Ashley was hands down my favorite vendor that I worked with for my entire wedding! She did my bridal portraits and then our full wedding day photography. Not only is she just the coolest, nicest person, but her skills are amazing. I cannot tell you how many people commented on how great our photos turned out! I was drawn to Ashley's work because I could tell she captures happiness and those truly emotional moments. I was not disappointed one bit. She event scaled a rooftop ladder holding my train and her camera just so we could take some sunset pictures on the roof. She gave me the perfect amount of direction and got through our family photos so quickly and efficiently. During the reception, she somehow managed to be in the right places at all the right times without being super noticeable or in your face. I highly recommend her to anyone who wants photos that capture warmth and all the best moments of your day!

Ashley with Letter A Photography is truly a gem. I got to know her when she photographed my brother's wedding and after seeing her work/getting to know her I knew I wanted to use her for my wedding. There is so much more to finding the perfect photographer than looking at their portfolio. You need to be able to trust that your photographer has a great personality and vision for capturing your event. Ashley really is the full package. She is the kind of person that you instantly want to become best friends with because she makes you feel so comfortable and at ease. For me, that is what set her apart from so many other fabulous photographers in DFW. Ashley was willing to drive pretty far out into the middle of nowhere for our engagement shoot on my husband's family's property. EMOTION, That is what I love about her work! She is the best at capturing what the day is all about. Her photos are filled with love and all the feels throughout the day. The crazy thing about her work is its all genuine and in the moment images she captures (and you hardly know shes there). There were very very few "posed" photos except the expected family photos ect. Ashley is amazing, she is always very professional and a great communicator. She was always responsive to emails, phone calls, and texts. Her husband also was our videographer and did a great job seamlessly together! I was so comfortable working with her and her spunky ideas. Ashley is such a great photographer. I am OBSESSED with my wedding photos. She was able to capture every single thing. Ashley and her second shooter not only helped with the little things like helping me with my veil, helping smooth over bumps, and handling my babbling child so well, but she captured our day in a way that just brought me to tears. We hired Ashley to capture our engagement photos, bridals and wedding day and couldn't be happier with how the pictures turned out! We loved that she did an excellent job of getting traditional shots as well as cool/hip ones. She is extremely fun to be around and is incredibly talented at her craft! She was the first vendor we booked---14 months before the wedding date---as we knew we HAD to have her. She was the only photographer we interviewed and we knew it was meant to be. I cannot say enough good things about Letter A Photography.... Ashley and her husband Nat! First of all, compared with the other photographers I was researching, Ashley's images are so effortless and don't look over edited. Just scroll thru her portfolio on her website and you'll see hundreds soft, timeless images of beautiful brides & grooms that do not look overdone or cheesy whatsoever. Even for someone like me who is pretty awkward in front of a camera, Ashley made our images appear flawless and natural. We purchased the all-day package that included 2-photographers on the day of, an album and bridal session. We also have online access to all our images and video! Her session prices were very competitive. Ashely was always on time to the sessions. Even though she had never shot at my location before she did her homework and found the best sites for memorable shots. Not only is she a great photographer with a good eye, she was very professional and readily available via phone or email to answer any questions or concerns. No bride wants to have to worry about not getting a hold of one of their vendors when you're planning a wedding! The day of our wedding her husband Nat joined us and shot a video for us. The video was beautiful and sentimental! He was able to get all the highlights of our wedding day (including recording our vows) and it was woven together perfectly! If I had a chance to do it all over again I wouldn't change a thing. My husband and I went thru our images just the other day trying to narrow down 65 images for the album and had the hardest time because there were just too many beautiful images to choose from! That's a great problem to have! I would recommend Letter A Photography to anyone and everyone. This dynamic duo is very laid back (taking away some of the stress from your big day), but get the job done!

Ashley was EASILY one of the best things about our wedding day. She made me feel so comfortable, beautiful, and at peace through the whole thing. We did the package that included engagements and a boudoir session along with all day coverage on the wedding day, and I couldn't have been happier with the result. Getting the photos back was actually one of my favorite marriage memories so far. They are beyond stunning, and she got every shot I asked for plus tons I could never have thought of. Captured "us" perfectly! We are two people that don't love our photo taken, but wanted to capture the memories. Ashley made us feel so comfortable and captured us very naturally - she found a great way to make us feel relaxed. As the groom our roll of wedding planning is minor compared to our wives. I'd like to think I was a little more involved than others though. I wanted to be sure we weren't spending money on things we didn't even need. I said no to invitation ideas, made her look elsewhere for flowers after her initial quote, but when it came to a photographer I immediately said yes to Ashley from Letter A! My wife showed me her website and that's when I realized I had worked with her before. I was a groomsmen in my buddies wedding and she was their photographer. We are a rowdy bunch but she had no problems keeping us In line to make sure she got everything the bride and groom had asked for. The same went for my wedding! We got married in April and I'm pretty sure she was 7/8 months pregnant but still out there with us. She could have cancelled on us but she made a commitment and stuck with us. Mad Props to her for that! After the event she met the deadline and had our 800 or so photos back to us on time. Her work was outstanding and my wife and I couldn't be happier! The most difficult part of the entire process was trying to choose the 60-65 photos to put in our wedding album! I would definitely recommend her to anyone of my friends getting married in the future!

