Ashley and I really hit it off starting at the engagement session. She came into the session with a game plan and everything was awesome! Wedding day was no different! Ashley and Kayla were INCREDIBLE! My husband and I had a few things we really cared about: trying to get as many pictures done during first look as possible so we could enjoy cocktail hour with friends and family, I really wanted the cool crossing the street shot, and a cool shot in my husband's grandpa's car and Ashley and Kayla delivered with all of the above!! They both made me feel so comfortable and were assertive with who we needed when and where (which is important with our families). They captured so many incredible and hilarious moments. I haven't stopped looking at our pictures since I got them, which by the way took less than a month!! Amazing!!! 10/10 would recommend! I am beyond happy with booking Ashley<3

I mean…I knew it was going to be the best day of my life but Ashley and her team was BEYOND anything I could have ever imagined. Every time I go to speak about it, I am at a loss for words. Ashley was incredible, and I am just so grateful that she was available for our day. Ashley went ABOVE AND BEYOND and exceeded all of my expectations. She prioritized my vision and my shot list. She was available for every email, phone call, etc. I even asked her to come to the venue walk through with me and she did. She also felt so comforting, calm, etc to have around during a chaotic day and always had our best interest in mind. The laughs, conversations, and little moments we had in between photos were so special. She wasn't just a photographer, she felt like a friend that we had with us. We had a few sneak peaks within hours of the wedding. I’m so glad I spent my entire day with Ashley and Kayla, I just felt so lucky to have them. Not only was she my photographer, but she will forever hold such a place in my heart. I found Ashley on Pinterest after searching a venue that I liked. I went to her website and I knew almost immediately that I wanted her to be our wedding photographer after reading her website and post about a wedding she had photographed in couples backyard. She described such detail of their day, her photos made me feel as if I was right there with the couple. I truly felt like I was there in that moment looking at the photos and reading her post. It touched me so deeply that she was so genuine and real. I planned my entire wedding 3 months before the big day and Ashley was the fish person I hired. In fact, my wedding day was selected based on her availability haha! (Seriously !) On my wedding day, she showed up to my house early and with a huge smile on her face and a warm hug. She helped the day run smoothly and was a pleasure to work with. Would definitely recommend her to anyone!!!!

I was looking for a photographer for our small, casual NYC wedding and stumbled across Ashley while researching our venue. Her beautiful, bright, airy photos immediately stuck out to us and were exactly what we wanted. From the moment we reached out to her she was nothing but kind, helpful, and reassuring. She replied to emails quickly, and even called me to help me walk through the timeline of the day when I was feeling overwhelmed by planning! The day of the wedding was our first time actually meeting Ashley in person, but it didn't feel that way at all. Ashley has such a chill, funny, calming presence that definitely made me feel at ease even when I was internally freaking out over everything, lol. She was so patient with our families, had creative ideas for photos and constantly asked us our opinions and if we wanted more photos. She even sent me a few sneak peaks an HOUR after the wedding ended! We've since received all of our photos and they are absolutely beautiful. Planning a wedding is stressful but thankfully photography was the one thing we NEVER worried about thanks to Ashley. We're hoping to be able to work with her again some day in the future!

