced!! During some of the most intimate moments, we never felt like anyone was with us and during times where we needed support she was friendly and warm. I wish we could celebrate all over again just to spend time with her. Also, she went above and beyond when she didnt even need too... my bridesmaids and I booked Uber XLs to take us to the venue and needless to say one was very late! But we were saved because Ashley ended up driving me and three of my girls to our wedding :) best card ride ever!!! She is a dream to work with and please read her weekly newsletters because SO MANY helpful tips a tricks. We only have our "teasers" so far and I can already tell you that these are some of the best photos of us we've ever seen. Lastly, many vendors dont provide these additional services included in her package but Ashley came with everything included. We adore you Ashley - best vendor ever!

nd photographer. We are beyond happy with our experience and how perfectly she captured our big day. Our sneak peak was sent so so fast and our full album was beyond what we every expected! So incredibly pleased with everything Ashley did for us!

e for the whole process. She created a detailed timeline and went through it with us prior to the wedding and it was exactly what we wanted. On the actual wedding day Ashley made everything so stress free. Pictures went so quickly and were so easy with her guiding everything. She has a GREAT eye for detail and makes sure the pictures are perfect. She also learned many people’s names from the wedding party which speaks to her professionalism & how much she cares about her clients. There were no awkward moments when taking pictures and she managed a large group of people & kids with ease! We got a sneak peek of almost 40 picture by the next day and they were absolutely perfect. Every single picture!! I would use Ashley for any pictures I need in the future & would recommend her to anyone + everyone.

ough our photo choices (like whether to get sunset photos at the nearby beach, or closer onsite which would let us spend more time with our guests). She was so thorough with her timeline, we actually used her timeline over any created by our coordinators to plan our day. Ashley did such an incredible job putting us at ease and bringing out genuine moments of happiness between us, that she then captured beautifully. Both Ashley and her second shooter Morgan, navigated through our many family members efficiently and in such a friendly upbeat manner. We had multiple family members and guests comment on how great our photographers were at directing groups for photos and being present everywhere there was a moment to capture. Beyond their photography role, Ashley and Morgan felt more like friends than vendors on our wedding day. They helped us pin our boutonnière, figure out a pocket square, kept an eye for straightening Alyssa’s tie, and fashioned a tie clip from a bobby pin to keep the tie straight through the rest of the night. They thoughtfully brought a water bottle for us as we traipsed around the redwoods taking photos before our ceremony, and gave us snacks as they hid us in their car when guests were arriving to the ceremony site. As a queer couple, Ashley was the most conscientious vendor we worked with - from having neutral gender on her paperwork, to picking up on the subtle cues of what language we used to describe each other, we felt incredibly accepted and comfortable with her. We were initially drawn to Ashley for her creative vision - we loved the way she managed to capture moments of emotion and her images highlighting the nature surrounding her subjects. Our engagement photos in Yosemite and the sneak-peek photos of our wedding have been everything we hoped for, and we are so excited to see more!

were a little nervous about taking our engagement photos but now it’s one of our favorite memories from the whole wedding planning process. We had so much fun! She is so awesome and I would hire again in a heartbeat. She has great communication and puts a lot of care and detail into what she does. We really had such a great wedding and cannot thank her enough for capturing such a beautiful day. We will grateful for her for the rest of our years to come!

ade everything so incredibly fun and comfortable. She is a rock star! My wedding was pushed twice due to COVID and Ashley was a dream to work with. She was so accommodating and understanding and made a cruddy situation less stressful. She is wonderful! You won't be disappointed.

nted, are good people, and who I personally connect with. There was no doubt that Ashley checked those boxes and more. Ashley has an infectious positive personality. She is sweet, passionate, caring, kind, communicative, professional, fun, has a heart of gold and without question, talented. My husband and I have never taken professional photos before our engagement shoot with Ashley and were nervous about how "awkward" we would feel or look in front of the camera. If you are like us, do not worry, because Ashley truly has the gift of making everyone feel comfortable and beautiful in front of the camera from the start. Her work is breathtaking (literally when I opened our engagement photos and wedding sneak peaks -which she gave us in less than 24 hours!- she took my breath away). Her photography perfectly captures the genuine love, happiness, and personality of each couple. She is who you want capturing your life’s most precious moments. Why? Because her photos make you fall in love with your love all over again and will let you hang on to that “just married” feeling forever (speaking from experience here) As for our guests - let’s just say every single guest from our wedding was raving about Ashley! I could go on and on about Ashley, but in summary, I will recommend Ashley over and over again. She is the photographer that we will choose forever to capture the most important milestones in our lives. Ashley, you’re our photographer and friend for life. Thank you so much for capturing our love, joy, and happiness!

