From the first call you will immediately be able to tell this team is organized, efficient and ready to pull out all the stops for you and your honey. They take their time to get to know you as a couple in a few ways. I won't spoil any of the surprises but it's a great experience. Then on your wedding day then will literally capture the most breathtaking photos that you will want to plaster all over your house and social media. Rachel drove down to DC on a weekend for our engagement shoot, and her warmth and clear talent made us more comfortable in front of the camera. In the months before the wedding, the team was so responsive to any random question that came up, and they helped us create a very detail-oriented timeline for the day of the wedding, so there was no doubt for how things would run. It was so useful to start with this and loop in other vendors according to the day's progression. The morning of the wedding, Rachel and Liam arrived right on time and kept things running smoothly. Rachel kept an eye on the clock, ushered bridesmaids to the buses, and calmed me down when everything started to feel a little hectic in the final moments before departing for the ceremony. After the ceremony, Rachel and Liam struck the perfect balance between getting every shot we wanted, along with our desire to enjoy the entire cocktail hour. After the wedding, we couldn't wait to see the photos. The gallery was ready for viewing within a week of getting back from our honeymoon, and we met with Ashley to review an album design. We were absolutely floored by the photos. They filled in the details we missed on the big day (how did I not notice table centerpieces, or get a good look at the cake, or notice the adorable baby bopping on the dance floor?), captured a good sense of the day's progression, and just made us experience the joy all over again. They seemed to have a knack for capturing all of our special moments, without us taking it too seriously. I hope the album remains treasured for decades to come, because it's absolutely incredible to flip through. I can't recommend Rachel, Liam, and Ashley Gerrity Photography enough. They customized a plan to our budget and needs, demonstrated their clear talent, and were a joy to spend so much time with on our wedding day. More importantly, the photos they got were excellent! We were super, super happy with the photos they got. Hiring Rachel and AGP was one of the best choices we made for our wedding day. However, there are a couple of things we wish we'd known ahead of time: 1. Budget extra for prints and albums. The $500 "album credit" is NOT enough to cover an album, not even close, unless you're ready to cut out a lot. 2. They're photographers, not psychics. If there is a tiny detail or a VIP that could go unnoticed, MAKE SURE you tell them. The only details Rachel missed were the ones we forgot to tell her about.

Ashley was easy to work with, super down to earth and scheduled a phone call for us to talk initially since we couldn't meet in person before booking with the distance. Ashley was super accommodating and met with me a couple times during my trips back home before the wedding. We were also able to coordinate meeting with Ann ahead of time too (as she is a nurse as well). I felt it was super important to get to know the people who would be photographing and editing our big day and was not disappointed! Their positivity and upbeat vibe made it feel like they could be your best friend and were so relatable. Ashley was able to truly work within our budget and gave us a wonderful experience-we had a 6 hour brunch wedding and didn't need as much coverage as someone who had an all day wedding with prep. The photos were GORGEOUS and we received all our images in less than 3 weeks after the wedding! Ann and Jenn were at the venue on the morning of even before we were, ready to go! They sent out a survey of questions ahead of time about what we wanted to capture on the big day with lots of details of who is who, where do they need to be, timing etc... it all fell into place and was super organized. We received everything we asked for! I honestly, cannot stop looking at the gallery of images. The color is excellent- and they know how to really manage the light which is super important. Every picture was beautiful, and every moment with Rachel during the session was enjoyable. On our wedding day Rachel and Jen took prep pictures of me while Ann took pictures of my husband. They helped me fix my garter, get the bridal party loaded on the bus, made sure our grandmother made it to the car safely, and simply made the day easier for us. Rachel even worked with my family to have a hidden surprise for me in the background of my prep pictures. When I while I was putting my dress on they hung a picture of my late father on the wall behind me. I had no clue that he was looking over me until we went to review our pictures. I was moved to tears when I saw his smiling face in the background. This is just one of the many special moments that Rachel and crew were able to capture from our God kissed day. These ladies were not just the photography team, they were apart of our team. They are lovely, caring people and great photographers, and we look forward to working with them again for another major milestone in our lives.