Ashley is one of the best decisions we made about our wedding! We did our engagement shoot with her one year out from our wedding and the moment we met we just clicked. She is fun and professional and so talented. We were comfortable with her during the entire shoot and our photos were stunning! We have not only found the best photographer on the east coast, we have made an awesome friend! Ashley photographed our intimate beach wedding in Treasure Island, FL, and I cannot recommend her enough!! I reached out to Ashley after one of her photos stood out to me in the crowd of Pinterest. We were looking for a candid style photographer with a relaxed style thats both modern and timeless. After chatting with Ashley on the phone, it was clear we found the perfect match in terms of both personality and style- Ashley was so easy to talk to and every (prompt) communication reminded me that she cared, listened and knew exactly what she was doing. She outlined the timeline during our first phone call so we were never left wondering what the process would be like. Wedding planning is stressful and overwhelming and at times and vendors don’t always come through. But with Ashley, she made us feel like we were being guided by a true professional through a process she is a master at. The connection and ease we found with Ashley shows through in the photos. My husband and I both feel totally awkward, tense and out of our element in front of a camera which is why hiring Ashley was such a perfect fit. She helped us to feel confident, comfortable and guided us into feeling like our best selves. At no point did I feel self- conscious, which is a miracle! I’ll be honest, I am very critical of photographs of myself and had high expectations for our wedding photos. However, the photos Ashley produced blew even my wildest expectations out of the water!!!! I am still in awe of how filled with love, emotion and light the photos are. The most candid, intimate moments captured artfully. On a practical note, Ashley offered lots of much needed guidance (so glad we did a first look). On the wedding day she was punctual, moved swiftly through the portrait session, often checked in with us and made sure we got all the photos we wanted. When Ashley arrived, I was in a bit of a panic when a vendor did not show up. It really touched me when she offered reassurance, gave me some tips on makeup and helped my wedding party figure out how to button my dress. All in all, we loved working with Ashley. She has such a positive and chill energy and is a joy to be around. Our guest also loved Ashley and assumed she was a friend because of how well she harmonized with the group. I had no idea our low key wedding could look so incredibly beautiful. The finished photos ooze class, sophistication and refinement. Ashley is a master in her craft- do not pass her up. We will treasure these photos forever, thank you Ashley!!

Ashley is an absolute dream photographer and an even better person. From the very first interaction with her, I knew she was going to take the time to invest in us. Because of COVID we had to postpone our wedding and ultimately ended up planning a backyard intimate wedding with less than 20 people there for the safety of a couple members of our family. Ashley was more than willing to help in anyway that she could to ease our worries of having a safe gathering. She’s an incredible person who takes even more incredible photos. The thing I wanted most for the day were photos that captured the love my husband and I share and that our families have too. She delivered that and more. You can truly feel everyone’s emotions through each photo. Our gallery is like looking at our own personal fairytale. Also, incredibly impressive, we got our sneak peaks the very next morning and our gallery in less than week. We were in total awe from start to finish with Ashley and her work! Ashley is type of photographer who truly cares about her clients, and it shows in her photos. There are many things I can say about her, but our wedding day wouldn’t be what it was without her. Even before we met, she was always communicative, willing to text or jump on a quick call. During our engagement photos, she made us feel so comfortable and we had such a great time walking around Ybor and finding places to shoot. I always joked and said if you can get my now husband to willingly take photos and look like he’s enjoying himself throughout the process, then I’m giving you all my money. The thing I love most about Ashley is she captures the real moments of your day. The glances, the laughs, the tears…I only have my sneak peaks from my wedding and I seriously can’t stop looking at them. In reality, your photographer is going to be the person you spend the most time with during your wedding day. I couldn’t recommend Ashley enough to be that person. She is fun, so kind, and her photos are absolutely GORGEOUS!

We worked with Ashley for our wedding - she was everything we hoped for and more. From day one she was communicative, professional, and fun. She responded promptly to email and phone calls, met with us several times leading up to our wedding day, and worked seamlessly with our day-of coordinator. On the day of, Ashley showed up on time and in great spirits. She put us at ease while giving great direction which allowed our photos to come out looking so natural. Best of all she sent us sneak peeks THAT NIGHT! Before we knew it Ashley had delivered all of our photos in an easy to use online gallery. Speaking of photos - we didn’t know we could look so good! Ashley is the best. From the first few minutes of working with her for our engagement photos, I could tell her personality was going to help us feel comfortable and at ease. Her photos are phenomenal and she genuinely does her best to allow you to be comfortable so that she can capture your true personalities and emotions. On our wedding day she captured the most beautiful shots, we are truly OBSESSED with all of our pictures. Ashley has such an amazing work ethic and will spend countless hours filtering through photos and editing so that you don’t have to wait weeks or months for pictures. She understands how excited you are to see what she captured and works so hard to get you some sneaks or previews right away.

