She ended up volunteering to film our ceremony on our GoPro when we couldn't figure out who would! When i started looking for make up artists i was SUPER nervous because i don't wear a lot of make up. When i stumbled upon her instagram page i knew right away i needed to book her. I went for my trial with her and had no idea what i wanted, i showed her a couple pictures. She knew exactly what would look good on me with my eyes, and skin tone. I looked in the mirror and BOOM i was like OMG i looked absolutely beautiful. I cried during my ceremony and one of my fake eyelashes fell off so I was very glad she was there for touch ups. she reapplied my eyelashes and eye makeup at about 3pm. it stayed perfectly until i washed it off at about 330am that night no joking or exaggerating. she also did not mind that I changed how I wanted my eyes and bought some of my own things and made very good use of them. Yes, they are hired to do a job, BUT they are in control of making you pretty! With that said, Ashley didn’t feel like hired help, she felt like a friend with me on my special day doing my makeup. I used to be in the TV industry so I did my makeup myself every day, (now I work in another field and wear barely any makeup during the day). But when I got home that day, the foundation oxidized so my face looked a little darker than it should've (not her fault, it happens). I was terrified to talk to her about it (I didn't want her to think I was criticizing her work). She was SO understanding and accommodating, she said she would make a note of what she used and that we'd go a shade lighter for the wedding day and that it wouldn't be a problem. She was 100% right! I would recommend Ashley to anyone! I had bridesmaids who wanted total glam and others who wanted more neutral, she did both. I have a mother who wanted to look 10 years younger, she did it, we were amazed! I will definitely use Ashley again in the future and I suggest you do too!
