We are beyond impressed and amazed by our experience. When you book Ashley Ice Photography for your wedding, you are in a way gaining another wedding planner. There is no detail too small for Ashley and her team. Ashley made me feel like I was her ONLY client. We probably have hundreds of text together. She was always available so I could ask her recommendations regarding overall wedding design (bridesmaids attire, veil selection, second look, bride morning outfits, ceremony layout, stationary, signage, how to incorporate my dog in the wedding…) the list goes on and on. She could just see my entire vision from the beginning and help me make decisions accordingly.
You truly are getting SO MUCH MORE than someone just showing up on your wedding day to take photos. It was so helpful to have someone to lean on to make design decisions who has so much experience in the industry. Ashley is an expert at design and latest trends while still being original. She has also built great relationships with other wedding vendors and was even communicating behind the scenes to ensure no detail was missed leading up to the wedding.
We also used AIP services for videography. We used to say video was something we wouldn’t invest in, until we met AIP.
In my eyes, video is a long term investment because it is something we will enjoy for every anniversary the rest of our lives. Luke, the videographer, is so gifted and his work does the talking (truly, the work is a cinematic experience.) I love that AIP offers both photography and videography because it allows for a very cohesive look.
Wedding day Ashley and her entire team amazed my husband and I. They truly are a well oiled machine. Ashley was even making live edits to the timeline for her team on her phone so the team could be informed on what to do/where to go pretty much on the minute. They all make you feel so comfortable in front of the camera. They are professional while also always hyping you up!
Content creation: DO IT! A SERVICE THAT I WAS SO HAPPY I BOOKED! Ashley has created a number of reels and it’s so fun for my husband and I as well as our family and friends to relive the best day ever! Not to mention, we have over 2000+ clips that the content creator took that we were able to enjoy and relive our wedding day just the next day on our way to our honeymoon.

I loved seeing her knowledge highlighted in her detailed and thorough styling book and wedding prep guide that she mails out when you start working together. I wasn’t expecting that and was extremely impressed, and I constantly referred back to them during the planning process! Her photography specializes in natural lighting and is the epitome of Vogue. She made me look and feel like I could’ve been a runway model! I am absolutely obsessed with my photos!! She made both my husband and I look HOT! Ashley let us pose naturally, but would guide us to create that perfect, fine art shot. None of my photos looked posed or fake and none of them were bad shots or a photo I didn’t like because of the angle, my body, my expression, etc. She would give reminders such as, “soft smile” or “shoulders back” to revel a confident and sexy stance. This made all the difference in photos! She also has experience with publications, if that’s something important to you. Since her focus is fine art and she knows what publications look for, she’s very meticulous with all your details. She will intentionally capture all the meaningful details and the parts of your wedding that make you and your husband different from every other bride and groom. She’ll ask about what’s important to you and the story behind it, and if there’s something you didn’t think about, she’ll advise you on creative ways to personalize it for you. Most photographers are great at one or two things, but Ashley Ice Photography is seriously the whole package! She’s great with timelines and improvising on the spot, she’s creative and a quick thinker, she’s hilarious, she loves love, she’s the best at styling your outfits choices and your paper products and other small details, her recommendations always blew me away, she’s very open and honest, and she’s simply worth her package value so stop wasting time and just HIRE HER!! Ashley scheduled a zoom call to help plan our engagement shoot which ended up turning into two shoots because of everything I wanted to incorporate. Instead of making me put all pictures together in one day - she allowed me to separate my two visions so we weren’t overwhelmed.
Ashley was also there to help me decided on outfits, hair etc. Letting me know which outfits would look best for my vision. Not only was the day of both shoots non-stressful but Ashley made the process fun. She also let me be my extra self and have multiple outfit and hair changes so that we were able to get the shots we wanted.
While my wedding is still 10 months away, I am so excited for what she has in store for us. She even had a tentative wedding shoot schedule before my wedding planner has made a schedule. This was so helpful in my planning process.

ou, and your fiance/husband will spend SO much time together between your engagement session, planning, the actual wedding day, and then all of the editing and album creation after! All that being said, it was such a good decision to select Ashley as our wedding photographer!! We met when one of my best friends got married right after I got engaged and I hadn't even thought about planning but knew I liked Ashley. She was efficient, bossy in the best way possible (b/c she has to be b/c the day of is like herding cats to get the shots you want!!), kind, and talented.
We got married in Vail, Colorado and Ashley did such a great job capturing the beautiful scenery and our big day! During the planning process, she actually had a timeline ready before our planner to make sure she would get the best lighting and had enough time to get all the shots I wanted! Ashley is very professional and makes you feel comfortable and that is so important on your wedding day. Having her there in the hotel room with us taking all the getting ready shots was like having an old friend around and that just brings an air of ease that you can't replicate with anyone else. Knowing that I had less then a year until I was getting married I honestly figured that they would most likely be book up and booking into the next year like most photographers were already but I wanted to give it a shot to try and book them, by some sort of fate I got a email from Ashley stating my date was open. I was over the moon excited. We met with Ashley and Amber and they were total sweethearts we felt so relaxed and at ease they made us feel like we belonged in their studio, which was a welcoming feeling compared to what we had experienced in meeting with a few other photographers we felt like they truly cared about photography and wasn't in it just for the money. I knew immediately these were our photographers! Amber took our engagement photos very recently and they turned out beyond amazing! They provide this amazing style guide that gives you recommendations on tips on what to wear to make your pictures the best they can be and that helped tremendously to choose my dresses. I'm a very self conscious girl, I often criticize myself on my looks but the day I had my engagement pictures done I had never felt so beautiful in my life no joke. Amber had made the poses feel so natural and fun for us, it wasn't awkward like we thought would possibly be, Ashley and amber were also very welcoming to the idea of having our dog who is our world in our photos. I’ve had several friends tell me how awkward it was when they took engagement photos, but Ashley made is so fun, comfortable and carefree. Not to mention we got INCREDIBLE photos with a great turnaround time! You know you’ve found the right photographer when they’re helping you put on a long, more complicated than it needs to be wrap dress in the middle of a parking lot in downtown KC. To some extent it feels like working with a friend rather than someone you’ve hired. Ashley is incredibly professional, and offers more help than with just the photography aspect of the wedding.