Our wedding was originally planned for 9/2020 however with venue restrictions we didn’t end up getting married until 6/2021. We also had a last minute change of venues due to covid restrictions. Ashley was very easy to work with through it all. On our wedding day Ashley was super professional and great at making the whole wedding party and family feel comfortable during pictures. On top of it all we got our wedding album back while on our honeymoon not even ONE week later and the pictures were beautiful ! We cannot recommend Ashley enough!

Words can’t express how phenomenal Ashley is. She photographed our friend’s wedding and as soon as I saw their pictures I was obsessed and knew she was the only photographer for us! She so deftly captures the spirit of every moment, and the pictures look natural and seamless. We will treasure the pictures forever. Also, she’s so on top of her stuff, so friendly, and so fun to work with. AND she bent over backwards to get to our wedding location outside of NYC when rental cars were scarce. A true gem. Ashley was so helpful and accommodating. I really wanted someone that can shoot people of different skin tones and different body shapes. In the wedding industry you don’t see many people that aren’t the typical standard but Ashley made me and my husband feel beautiful. Hire her if you want beautiful photography!

I really can’t fit all of the amazing things I have to say about Ashley in this little review. I didn’t realize what a big part of my wedding day the photographer would be (especially since we did a courthouse elopement and it was just the 3 of us) and I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else other than Ashley with us. She was friendly, funny, and easy to work with on top of taking INCREDIBLE photos. Her work is stunning. And she sent me a few preview photos within an hour after the session so I’d having some shots immediately. SERIOUSLY HIRE HER. YOU WONT REGRET IT.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience working with and getting to know Ashley. We contracted Ashley to do engagement and wedding photos for us in 2019, and she stuck by us throughout the year-and-a-half-long saga that was our wedding planning, rescheduling, rescheduling again, and ultimately cancelling our wedding due to the pandemic. Ashley still worked with us to make sure we got our stunning wedding photos, even though we didn't end up having a wedding ceremony and reception. Beyond being extremely responsive and professional (and talented!), Ashley was also incredibly supportive and knowledgeable, and brought inspiration to both of our photo shoot days when we had no idea what we wanted or what we were doing. Her warmth and professionalism put us at ease and made every experience we had working with her great. And our photos are stunning. Looking forward to working with Ashley again one day soon!

Our wedding was planned for March 2020. It was literally the first weekend COVID shut down everything, and we were so upset. Ashley was so great when we were rescheduling and so comforting through the whole process. We decided to get married anyways on or original date and to celebrate later! She went above and beyond to capture those moments as well! Fast forward to our smaller celebration seven month later. Ashley was so much fun to work with and my bridal party loved her! She was very efficient and capture moments we will cherish forever!! The photos are AMAZING and we could not be happier with them. We could not recommend her enough!