I ADORED working with Ashley and her second shooter. I planned my Texas wedding while living in Colorado, so I was really skeptical about hiring someone who I had never met before. However, Ashley and I had the opportunity to speak a few times via phone and she was so receptive of my vision and expectations for our big day. I actually met Ashley for the first time on the day of our wedding. She was punctual, kind, fun, and professional. I was really worried about not doing a "first look", as many photographers strongly encourage (read: require) this due to time constraints; Ashley really advocated for me when the plan to forgo the first look came under fire. She worked around OUR timeline and still got absolutely BEAUTIFUL shots. I've heard horror stories of photographers who push their own agenda of photos they want instead of listening to what the bride/groom/family wants, but Ashley was so easy going and I knew she was absolutely putting us first. I adore the photos she took of us in our church, but some of my favorite shots are the ones she got from our reception. She and her second made a very concentrated effort to take photos of as many guests as possible, and I think we actually have photos of almost every person at our wedding! I am so so glad we chose Letter A, and I have already recommended her to friends and family.

My husband and I feel so lucky to have found Ashley to be our photographer. Not only was she there for all of those hours doing her amazing work, she was also helping to keep everything running smoothly, even making sure my (always late) husband got to the first look on time! Now to her photos… They were simply stunning. Our wedding day went by so fast and we are so thankful we had someone as attentive, personable, & professional as Ashley to document our day for us. I cannot say enough about Ashley as a person, as an organized professional, and most importantly as a breathtaking photographer. Ashley was involved in our big day from beginning to end. She took two sets of engagement photos, a boudoir and bridal session and all day coverage of our wedding day. During each of our shoots she was accommodating and inventive with styles and poses. She traveled with us for one shoot and braved the Texas heat at the State Fair for the other. She is a trooper! I felt comfortable doing a boudoir shoot with her. Even though this is something I was apprehensive about doing in the beginning, she was able to make me feel at ease and even excited about it! She really captured the sweet look I was going for…Oh la la! On our wedding day, she kept everyone where they needed to be and helped the day flow seamlessly. People say this about a lot of photographers, but I really mean it with Ashley. We didn’t have a wedding planner and she really stepped in wherever she needed to. Both my husband and I have big families and she was able to keep up with everyone! Ashley had a great second shooter and their chemistry worked so well, it just put everyone at ease. Having some alone time between the ceremony and reception was important to us, she made sure that was a possibility by leading us to a private room and kept our families occupied. During the reception she was everywhere! She even found a ladder to capture our first dance from above. I can't say enough about how wonderful our experience with Letter A truly was! We will cherish our photos forever and we are so glad we went with Ashley of Letter A Photography to capture such a special time in our life. We love you Ashley!

We cannot be more grateful to have stumbled upon Ashley as our wedding photographer! Not only are we SO pleased with the photos that she took of our big day, but she was so easy to work with and actually helped out a lot on the day of. It was fun to get to know Ashley during our engagement session--we knew instantly that we would become friends, and we have! She is SUPER punctual and organized with all of her equipment in case any possible "worse case scenarios" happen which we really appreciated (Even though everything went seamlessly). On the wedding day, she was a fly on the wall when she needed to be, and gave great direction to family and friends when she needed to or we asked her to. All of my friends and family loved her and how she was able to capture all of our special moments. I am especially happy she got along with my MOHs and knew to ask them questions on the wedding day as opposed to me which helped me focus a lot more on the moments of the day instead of getting the perfect shot set up for her. She works with you to make a list of the "must-have" photos beforehand and has great time-management skills getting all of them--especially when we had to be out of the chapel by a certain time and getting everyone together for photos is like herding cats. But she never ever stressed me or anybody out during the whole wedding and maintained a very positive and happy vibe the whole day. She got beautiful photos of all of the wedding party as well as my husband and I. She is also really open and "go with the flow" with any last minute requests you have like I did with a can-do attitude. She is also very talented with working with any lighting situation and really knows her camera/diff lenses so she can adjust her settings to make sure you get the best photos. I also really loved and appreciated how well she worked with my other vendors and helped out where other vendors royally lacked. The photographer she hired to take pictures with her that day was also wonderful. Basically, I can go on about how awesome Ashley and her photography is. I promise you, you will not be disappointed if you hire her. She has a very creative eye and wonderful sense of light, color and composition. And this comes from someone with a fashion and art background. I know she only offers this to past clients, but we loved her photography so much for our engagements and wedding that we hired her to take our maternity photos soon as well! I do not even know where to start! I met Ashley through a mutual friend and we instantly clicked. Ashley is hands down the best decision we made in our wedding process. Our photo sessions included engagements, bridals, & a FULL wedding day. If I could some up Ashley in one word it would be exceptional. She exceeded my expectations with each of our sessions and she LITERALLY kept our wedding day running. We had some major issues with our coordinator, Ashley stepped up (without me knowing in most cases) and pretty much kept the day together. She was with us from the moment we started getting ready until our exit from the wedding. She kept us laughing & relaxed during all our photo ops. She interacted with the guests & bridal party with pure professionalism :). All of our photos have turned out amazing. She makes you feel relaxed and comfortable.