h. Her energy and positivity makes working with her so natural (especially for us camera shy people). We love Ashley and highly recommend booking her for you wedding/engagement photos.

for photos, but Ashley takes care of all that! She gives guidance for poses and provides really great cueing throughout the shoot. I love the style of her photography - clean, bright, and true-to-color. Ashley had our photos edited and back to us in only 2 weeks! The photoshoot itself was so fun! Ashley is always down for adventure. We spent most of it laughing and having a great time. Ashley is such a wonderful person to be around - I highly recommend her for engagement and wedding photos!

big crazy family. She was also very flexible after we had to move our venue due to COVID. She got our photos back to us quickly. Our guests and family love our wedding pictures. They help us to relive our big day every time we look at them.

or a better person to capture our story. We absolutely loved working with her.

you feel comfortable in front of the camera. Along with Ashley being one of the sweetest people ever, she is a truly gifted photograher - she has such an amazing eye and knows how to capture those beautiful moments that you get to look back on forever. There really aren't enough words to describe how wonderful and wonderfully talented Ashley is. I whole heartedly recommend Ashley and am already trying to think of another reason to have a session with her! Thank you Ashley! ❤

g wonderful photos, she is a direct, kind and honest communicator. She's organized, responsive, reliable, genuine, and just a joy to be around! My husband and I are not too comfortable in front of cameras, Ashley made us feel safe (lol) and we actually had a lot of fun being "models" for the day. We would love all our big life events shot by Ashley, we are so happy we chose her!

ee anyone else. Not only did she do an incredible job on our engagement and wedding photos themselves, but she was so thoughtful and communicative throughout the wedding planning process and made us feel excited and at ease. We can't sing her praises enough!

eye! She showed wonderful communication, professionalism and kindness throughout the entire process. We can't wait to book future photo shoots with her!

or us! We wanted photographs that capture emotion, motion and rich color, plus a photographer who was easy to work with! She was so organized, thoughtful, and helpful on the day of. One the day of, she made us feel so so incredibly comfortable. A few things that shows she goes above and beyond: 1) she knew all of the Hindu terms (outfit, ceremony, etc) 2) she learned all of our family members names and made the experience so personal 3) she sent us the most thoughtful newlywed gift. Loved loved working with Ashley! Would recommend her in a heart beat <3

ory and translate that to capturing our special moments on photo. She made sure to communicate effectively at the appropriate times, make sure I understood expectations and adjust where needed so I was able to get exactly what I was envisioning for our day. I am beyond excited to be able to relive our wedding day and look back at our beautiful pictures

he woman for us! Of course we LOVE her photos, the use of natural light and enhancing the natural beauty behind the couples along with the pure joy and love she captures. BUT the best part is working with Ashley! She is the sweetest human and put us at ease from moment one. So capable, organized and personal, you can tell she truly loves what she does and her clients :) With COVID-19 we had to re-imagine our dream wedding. This meant moving our larger celebration to 2021 and hosting a small ceremony in my parents backyard. The one thing I knew was I wanted Ashley to capture both days. Ashley worked with us on pricing out an elopement contract and flew down to southern CA and to capture our 20 person event. THEN she turned around preview photos in basically 24 hours. CANNOT wait to see the rest and am so grateful we get to do it all again in 2021!

d! We love our sneak peaks and cannot wait to see the final products! I would highly recommend her to other couples for their big day!

tures in a highly emotional state. The photos were beautiful and nicely edited! She is down to earth, sweet and communicative in all aspects. We are happy to share our positive experience with her on a super hectic and unpredictable day. She is reliable and delivers.

sion with Ashley, and she definitely hit it out of the park! We are in love with our photos and are so grateful to Ashley for giving us the ability to always remember this day through photographs.

hiring your own personal wedding cheerleader. She includes an engagement session in all of her packages, which really helps to get to know her and get comfortable in front of the camera. Then she is there every step of the way to help you coordinate and plan for your special day. She works wonders in roping in rowdy groomsmen, and knows just what to say to get the perfect poses and reactions out of people that make for photo gold! All of our pictures look like a dream. To top it off, she provides the pictures in an online gallery that you and your guests can download and order prints from as well as a beautiful keepsake zip drive as well. We will definitely be using Ashley for all of our photo needs moving forward, she's like family now!