We eloped at the Ringling museum, so Ashley was literally the only person there. And I couldn't have been happier with the outcome. She is absolutely amazing both as a photographer and a person. I can’t even begin to explain Ashley. Her vibe is everything, and it shows in your photos. She is such a cool person - it really helps you relax and not feel so so awkward during photos! I'm certain that we met Ashley by fate. Not only did Ashely provide us with the most incredible moments from our wedding day, but she also made us feel super comfortable and confident throughout the entire booking process and wedding day. My (now) wife and I aren't the best in front of a camera... but Ashley was able to give us the direction that resulted in the most NATURALLY beautiful photos we could have imagined. Nothing ever looked forced or cheesy. She captured every moment perfectly and with such grace. Our final album was delivered quickly and was organized by the show flow of the wedding. Ashley was assigned to Corey and I's wedding due to my hired wedding photographer being out for maternity leave. I did not have the chance to meet Ashley before our wedding day, but, Rebecca (my hired photographer) knew exactly what she was doing when she assigned Ashley to Corey and I. Immediately when I met Ashley, I could see how much she loved her job. She worked tirelessly all day to get the most perfect shots. One very unique idea Ashley had was to incorporate the farm animals into some of our pictures! OMG the pictures turned out amazing! She is very creative, and is constantly working to capture the best photo. Above all, I had so much fun taking pictures with her. We have so many pictures where so many people are laughing... and that is exactly what I wanted - to have documentation showing how fun the day was! She made the entire process so fun and effortless... and the moments she captured are absolutely priceless. I still cry 6 months later when I look at the photographs! If you want a photographer who makes the entire process very NATURAL and FUN, hire Ashley!! I cannot say enough great things about her. Honestly, look no further and HIRE ASHLEY! She was truly INCREDIBLE to work with. Our original photographer couldn't be physically present to shoot our wedding due to the arrival of her new baby girl, and Ashley went above and beyond. Our wedding day required an unusually large amount of family photos and she was graceful in keeping everyone on time, and made the entire photo process extremely enjoyable (I HATE HAVING MY PICTURE TAKEN LOL!) She is down to earth, tells it like it is, and made the day so much fun. We loved seeing Ashley right in the mix of all of the reception fun and capturing some of our favorite memories of what was an insanely wild/fun time! Seriously, just hire Ashley. Next to our wedding planner, she was by far our favorite vendor on our big day. You won't regret working with her.

GUYS. Ok so when they say your photographer is your most important vendor they’re not joking. And when I tell you that Ashley has you feeling the most confident and comfortable from the second you hang up the phone... I’m not joking. After filling out her questionnaire there’s very very little left so discuss. She’s calm, professional, and knows how to get sh*t done! My family.. lol my family is not the easiest group of “adults”.. but from start to finish Ashley had it all covered. I can honestly say i just had to stand there and look pretty. My pictures came out unbelievable. My family still goes crazy every time we look at them.. she captured EVERYTHING. And the detail 😍!!!!!! I didn’t have a videographer and it DOESNT MATTER because I look at these pictures and relive the entire thing. ASHHHHLEYYY Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you!!!!!!!

Ashley is AMAZING! We had a destination wedding in St. Pete’s Beach with about 40 people and we wanted a very relaxed wedding day. Ashley was so easy to communicate with prior to the trip and she was very interested in what WE wanted out of the photos. When the day came she was very professional, but also so fun and relaxed. She was able to organize everyone so that we never lost track of time and were able to get all of the important photos we wanted. Not only was she great to work with, her photo gallery was beyond what we could have imagined. **Disclaimer: Ashley did not do our editing because she was our fill in photographer, but we loved all of her ideas for unique photos. She was great at keeping us excited throughout the photo sessions and she definitely did not make us looked posed. I could not recommend Ashley enough to anyone looking for an amazing photographer. 🧡

If there is one vendor you want to make sure is the BEST on your wedding day, it is your photographer. Ashley is AMAZING from start to finish. She is absolutely a professional- she is organized and sends out a questionnaire to make sure she understands you and your vision. She has such a great energy- even if you're shy or introverted, she brings out the best in you and your fiance just by being excited for you! She is fantastic with making you feel at ease and takes shots without you being too posed, no fake smiles! She has a great use of color in her photos, making everything about your wedding look vibrant. We had the best time with Ashley and would highly recommend her!

If you want to feel super cool and calm on your wedding day, have a photographer who gets things DONE and get pictures back the next day, then HIRE ASHLEY. I met Ashley almost two years ago at wedding event after I got engaged and I won a free engagement photo sessions with her. Basically from then on she was on my radar to be our wedding photographer. Ashley makes you feel like you’re one of her friends, which makes taking photos super fun and not awkward at all. She gets EPIC shots and literally makes you look SO GOOD even if you think you won’t. She is BEYOND talented in her craft and has an eye for arranging things and people in a way that others wouldn’t think to do. She got sneak peak photos back to us the next day (I KNOW YOU’RE JELOUS) and we were basically gawking at them for hours. They were all STUNNING and we cannot wait to see the rest. Her second shooter Olivia was also amazing and it was a pleasure to have her there, especially taking photos of the groom/groomsmen. Moral of the story- HIRE ASHLEY OR YOU’LL REGRET IT.