My husband lived out of town and Ashley was super flexible, making sure to set time aside for us when he was in town for a few days to take our engagement photos. We had never really been in front of a camera in that way before and Ashley made us feel very comfortable, capturing some very natural photos. Communication with Ashley was effortless whether it was through email or phone and her responsiveness was extremely quick. During the planning process, Ashley would send sweet little gifts in the mail, from a wedding planning "kit" to an album with our engagement pictures that we weren't expecting. During the reception, Ashley and Jenn set up a digital picture frame with pictures from the day. At the end of the night, Ashley said she had a little gift waiting for us at our table - it was a small album with some preview pictures. It was such a surprise (how did they do that?!?) and a sweet gift that we were able to share with our family and friends the next morning. so down to earth and easy to work with and knew exactly the style and types of photos we were looking for! We scheduled our engagement session for late March 2016 and the day started out sunny, warm (for March), and looked like it was going to be a gorgeous day for photos. Then about an hour before, the temperature dipped dramatically and the skies became cloudy and dark. We were afraid that our photos were not going to look that great; however, we were (thankfully) wrong and pleasantly surprised at how great those photos came out. Everyone raved about how great they were! This got us even more excited to work with Rachel for our wedding day. Leading up to our wedding day, the weather seemed to be following a similar pattern: dark, cloudy, cold, and now rainy skies. We were bummed but also knew what Rachel was able to do the last time the weather wasn't great so it put us at ease. The day of the wedding, it started off with drizzling rain and cloudy skies but that didn't matter -- Rachel & Ashley both did an incredible job capturing some beautiful pre-ceremony photos. And then, when the time came for us to do our photos at our reception venue before or cocktail hour, the skies had cleared enough, the rain had stopped, and we had this GORGEOUS red/orange sunset to compliment the beautiful fall foliage! Rachel is able to capture amazing photos in inclement weather; give her a beautiful location and lighting and the images will blow you away! From that very first phone call in November 2015 up until (and even after) our wedding day, Rachel was a ROCK STAR!! She was on top of everything, staying in touch and coordinating details with us all throughout the process. We never had to second guess our choice to hire Ashley Gerrity Photography or worry that our photos wouldn't come out great. Rachel was amazing and we knew we were in great hands! She did whatever it took to get the shot, whether that was walking down into a dense, wooded ravine to capture a shot of us on a bridge during our engagement photo session or sitting on the cold, wet, leaf-covered ground on our wedding day, she always gave 110%! Ashley delivered our photos quickly after our wedding; so quickly in fact, friends of mine whose wedding was before ours were jealous that we received our photos first… and they should be – Ashley is simply the best! We look at the photos often and are truly able to relive the day through the beautiful photography Ashley and Rachel captured. hat! I had small crowds around the ipad looking at the sneek peak of photos! She makes you feel so comfortable and will take any photo you ask! She also has a special way of finding great moments- she found a rainbow in a fountain and was able to capture it in our photos! I plan on recommending her to all of my friends! I am definitely uncomfortable in front of a camera, so she was able to provide me and my now husband with step-by-step instructions on how to pose for the camera. She was patient with us and captured so many amazing shots from the engagement shoot and through our wedding day. She was always available to answer even the silliest question and even took the time a couple nights before the wedding to make sure I was relaxing and taking in the whole experience. It's the little things that are the most important especially when there are so many photographers out there. Her attitude and professionalism won us over and we were never worried about our choice. Our engagement photos came out breathtaking and we still receive compliments for them and the shots we have seen so far of our wedding are phenomenal. y in person at a Barnes and Noble where she showed us her work and what she could do with a camera in her hand, obviously we had lots of questions and she unhesitatingly was able to answer and accommodate for all of them (Even the weird ones and yes we had many of those!)! Throughout the process Ashley kept us informed and treated us like people rather than just clients. She even helped me with my photography homework (totally not kidding! She IS that awesome!). During our engagement shoot my poor husband was unable to walk around to much due to a recent knee injury but Ashley helped him hobble along and got great shots anyway. You wouldn't have been able to tell there was anything wrong with his knee. She posted the pictures for us to view in a reasonable amount of time (not like months ... I had a friend wait 8 months before getting to see all of her photographs with a different photographer). As predicted the photos came out gorgeously and we were very happy. She shot our wedding yesterday so we're waiting with great anticipation to see our wedding day shots! She had 2 assistants with her for the wedding itself. Ivy and Michael (the assistants) were also very nice and great to deal with as well. Ashley Gerrity Photography is the real deal, if you want great photos with no worries on the big day she's the obvious pick!