ght away. We knew we could be comfortable in front of the camera around her. We had never had professional photos taken before (until our Engagement photos) and Ashley was great at taking the lead and giving us ideas of how to pose and what to do. We feel that she really captured the kind of pictures we wanted which showed our love for one another. We will forever cherish these photos and plan to use her in the future when we have a family! Thank you AVH Photography for capturing our special moments, and for creating a friendship along the way.

someone taking pictures of us not looking goofy (rare) and meet our dogs, who would later also be part of the wedding. The engagement pics turned out great so we knew we had made the right choice. When picking a photographer, I think it's very important to pick a photographer that you feel comfortable with on a personal level. You spent basically the entire day with this person! If you don't get along, or find them to be annoying, it's not going to be a good experience. LUCKILY, we just loved Ashley. She's fun but not intrusive and she totally knows what she's doing. She makes great use of her time (taking detail shots while bridesmaids are getting ready, had assistant to take pics of the groomsmen, etc. she kept busy THE WHOLE TIME) and she's very organized with taking the big family photos, which can be tedious. Ashley took SO MANY great pictures and she got them back to us faster than she had told us she would in the contract. We were seriously delighted and had such a great experience. Everyone who has seen our photos love them and have said what a great job she did! We HIGHLY recommend her and will definitely hire her again in the future for other sessions.

art to finish she makes the whole process enjoyable- even got my now husband comfortable behind the camera;) I highly recommend booking a package that includes engagement photos, we were both anticipating an awkward photo shoot, and Ashley immediately eased those nerves and made the whole process so fun! It took all the nerves out of the photo process for our wedding day too- we both just looked forward to seeing her! Ashley’s approach is so non-invasive that half the time we forgot she was there:) she is seriously the sweetest and most easy going person you’ll meet, it made all the difference in the vibe of our day! we loved having both Ashley and Nate there to photograph our wedding and celebrate with us- definitely feel like we gained friends from the process!! The most important part is how beautifully Ashley has captured some of the most important moments in our lives. She is insanely talented and her photos bring us right back to the memories of our amazing day and are absolutely gorgeous. She is beyond professional in her work and all the details made the whole process experience perfect. The final album she created for our wedding is one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen- and not just because it’s of us;) we will treasure it forever. I recommend AVH photography every time someone mentions a photographer! And I can’t wait to have a good excuse to do another shoot with her ♥️

t overall has great taste. She knows what works and what doesn't work and offers a ton of valuable insight into making your day run smoothly. She's experienced and prepared and that is so important in a wedding photographer. She handled our large bridal party and families with grace but efficiency. She listened to what we wanted and made it happen, all while capturing our favorite moments. You won't be disappointed choosing AVH Photography!

and majorly downsizing our wedding pretty last minute. Ashley stayed professional, flexible, and considerate with all the changes and kept a smile and her energy high and contagious through the whole process. She is so sweet! Not to mention the pictures we received after look like something out of a freaking bridal magazine. I 100% recommend her to others looking to have their wedding dreams come true. Trust me, you will NOT be disappointed!

th our portraits which allowed us to spend most of the time with our guests which is what we had hoped. In addition she captured such beautiful photos, our families still gush about them all the time. We loved working with Ashley and hiring her was one of the best calls we made for our wedding :)

appy we got to work with her to capture all the beautiful memories we'll cherish forever. She's all around wonderful - responds quickly, makes time to set up phone calls with you, teamed up with our videographer to get the best shots possible, and makes you feel happy and natural every time you're around her. You can tell in all her shoots how much passion and love she has for her work and her clients. We hope to have opportunities to work with you again in the future, thank you so much for everything!!

nable, professional and patient. I showed her some examples of poses I found online that I liked and we were able to recreate those poses along with her many other great ideas. When looking through all the photos, it read like a story, from the start of the day getting ready all the way until the end of the night dancing. Overall great quality photos that I couldn’t be happier with. I would definitely recommend AVH Photography.

LOVED all of them. She did an amazing job!

otographer on our wedding day (and engagement session!) and will cherish our photos forever! We had so many different shots and they were all great quality! I highly recommend her for your special day!

s extremely helpful during our wedding she knew exactly what shots she wanted and needed. We highly recommend her she will not disappoint, thank you for making our memories last a lifetime!