Hosting a destination wedding was stressful because we were unable to see the venue or meet vendors prior to wedding week. Ashley put my mind at ease from the very beginning. I found Ashley after scouring through wedding websites & social media. After looking through her Instagram, I was obsessed with her style of photos and knew she was the one! I immediately reached out to her and from the beginning she was so fun and responsive and super down to earth! When it was time to shoot our engagement photos, we texted back & forth about my outfit before we even met. We did our session at Armature Works and she made it so comfortable for us, and getting to know her was so fun! On our wedding day, Ashley showed up earlier than what was on the timeline and started taking photos right away. It honestly felt like a friend showing up to take pictures! She was so fun, got along with everyone and made sure we were following the timeline. She is AMAZING at what she does, and I was blown away with the previews she showed me on her camera. She even sent us a few sneak peeks at the end of the night and I was overwhelmed with how amazing they were! She is THE BEST and was 100000% worth the investment! The day after our wedding, we already had sneak peek photos that we could enjoy and share with friends and family. Ashley's turnaround time is wild. Because my husband and I were living abroad and then out of state up until the wedding date, we didn't have time to have one-on-one or sit down time with Ashley to get to know her before the wedding, but it was still so easy to feel comfortable with her. I am camera shy and incredibly awkward, but I didn't see that in the pictures at all and really appreciate having such great photos to always remember this day by. We've already gotten lots of compliments from friends and family of the pictures we have so far (we just got married three days ago). Also, Ashley's photo website is really easy to use to share and download pictures, which is so nice to have.

Ashley was absolutely phenomenal! She was professional but fun, and made everyone feel at ease when getting their picture taken. Our photos are so beautiful and she was quick and didn't make us pose for forever. We were able to enjoy our wedding because we didn't have to take pictures for so long. I could not have asked for a better photographer! Not only are the pictures perfect but she got them to us in record time! She even sent us some previews the day after the wedding which was amazing! I could not be happier with the photos that Ashley and Ana produced at our wedding. We were planning from a distance and looking to work with a photographer that understood the natural, non-fussy, candid aesthetic that we wanted as opposed to the cheesy (well, what we considered cheesy), dramatic, editorialized wedding photography that is so abundant. I was immediately drawn to Ashley and Ana's unique eye. They both have an innate ability to capture the moment in such a special way. Not to mention they were a total joy to work with on the actual day of the wedding. They came right in and knew exactly what they needed to get and were excellent communicators while still creating a fun, lively, lighthearted environment. It was so funny to watch them get excited as they were shooting our photos—they truly love their job and it shows in the end product. Our guests were super impressed with them as well. We've gotten so many comments on how well we did choosing our photographers based on how the photos turned out. And one of my uncles even commented on how unintrusive they were. Ashley and Ana got us AMAZING pictures and in they shot them so quickly, meaning we could spend less time in front of the camera and more time enjoying the party we had spent a year planning and investing in. I could not recommend them more!!

After meeting with a couple other photographers, meeting Ashley felt like meeting up with a friend. She has an amazing passion for photography and puts her heart into the work she does. We loved working with her for our engagement photos- it was fun and natural. After getting our engagement pictures back, we were even more excited to her work for our wedding. Ashley did not disappoint! We LOVE them and our family, friends, and co-workers all have said that our photographer did a great job. She sure did! Ashley was such a sweetheart to work with! She was always kind, caring and funny from the start. She is very professionally organized and booking and securing our contract with her was very easy through her website. She even allowed payment plans with helped with our budgeting, and her website service provided reminders of the next payment. She had amazing reviews, and her photos really back up her work. I saw she had shot at the same venue where I was going to have my wedding at, so that really gave me peace of mind that she was familiar with the area. A month prior to the wedding, she provided a form to fill out that listed everything we were looking for that day (ex. Shots with grandparents, a street shot, college buddies pic, etc.), and she created a detailed timeline of the day. She is very flexible and easy to work with your vision. She really has the day down to a science! I think the thing I appreciated most about Ashley was her creative touch and vision. She isn’t a traditional photographer, with stiff photos and posing. She can really capture the in-between moments, and has an eye for unique shots. She also edited our photos very quickly – we had them done within a week of the wedding! Her website allows full view and download of all your photos, and she has a store where you can order prints, books and framed photos. I am very please with our photos, and can’t wait to order them to take home.

Choosing Ashley as our engagement and wedding photographer was the best choice we made on our wedding day. We looked very extensively for a wedding photographer and we are so glad we found her. She captured every single detail of our special day and went above and beyond to make sure we got every picture we wanted. I loved her honesty throughout the process when it came to my timeline and how much time we would have after the ceremony to take pictures. It was so helpful in trying to figure out our last minute details. She is very laid back and kept things very calm and fun. She was very attentive behind the lens and loved to have fun. Group and family shots went very smoothly because of her and she still had enough time to get pictures of us before it got dark. We loved how open she was to having our 8 month old puppy in some of the photos. The gallery of all the wedding images came out absolutely beautiful and we can't wait to hang them up in our home. If you are looking for a photographer who is a real person - open, caring, 100% honest, sarcastic - and who is also exceptional at her job, Ashley is your girl. I would've hired her on her portfolio alone; she has an amazing eye for interesting backdrops, beautiful light, and getting the best of out of her couples. However, she treats you like a person, not just a client, which completely sealed the deal. Ashley was forever available by text, email and phone, for even the smallest, last-minute bride anxieties and always made me feel confident and relaxed. My only sadness is that our work together is over. We had the most fun! xx

When looking for wedding photographers I was looking for someone who got it, and by it I meant the aesthetic, feel and connection I was looking for with someone who would be capturing the most important days of my life. I stressed I wouldn’t find someone who understood what I wanted and hoped for, that was within budget and wouldn’t be stuck up/pushy about traditional photos I didn’t want. But then I found Ashley. It could have been that we both love wine, tequila and the Backstreet Boys, or that her gallery and down to earth tone of her website was amazing, but nonetheless, I knew Ashley was the photographer for me. I sent in my booking request on her website hoping that the stars would aligned and thankfully they did. Every text, e-mail, Facebook comment and Instagram like I shared with Ashley from that moment on felt made me view Ashley more as a friend who totally understood wedding planning and craziness rather than someone looking to be paid (I mean that IS important, but understanding your customer and being relatable helps!). I was really lucky that while she was in NY for a wedding, Ashley met up with my then-fiancé and myself for a quick photo-shoot to get to know us—it was a great opportunity to see how we would work together the day of and the photos were amazing. Ashley even came back to NY in August to shoot my boudoir session; I am not stick thin and not entirely comfortable with my body, but the way that Ashley photographed me made me actually feel sexy. Her photos were tastefully done and I loved the small details she captured. I really wish I could share the photos with everyone, haha! The days leading up to the wedding, Ashley reviewed timelines and our must have photos. To be honest, the actual day goes by SO fast, and I’m so thankful to both Ashley and Hilary (the second photographer we hired) to capture all the special moments of our day. One thing I really loved about Ashley is that she gets every aspect of being a bride in 2018—Ashley sent us preview photos of our wedding gallery within 48-hours of our wedding so we could make our official Facebook announcements of “finally married!” with well photographed photos, not something a family member took on their phone. I am blown away by the moments Ashley has captured during our wedding day—the composition, the framing and the amount of photos exceeded our hopes. I have already suggested Ashley to other brides, one being a past student, and I will continue to do so. When I started researching photographers for my 7/6/18 wedding, I knew I wanted a personal one-on-one experience with someone who would just take amazing pictures. When I booked Ashley, I got that and so much more! Ashley took time to video chat with me, follow up with me via e-mail, and made sure she met up with me in person before the wedding. She helped me put together a timeline (which I honestly would have been completely clueless about otherwise). It was great getting to know her. It made the actual photo-taking, which is a weird experience for folks who aren't photographed everyday, seamless and comfortable. My husband and I thought that doing the first look and all the together was so much fun. The week of my outdoor wedding at NY Botanical Garden, there was torrential rain in the forecast for the entirety of the wedding day. I was obviously a little stressed out about this but I knew I could text Ashley to put our heads together on a contingency plan. The weather actually turned out perfect but she was that extra bit of support that is just above and beyond what we hired her for. And as for the pictures, they turned out spectacularly. We are absolutely thrilled with the work product we received. She gave us a preview almost immediately and turned around the entire gallery within weeks. Couldn't ask for more in a photographer and would highly, highly recommend.

There's just something in her that makes you think your wedding is going to be stress-free with her there. And that's exactly how our wedding turned out to be. And you know she's a good person when she takes what you need and offers the best plan instead of suggesting the most expensive plan that might not be necessary. She's not only a photographer, she's a wedding planner in the sense that she takes in all the information from every vendor and makes a master plan. If you want a relaxing wedding, book her. I discovered Ashley on Instagram while searching wedding hashtags because needed a photographer for our wedding in St Pete Beach, FL. As soon as I found her and saw her beautiful work, I didn’t even think twice about asking her to be our wedding photographer. Ashley was so amazing and professional during our engagement photoshoot as well as our wedding. My family can be a little hard to track down and keep in one place and Ashley was able to do it with ease and patience. Our photos turned out phenomenal as Ashley is great at lighting, finding great background settings and getting those candid natural photos of the guests. When planning our wedding, we didn't really have it in our budget for a photographer and some of my family tried swaying us to just having the guests all take pictures. I cant say how happy I am that we decided against that and choosing Ashley to be our photographer. Even the family members that originally thought it was unnecessary to hire a photographer changed their opinions after seeing the beautiful Photos. After seeing Ashley's portfolio we knew she would be the perfect choice for our wedding. Her photography offers the perfect balance of mood, lighting and clarity. Plus she's just a blast to be around! When we first contacted her, she responded right away and suggested we meet up for dinner (The moment she asked if tacos were ok, I knew she was the one). It was really nice to actually connect with a vendor in person, rather than by phone or email. From there she always kept in touch and even helped us in other aspects such as planning our wedding day timeline. On our wedding day Ashley and her second photographer arrived early and immediately started shooting. It was obvious they knew exactly what they were doing. They navigated the day seamlessly and the best part is you could tell they were having a blast while doing it. They even showed off some dance moves while shooting on the dance floor ^_^ We received our photographs on our honeymoon (way faster than expected), and they were absolutely breathtaking! They captured every detail of our big day (I mean we got A LOT of photographs back) and I am so thankful we will have these to cherish for the rest of our lives. Not only that, but she has been helpful through this whole process; she has been there whenever I had a question about planning, not just the photos! We recently had our wedding on 12/17 and she was was helpful from the beginning of the wedding day, offering to get coffee or anything I needed. Ashley was spectacular! I had not met Ashley until my wedding day but she felt like a friend immediately. She is very personable and helped keep a very stressful day low key. I never once felt like I was posing, she just naturally gets amazing pictures. Your wedding day fly's by and Ashley did such a wonderful job of capturing every moment. I found Ashley's gallery online when I was searching for wedding photographers. As a avid "non picture couple" and private/shy person in front of the camera I was very nervous about hiring a wedding photographer. When I found Ashley's gallery it was, to say the least, a breath of fresh air. Her talent speaks for itself when you look at the galleries. I loved the candid style and beauty she captures with each couple. She hits the classic posed pictures as well as gets the candids that capture those amazing moments that you dont want to forget. I did an engagement shoot and a wedding shoot with Ashley and she was the absolute best to work with. She made my, now husband, and I SOOO comfortable in front of the camera. When she sees you are a little stiff or shy, she makes a joke and keeps you laughing. Always snapping and tells you when she has the "roll" she needs. Meaning we can keep shooting but she has everything she needs to give you all the pictures you could want. My engagement photos and wedding photos captured the most beautiful moments that we will have for a lifetime. Ashley exceeded my expectations so much in the engagement shoot that for my wedding day I knew that she was going to absolutely kill it. I trusted her completely and told her "just tell me when you have it and we can keep moving on..." (as I really do not like to pose to much for pictures ... i was ready to celebrate!) In the middle of the wedding shoot, Ashley was so happy with one of the photos at sunset she wanted to show me and I refused because I knew that if she was that happy it was going to be stunning and I wanted to be surprised!!! That is how much trust you can have in her talent and ability to capture the moments on your wedding day. Not only did she do an amazing job with my husband and myself, but she builds a rapport with everyone at the wedding. Including my three year old niece who was about to throw a tantrum in the middle of the wedding family pictures outside the church. Ashely was calm and distracted my niece to get the best family photos! (When my niece stopped crying...At that moment my mom whispered to me.... wow she is good!!!) Ashley is truly a special photographer, not only does she produce the most beautiful photos, she is the utmost professional (on time and always in the right place to capture the photos). Ashley is full service and will develop a detailed time line for you, and recommend vendors. She recommended the best DJ for my wedding! Trust me when I say Ashley will not disappoint you and will exceed expectations! I have to say.. Ashley made my wedding go so much smoother than it could have gone! When looking for a photographer I really only had one request: get my husband to smile. He hates taking photos and never smiles in them, so I knew he needed to click with our photographer. Insert Ashley. From our first meeting (which may or may not have included a few margaritas) she made us both feel like we were more like friends then clients. From our engagement shoot (where she was literally climbing on our bed) to our wedding day, she made taking photos so fun and easy. I don’t even know how to start this review because there are so many things that I love about Ashley! Words really can’t describe how incredible she is. I saw some of her wedding photographs through a mutual friend and immediately fell in love with her style. I contacted her and she replied within a minute! Ashley is so down to earth! She's really got your back, and she really, really, REALLY cares about you. She also loves what she does. Any couple would be lucky to have her in their lives--and it's not just about being there for the special day; she is there for you the WHOLE way. We first met Ashley online, started chatting, and exchanging messages about engagement photo outfits before we even met in person in NYC. On the day of our engagement photos, she arrived even before we did at the crack of dawn (not joking) and although we were all still a bit sleepy, she sparked our happy smiles and positive energy and turned the morning into one of the most romantic dates my partner and I have ever had. We walked to our favorite spots in Central Park, did a wardrobe change and went to LIC, where we took more formal photos by the water. Ashley fit right into our little three-person-couple for the morning, making us laugh, feel comfortable, and get our natural smiles going strong for the whole session. Hanging out with her by that point felt like hanging out with a friend, and she made it so easy to be romantic with a third person watching and taking photos. She knew just what to say to crack us up and make us feel at ease. Leading up to the wedding (almost a year later), Ashley helped me with so many elements of planning...I honestly had no clue what I was doing when it came to some things like timelines, pros and cons of doing a first look, and even my partner sent her photos of potential tie and suit colors and pocket squares to get her input. She responded to all our questions quickly and excitedly. Her Facebook group for brides also offered me a huge community of support--we commiserated together about tracking down RSVP's and offered one another advice and recommendations. I really appreciated having a judgment-free zone of encouraging, supportive brides going through similar experiences. The night before the wedding, we invited Ashley to join us for our welcome dinner as a guest for tacos, wine and beer, and bonfire smores outside. It was so nice to have her there just to enjoy the night together before the big day. On our wedding day, Ashley showed up right on time and was super supportive. She was a relaxing, comforting presence and she helped me feel at ease. She was really sweet and helped me choose what paper to write my vows on, she helped me give myself permission to be authentic, to have fun, and to not worry about what "should" or "shouldn't" happen--to just be me.
